These are very short stories about individuals on a train that has stopped for two hours, for some reason or another. It's not the same train trip and none of the stories are related. There is a twist to each story at the end. Some twists are predictable, some are not. Nothing earthshaking here, but a good read for those looking for stories that don't require deep concentration.

This is a great book to read when you only have a short time to read. Each short story is unique and often has a twist. My favorites were "Fairy Tales" and "Family life".
Very enjoyable book.
Absolutely LOVED Tales from the Train. So much so, got husband to also read and he agreed.
Let's face it, we all have a history, skeletons in the attic, a tale to tell??? Likewise we love people-watching too, wondering about their lives. Do they live alone? Is she a crazy cat woman? Are they happy/sad?
Well Tales from the Train is a compilation of short stories involving the passengers of a delayed train... some with shocking revelations, some with awful secrets, and yet some stories leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy.
