This is not a book you can curl up cozily with.
This is a book that will stretch you’re heartstrings and more.

A son dies leaving another son (brother) badly grieving who never felt like he fitted in the family and now this. This awful grief, this terrible pain.

His Father now has dementia and if anyone has experienced this with a loved one you know how much you repeat yourself or they think you are someone else.

He had to go through this opening up the wounds again and again and again.

Behind all this are family secrets.

No matter how long it is, no matter how time goes by, it can destroy everything we ever held dear.

There was much to enjoy here, but I found I couldn't connect with it. I'd read more from this author in the future though.
