On July 23, 2023, i asked the author on instagram if Zach was going to have his book… Let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

I love how he's not your typical hockey dude with too much confidence! It's different and well written!

Also loved Finley, her perseverance & her strength! She stood up for her man 💥💥💥

It was funny & heartbreaking at the same time!

“You're so lucky I like you, Calder.” Don’t I fucking know it. 🤍

„Stick Your Landing“ introduces you to two incredibly kind and determined characters, Zach and Finley. A hockey player and a gymnast. A golden retriever and a black cat. And he happens to be her brother’s teammate!

I was sceptical at the beginning, as I thought that the first chapter set the tone for the rest of the book - meaning it was going to be a very spicy book with little plot, but I promise, it is worth to keep on reading, even if you like little spice. The chapter makes a lot of sense after getting to know the characters better.

Zach and Finley meet briefly at her brother’s wedding and it instantly sparks between them however circumstances keep them apart. Fast forward two years and Zach suffers a concussion after a hit on the ice and is forced to live with his captain. It just so happens that Finley, the captain’s sister, lives under that roof too. Enter another well-loved trope: forced proximity, and watch the magic happen!

Their relationship is incredibly sweet, a story about love, hope, hard work and trust. I loved the bipolar disorder II representation and even though I am in no position to judge if it is accurate, it felt very genuine. The difficult family dynamics and the shift in their treatment of Finley after her diagnosis was frustrating to read at times but was very realistic and I felt like the author did it justice. It was heart-warming to see how Finley and Zach, both faced with prejudice and their past mistakes, kept supporting each other.

If you are looking for a sports romance with younger characters (they are both twenty-one) that deals with heavier topics without making it too sad, this one could be for you! AND it is Dual POV with no third-act break-up! :)

Finley and Zach are struggling in their own ways. Zach is injured and his team thinks he needs supervision because he can't be trusted to take care of himself. Finley is bipolar and her family watches her like a hawk, afraid she'll have another dangerous episode. The two strike up an unlikely friendship and find a person who sees them for who they really are.

Never has there ever been a spicy scene that has left me as feral as the one that Kathryn Kincaid has written into Stick Your Landing. It was hot and tender and made me cry just a little (happy tears of course). I don't want to spoil any of the set up (which is just about perfect), so you are just going to have to read.

I love Zach and Finley so much. They jump right off the page. They are real, and raw, and vulnerable. Their chemistry is undeniable and quite honestly goals. And haters of third act breakups will be happy to know that there isn't one here!

Finley is getting her life back on track after a diagnosis halted her gymnastics career and Zach is recovering from a concussion at his teammates house when he comes across Finley, the girl he can’t seem to forget from two years ago and his teammates sister.

Okay first of all I loved Finley and Zach together they were so supportive of each other and while they started as friends it was inevitable they would fall for each other. Zach lets Finley take her time in revealing her diagnosis (that she fears will push him away) until she’s ready and for this Zach is officially book boyfriend material.

The all in series has been a hit after a hit and I really loved reading Stick Your Landing it was warm and genuine and really highlighted what healthy communication looks like in a relationship and you could really see that they respect each other and the supporting characters? Perfection.

When I read the description, I was hesitant. I mean, I tried to read Burnout and we all know how that went (I did not make it in 30 pages), and so when this gymnastics book was on my screen, I said screw it. Thank I god I did because this? Amazing

Finely and Zach are actually amazing characters because I feel like they represent what a lot of people are actually like. Not uncommon, but seeing bi polar II represented in a book? I almost cried I was so excited. As someone that has depression, Finely's character made so much sense to me. I know we all joke about how we take on the personality of the main characters in the book, but I actually felt like I lived this whole experience. I was really inspiring to see her be so vulnerable, yet so strong.

As for Zach, you want a cinnamon roll, you got a cinnamon roll. Absolute perfection, leave him alone. He really isn't like the other guys...no really he isn't. Sure, he's a hockey player with an injury- been there, read that. However, he isn't super cocky, or stuck up, or immature at all. It's what we love to see in a mmc that just so happens to be rich, hockey player material. He wasn't affected by Finely's condition; he was more upset she didn't just tell him! When he falls first, girl he's in the bag for life.

Literally could not have been any better for me. Thank you SO MUCH to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the eARC!

Wow. The feelings I felt. I wanted to hug Finely and Zach so bad. They had a fun meeting with an instant connection. They both feel this pull to each other. Two years later, they meet again as they are fighting their individual demons. They feel like they are “too much” and question why anyone would want to put up with them. They are both scared to let the other one all the way in but in the same breath, so scared of losing them. Watching them fall in love felt like being wrapped in a warm blanket.

I love Finley and Zach’s story. We have all felt like we’re not enough and the truth is we all deserve the person that loves us.

Bipolar/mental health representation.

This is an ARC review.

Stick Your Landing was such a fun opposites attract kind of book. This new addition to the All In series has got to be my favorite.

A slightly heavier read with the inclusion of bi polar disorder but the story was still a feel good romance. The representation was well done and played a large part without feeling over done.

I loved everything about Finnely and Zach. Their banter was so cute and their relationship felt so real. These two just had the perfect way to balance eachother out.

