4.75/5 stars! I've read several other of Sophie's books, so was excited to get my hands on this book. The storytelling in this book was phenomenal. I felt connected with Penn and Drake and didn't see some of the plot developments coming. However, this is an ultimate slow burn with limited spiciness. Think more fantasy with a romance side story, than romantasy. Definitely a must read for fans of PNR and shifter fantasy.

Great shifter book. I enjoyed the character progression and the story line. The FMM is fierce and independent easy to follow.

I love finding a shifter book that still hits the major plot points we all love but takes the storyline in a little bit different direction so I don’t fully know what’s going to happen.
This book did that for me. I needed to step away from in depth fantasy world with fae and dragons and extreme world-building and read a book about werewolves and vampires like teenage me used to always love, and Sophie delivered that in this story.
I really enjoyed Drake and her sassy personality from the very beginning. I knew pretty quickly who the villain was, but even he constantly had me questioning things. And then I couldn’t decide for sure if Penn was going to be an antagonist or protagonist or what the heck he was…but I honestly loved him the whole time regardless.
The dynamic between our MCs was fun and witty and had that burning tension we all love to see. And the red-haired bestie was icing on the cake for me, because that would absolutely be my role if I were a fictional character! Evera was that stubborn, opinionated, fiery woman we all need in our lives, and I adored her.
If you’re looking for an enjoyable, quick read with a happy ending, I definitely recommend this book!

I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

I've read The Lost Pack by Sophie Davies, a stand-alone urban romantasy.
It's starts when Drake's father will be murdered by another wolf in the pack to become the Alpha of the pack. Drake has to overcome her feelings, and together with her best friend Evera, she finds more information about an Acient Prophecy. But what with Penn, the annoying Beta of the pack and her personal guard...
I loved the story. I think Sophie Davis is a very good writer and now I have more books of her in my TBR.
I give this book a 4-star rating!
Thank you for getting the opportunity to read this as ARC

The Lost Pack was a thrilling ride with a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance, intense angst, and a strong, badass female lead in Drake. I loved Penn’s brooding, protective nature, and their dynamic was perfectly executed. The plot had great pacing with surprising twists, and the dreams Drake experiences, while confusing at first, all came together in a satisfying way. Evera, Drake’s loyal best friend, was another highlight, adding humor and heart to the story.
The villains, especially Finneus, were despicably good, and I found myself truly hating him in the best way. However, I did feel a bit lost in the world-building, especially with the Zodiac Wolves and some of the prophecies mentioned. More background info early on would have been helpful.
Despite these minor issues, The Lost Pack was an engaging, unique read that left me excited for future installments. I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes next!
Rating: 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love a good fantasy with a strong minded FMC and this book meets those standards. I did take me a minute to get into, but once I was hooked I couldn't put it down.

If you like shifter romances, your going to love this one, lots of romance, intrigue, and betrayal, will the girl get the guy of her dreams?
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you for allowing me to review

This is a captivating read for fans of fantasy romance and shifter stories, particularly those who enjoy slow-burn relationships, forbidden love, and tales of rebellion, loyalty, and self-discovery in a richly detailed world of werewolves and ancient prophecies.

I surprisingly really enjoyed this book. I was not to sure I would like this story in the beginning especially with how the love interest acted at first. I fell in love with Penn along side Drake, which I think made this story more appealing to me. When the romance started to pick up, I could not stop reading because I had to know where this story would go. The dreams were very intriguing to me, I kept trying to figure out what they meant and making up theories. When it was finally revealed what they meant, I was SHOCKED. I would have never guess that revelation. I personally wanted to see more resistance from Drake regarding the pack but I also understood why she couldn’t. I also would have liked to see more of a jealous side from Penn.
I could not put this story down which is why I think more readers should give this book a try.
Thank you to the author and NetGalley for this e-ARC.

This is the story of a spoilt Alpha's daughter watching her father's death ,
her world crashing down around her and being taken prisoner - all under
the auspices of a "prophecy"
Guarded by the pack Beta her only role now is as a pawn - how is she to survive ?
There is a constant will they or wont they fall to the spark between them from the
start - who is using who to gain an advantage ?. what secrets are to be revealed ?
This is an enemies to lovers read , where when Drake was given power , it was not what would
have been the norm under the rules of Pack society - confusing !
I found it difficult to feel a great deal of sympathy for Drake at times , her grief at her
father's death seemed to be soon forgotten . And as for Penn just where do his loyalties lie ?
There was a mix of modern day living with cell phones , clothing and yet rain water was
drunk of of jugs - again confusing !
It was an interesting read overall but I felt it could have been tightened up in places to
provide a better flow
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

A cool bit-lit, even though I had a bit of trouble getting into the story at first. I struggled to connect with the characters in the beginning, but once the story picked up, it became a real page-turner. I really liked Penn and would have loved to learn more about him and his connection to Drake. The slight lack of world-building isn’t too distracting, but it could have been more developed to enhance immersion in the story.
That said, the writing is smooth, and it’s an enjoyable read! In short, a fun one-shot for bit-lit fans!

