There is so much truth in this book and it really made me think about my own perspective on various memories and how these may have been influenced by the passing of time. Almost tenderly written, the author teases out questions about revisiting the past and how different points of view colour the same events,
This book put me in my feelings as soon as Peter returned to his hometown. I thought he wasn't as proud of his parents or childhood as much as he should have. I love that realizes this. I would recommend this book for those that like to look back in time.
I loved this book! I think there were still parts that could have been improved like pacing, and the ending, but other than that it was great!!! I love the concept about how this guy has his memories of growing up and then he realized something at home was not what he remembered, sending them into a whole mess of connecting things in their pasts, and how not everything is as it seems or how he thought it was. It was very fun reading through and seeing how things changed for our characters
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for this complimentary ARC in exchange for an honest review!!