The last thing Zach remembers is playing hockey in his team’s season opener….then he wakes up on his captains couch with a serious concussion. But that’s not the only shock to his system. He also wakes up to see the greatest past hookup of his life in the same house. Which would be concerning enough, if she also wasn’t his captains SISTER.
Finley has enough on her plate, balancing a full college course load at school, training to make her gymnastic comeback at a highly competitive gym, managing her mental health all while also working part-time. The last thing she needs is romantic entanglements. Except, the more she tries to separate from Zach and her feelings, the more she realizes Zach makes her feel, truly feel.
But is the risk of alienating his team captain and her brother worth it? And Finley is working so hard to prove herself to everyone, can she really risk all of that?

There is a lot of hockey and gymnastic scenes in this book but overall the storylines and the pacing of the story were great and kept me entertained so that kind of offset all of the ‘sports’. Thank you Net Galley and publishers for this ARC.

➡ When Zach Briggs wakes up in his hockey captain's house after suffering a severe concussion during the team's critical home opener, he's shocked to see Finley Harris- the girl responsible for the greatest hookup of his life- and apparently his captain's sister. Finley has a lot going on, between managing a full course load of college credits, spending hours at the gym each day in an attempt to make a comeback to elite gymnastics, managing her mental health and holding a part-time job, but Zach brings something out in her that she hasn't felt in years. The more time they spend together as he recovers, the clearer it is that their connection is undeniable, but it's also risky: he doesn't want to chance getting on her brother's bad side and she's committed to proving herself to everyone around her. Taking a chance on love won't bring their worlds crashing down...will it?

🙏 Thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-Op, NetGalley and the author for an advanced copy of Stick Your Landing. All opinions are my own.

🎯 What I loved: This was, by far, my favorite book in this series to date! I adored the chemistry and banter between Briggs and Finley and loved how supportive of each other they were. The representation was well-done and though I'm not sure how accurate everything was, I really enjoyed the gymnastics and hockey scenes in this book. The pacing of this felt really good- it kept my attention and I didn't want to stop reading. I stayed up until 2 am because I couldn't put this down! I love a good comeback story and Finley reminded me a lot of Gracie Gold who experienced some similar challenges before making a figure skating comeback on the national stage- she's someone I found myself easily rooting for and really liked reading about because of her grit and persistence.

🙅‍♀️ What I didn't: My background is not in elite gymnastics but it did seem unrealistic that an athlete would have free reign of a gym without a coach present- especially for an athlete doing extremely dangerous tricks that necessitate spotters. And while I loved Finley's backstory and how her diagnosis drove the story forward, I didn't appreciate Zach's dyslexia rep as much because it seemed more thrown in just so that both characters were bringing challenges to the table. I wish that it had been explored a little bit more because I want to see dyslexia representation more in stories. Overall though, I really liked this book and would recommend to any sports romance fan!

This latest instalment in the series was a bit heavier than the previous two, as we learn about Finley’s bipolar diagnosis and the systems she has put in place to manage her mental health.

Zach was so cute and I hated the way his friends and teammates disregarded him and essentially wrote him off from the start. I loved him for Finley and was glad she had someone in her corner while her family took protection to the extreme.

I absolutely adored this couple. Zach and Finley balance each other out so perfectly. She is the structure and he is the fun. I have always loved a good opposites attract story but being a hockey romance on top of that makes it that much better. This checks all the boxes for me, brothers teammate, secret relationship with mental health representation and that kick your feet, giddy, happy love story feeling!

I could not put this book down! It was such a fun and quick read, never leaving a dull moment. I love the characters, everything about them made me want to keep reading. That being said, it was very fast paced. I personally prefer books like this, but I understand that some people don’t. The relationship developed quickly and I thought there was more room for some burn. Overall though, it was fantastic!

Truthfully there is nothing I love as much as a hockey romance. Hockey romances got me back into reading in my 20s and I have had a soft spot for them ever since. When I say I loooooved Zach y'all, understatement of the century. From the very first page I could not wait to see how he loved Finley, which, I won't lie, made the story feel so long until they finally got to be together. This is not the first book I have read that included mental health struggles, but they are done very respectfully and truthfully in my opinion. There are not always rainbows and love does not always fix everything! But everyone deserves to be loved. Will definitely recommend.

Having read the first book in this series, it’s nice to jump into a book with familiar faces (Volkov and Harris especially).

Zack is a loveable MMC from the beginning, Finley takes a little bit of warming up to, which is clearly intentional as with her mental health, and the mindset she’s in. The way Kathryn’s written Finley’s POV is perfection.

The chemistry between Zack and Finley is evident from the beginning and continues throughout.

Such a cute read! This sweet and swoon-worthy romance brings us Zach Briggs and Finley Harris, two characters who are total opposites in the most adorable way—think black cat and golden retriever vibes. Zach, with his brooding, reserved nature, is perfectly balanced by Finley's sunny, free-spirited personality, and together, they create the kind of chemistry that makes you smile with every page.

I loved the dual POV! It was so fun to see both sides of their story, with each perspective adding depth and heart to their journey. Watching their relationship unfold was like savoring a slow burn that paid off beautifully in the end. If you're looking for a feel-good, opposites-attract romance with all the sweet moments and none of the drama, this book is it! Perfect for curling up and getting lost in love.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for allowing me the opportunity to receive the ARC.

I was pretty interested in this book based on the tropes, the fact that it included pro hockey & gymnastics, and its mental health components. Overall, it was ok read. It felt more of a filler read for me personally, while I waited for some other books to release. I liked both characters well enough and the story was good, I just wasn’t superrrr invested. I haven’t read the other books in this series and maybe that’s why I wasn’t very invested?? It may not have been a five star read for me, but it’s definitely possible that I could be for someone else!
