*Vice and Void* is an intense, wild ride from start to finish, and I was absolutely blown away. This book hooked me so completely that I devoured it in a single goβI just couldnβt put it down. The emotional punches keep coming one after another, each revelation landing like a bombshell that left me reeling.
The connection between Dakota and Callum is beautifully painfulβfull of longing, heartache, and so much history that it practically pulses off the page. Their shared past is both heartwarming and gut-wrenching, and they both carry immense pain and confusion over the way their relationship ended. When they finally confront their past, itβs a pivotal moment loaded with new, heart-wrenching truths that add another layer of depth to their story. But thank the gods this is a second-chance romance because the connection between them is electric and only increases in its magnitude and intensity.
This story is woven with layers that make it absolutely riveting. The intricate web of relationships, buried secrets, and betrayals creates a fascinating tapestry that had me on the edge of my seat. To say I was pulled in is an understatementβthe story completely consumed me.
The world-building is a marvel on its own, with a unique magic system, intriguing alchemical elements, and lore tied to banished gods. The cast of characters all play important roles to the story and I especially loved Lyra, Thalia, Rocco, and Kane.
*Vice and Void* has it all, from its βitβs always been youβ love story to the kind of gut-wrenching emotions that had me in tears. It ends on a cliffhanger that leaves things unresolved, and I am absolutely dying for the next book. I canβt recommend this one enough to lovers of urban fantasyβitβs unforgettable.
This is a very gripping read, heavy on the romance light on the fantasy but enough to keep the intrigue going. Spicy, motorbike gang with a touch of magic and second chance romance. I'd definitely recommend.
This was a strong start to the Savage Wolves Brotherhood series, it was everything that I wanted from this type of book. The characters were everything that I was looking for and enjoyed the way it worked with the fantasy element. I thought the idea of using occult science was a unique take and enjoyed what I read.
I received a free ARC for this review.
Really enjoyed this! I was a huge fan of βSons of Anarchyβ, and the similarities are definitely plentiful, but not in a rip-off kind of way. Let me also say, Iβm a 40 year old, straight dude that loves these fantasy books. I donβt care for the spice, but a lot of these books have really entertaining plotsβ¦this is one of those books!
Dakota Montgomery is an alchemist in training, who also has ties to a motorcycle club, and their second-in-command, Callum Reynolds. They share a heavy past, and the events towards the beginning of the book bring them crashing back together.
Iβve never been a huge fan of magic/fantasy stuff in a modern setting, but it works so well here. The distills that are made are used for various thingsβ¦blood replenishment, pain relief, and euphoria. Brewing these on your own is highly illegal, so of course our main character just has to dabble in that!
This book does end on a major cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to read more about these characters and their world!

You know when you see a book, read the synopsis and you think, yeah this sounds good but I doubt it will change my life...πͺπ₯π’π‘π. Sometimes you don't think π’π―πΊπ΅π©πͺπ―π¨ can bring you out of a reading slump, and then something entirely out of left field catches your eye that completely changes the game, and that you desperately needed.
This book is described as Sons of Anarchy meets Fantasy Romance, and it absolutely πΈπ°π³π¬π΄. This book gave a well thought out story where every single word is purposeful, with deep and complex characters that you only want to keep learning about, and a fresh new take on magic that is so interesting that you feel you could read a whole book just on it. Oh, and hot badass motorcycle dudes with guns.
Dakota and Callum. We found ourselves yelling "just freaking KISS already!" any time these two were in each other's presence. Their chemistry was radically hot. Like ππΌππ. After 12 years apart, tensions have built and walls have to come down, but boy when they do π₯΅
Sadie babe, we've already bugged you enough but THANK YOU for writing this and we're sorry but, we are yours now, you can't get rid of us...especially after that π€ππͺπ§π§π©π’π―π¨π¦π³ π«Άπ
Thank you NetGalley for the early ARC of this!

Thank you to author and publisher for the arc!
This was my first book by this author and oh my god will I be reading more from her asap. This book was so well written, I finished this in two days! I was just blazing through it and before I knew it I was up at 3 am giggling and kicking my feet.
Iβm a sucker for anything with motorcycle gangs and this just delivered everything I love and more.
Be sure to check the TWβs before reading this book as some things could be triggering for some.
This was such a good beginning to the Savage Wolves series.
There were so many twists throughout the story, thereβs a lot to learn on the way about Vitals, Veils and Voids, the marks they show and the powers they have.
Dakota is a fantastic FMC, sheβs been through A LOT in the twelve years since she last saw Callum, and during the progress of the book. Callum and Dakota feel like fated mates - although this isnβt referenced in the story - theyβre drawn to each other and when they come together sparks fly.
There are so many tropes within this story:
Enemies to lovers (kinda)
Second chance
Found family
Touch her and d*e
Love after loss
I really enjoyed the MC fantasy vibe, itβs an unusual mix in the fantasy world but itβs done so well.
The ending though⦠I need book 2 NOW
