I really enjoyed this amusing and light-hearted take on parenthood. The pictures and news articles are silly and fun, and the way that parenting is compared to the extreme sports and activities depicted in the photos is very clever.
There are lots of handy tips for organisation, child development and preserving your sanity. On top of that, it also contains some important mental health advice about not being too hard on yourself, embracing the chaos and trying to find the humour in tough situations.
A perfect baby shower gift. Thank you to NetGalley/the publisher/author for this eARC.

Pictures of babies shopped into wild adventures were already a favorite of mine, and these pictures elevate that idea to a whole new level. These babies are everywhere, in volcanoes, on skateboards, living their wildest lives no matter how their poor mommas and daddies try to tame them.
While the pictures and accompanying text are wildly hilarious, there is also excellent practical advice at the end of each section with comforting words of support. This would be an excellent gift for any parent of a young child. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.

What an absolutely delightful picture book! Diapers and Danger: A Baby Shower Gift Full of Extreme Infants in Action by C.B. Daniels is a doubly useful book, in that it provides the opportunity to get a good laugh, or at least a chuckle, and it also provides some helpful advice at the end of each section. I know this, because I raised two daredevils myself, and immensely enjoyed Daniels' offering both as one who understands and a grandmother-to-be.
And really, could there BE a better use of AI illustrations? I think not.
I read this on my NetGalley app, but you can bet my son and his wife, the soon-to-be parents, will be finding this arrive in their mailbox shortly.
Thank you for the wonderfully funny and informative ARC of #DiapersandDanger to #NetGalley.
