I enjoyed this book! I loved the setting and the mystical feel the author managed to weave in. I also really like the writing style, and Olivia, the main character, showed a lot of growth throughout the book. I do think certain parts were a bit unbelievable and some of the characters needed to be fleshed out a little more. The secondary characters especially seemed a bit one dimensional at times, and often said or did very predictable things. However, overall, this was a pretty good read and while I wasn't thrilled with the ending, I'm happy with how most things wrapped up (I really enjoy reading standalones - no having to wait for a sequel!).

I did not have a chance to read and review this title before the release date however it is still on my to be read list and I look forward to reading it in the future.