I thought that this book had great potential and with just a bit... more... it could have been great.
I really enjoyed the FMC and I was excited to see how she would manage the blows and conflicts that came her way at the beginning of the book. She was a spoiled Alpha's daughter who had everything she wanted, and in the blink of an eye, her father's life is taken in front of her. While we did experience some grief as her world crashed down around her, I do wish that the author would have fleshed out the heartbreak. The world goes on yes, but with the way that her life got flipped upside down, it felt like the FMC moved on from the loss of her father a bit too quickly.
Our MMC.... He checks off boxes. That's kind of it. He feels like a trope checklist with not much depth. I didn't feel the tension or chemistry between our characters and he just comes across like a brick wall. He has a few moments where you start to see character development, an MMC with a life of his own, and then it slips out of your fingers as he regresses back into the trope checklist.
I thought the author was inspired by having past lives and memories be woven into the story. Yet again, I wish that it was more fleshed out. I wish that we got to experience the characters a bit more and see how those unlocked memories began to cause shifts within our FMC. She went from spoiled brat to Alpha warrior just a bit too quick for my tastes. The lack of development with the past lives caused them to become unremarkable. I forgot the names of the lives just as soon as they were introduced, leaving me wondering what impact they truly have on the story if at all. The dreams were disjointed and disconnected from the rest of the story until the "big plot twist" at the end, but even then it wasn't enough to pull it back together in a satisfying way.
The wrap up of the story left much to be desired. It feels very "female empowerment" with a leader who shouldn't be a leader. In this world, women are meant for nothing more than mating and having children. They aren't on the council and they have to defer to their mates, or at least that's how I understood it. Our FMC was never raised with the expectation of being a leader. She had no skills outside of fashion and shopping, and suddenly she is an Alpha and has a pack to take care of. She makes many unpopular decisions that seems to alienate her pack members and they are told to basically, get over it. It feels like the writer had an agenda here, which is fine, but didn't write the characters correctly to back it up.
Overall, It was okay. It had pacing issues, the world building needs some work, the editing could have been a little neater, and the characters needed to be fleshed out. But, I did enjoy the store at the base of it, despite the issues.

This story focuses on Drake who is the daughter of an alpha wolf. It begins with a celestial event that triggers a prophecy for the pack and follows the aftermath and struggle for power.
I did enjoy reading it and wanted to find out how the conflict was going to be resolved… . This is a slow burn, enemies to lovers story. Interesting plot and worldbuilding with a few confusing bits. I didn't love the female main character but found this, overall, to be an enjoyable read. This is my first book by this author and I will be checking out more of her work..

Spicy, male female, single point of view (fmc), paranormal (wolf shifters!) romance. This is a slow burn, enemies to lovers story. Interesting plot and worldbuilding with a few confusing bits. I didn't love the female main character but found this, overall, to be an enjoyable read. This is my first book by this author and I will be checking out more of her work.

This was my first time reading a book by this author, and I was pleasantly surprised.
I’m a huge fan of the genre, and I honestly am quite picky about books that fit this specific trope.
I absolutely adored Drake. The MMC is your typical alpha in some ways; Protective, a bit brash and angsty. But at times, I did question his intentions and role.
The plot was intriguing and kept my interest. The dynamics between characters was great.
Overall, I would definitely read this book again, and would love to read others by the author.

Sophie Davis drew me in immediately with the action packed start to this book. Our FMC has her world upturned, her support system gone, and we get to see her navigate the trials she faces while navigating the political landscape of the pack she thought she knew. The MMC is broody and protective but, you are left to constantly question where his loyalties lie. So much angst for this slow-burn and I loved it.
The one small note I had was the world the characters live in. They are in the desolate mountains but have working cell phones. They wear fancy gowns and modern tuxedos but still sport cloaks and drink rain water from a jug. It is a small thing but, I felt I was often trying to understand what time period it actually was.
Overall, I really enjoyed the story and incredible journey our characters went on. I truly hope we get a spin off with our American-born fae mobster because I am thoroughly intrigued by his story. Thank you so much to Sophie and NetGalley for this ARC in return for my honest review. My opinions are my own.

I’m not the biggest fan of shifter romances but this one really surprised me!
The Lost Pack follows Drake, the daughter of the Orphiuchus alpha, as she grapples with losing her entire world in a single night. As a new alpha takes over, she is essentially a prisoner in her own home. With her mysterious childhood friend Penn, the pack’s Beta, assigned as her guard, they develop a relationship that risks them both. As the pack descends into chaos, its up to Drake to uncover the truth and save their future.
The worldbuilding here was pretty solid - although some of the lore had some holes in it. The nice thing about shifter romances is that the world is pretty self-explanatory so there isn’t anything too complicated. The origin lore didn’t completely make sense here but it didn’t ruin the reading experience for me.
The romance was PERFECT for me (although I’m a sucker for this kind of couple) - it wasn’t too rushed, it has organic chemistry, and it had a very romantic charm to it. The main characters were beautifully developed and had depth to them.
I particularly liked the FMC’s character growth throughout the story. She goes from being a “naive” princess type character to a self confident leader with agency, which was really nice to see in a romantasy that may not necessarily prioritize that.
This is a MUST for romantasy lovers!
Thank you Netgalley and Victory Editing for the e-ARC!

I received this arc from Net Galley and Sophie Davis. I love a good fantasy with a strong-minded FMC, and this book definitely meets those standards. Drake Aspen is the Alpha’s daughter in the Ophiuchus Wolf Pack. Within this particular wolf pack, there is a prophecy involving one night where two comets will pass over their home in Snake Mountain. The passing of the comets is meant to be a sign of coming peace to the mountain, but instead after they pass, chaos ensues. In one night, Drake loses everything, including her freedom. The new Beta of the pack, Penn, is now charged with keeping her under guard in her home, where she is kept to be used as a pawn by the new Alpha. Drake soon comes to learn the truth behind the ancient prophecy of the two comets and has to decide what she wants to do with that information- fight against the new Alpha or leave and lose her pack. This is a enemies-to-lovers with a bit of a slow burn, but I really enjoyed the chemistry between these two characters. I also really liked the character growth that Drake undergoes in this book. If you enjoy fantasy, prophecies, shifters, a slow burn enemies-to-lovers romance, and magic then you will enjoy this book when it comes out on December 3rd.
