Another book that I loved, recently I have read some really good books and that makes me sooo happy.

Main Characters: Jessa and Ethan; these two bicker so much and it is sooo funny and now they have agreed to get along for his sister's wedding (Ellie). Jessa is Ellie's best friend.
Jessa is gonna be the last single member of her friend group, the Solo Sisters.
As wedding festivities unfold, Jessa finds herself constantly paired with Ethan. The more that they are together the more feelings start mixing and they realize why they have always fought to keep length from each other bc if not.....
You gotta read the book to find out. It is so much fun seeing all their adventures and wedding plans going on in this story.
I guess this book has the trope of enemies to lovers with the best friend's brother trope added as well as a touch of forced matchmaking.
I really like all the characters and their schemes, it was so fun to see it all play out.
Such a good book, another must-read choice from me!!!

I absolutely loved this book! It was such a delightful read that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The funny banter between the main characters had me giggling multiple times! It beautifully explores themes of love, forgiveness, and how love can surprise us in the most unexpected ways. Such a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Just okay for me. I felt like it was kind of just fluff a lot of the time. I felt like it needed to be longer and give me more about who Jessa and Ethan were. I also felt like the (spoiler alter) mom thing came out of nowhere.

This is not your typical enemy to lovers trope. Jessa and Ethan have known each other since childhood. Their playful bickering puts a damper on a deeper relationship.

Ethan is a bright, light shining happiness on everyone. He loves his sister unconditionally. Jessa is struggling. It seems a lot of people abandon her, and she doesn't know why. I love the community that Ellie and Ethan are surrounded by. All of their friends surround them with love and compassion.

I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author/publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If I had to pick a song that embodied this book, it would have to be "Best Friend's Brother" from Victorious (that's a little on the nose, but I just couldn't help it). A classic he-fell-first, enemies-to-lovers, they both fell hard type of book, The Wedding Truce was an absolute delight to read!

I read it so fast, I simply couldn't put my copy down. The tornado scene had the perfect amount of scary-to-cute in how it was written. And the constant "will-they-or-won't-they" made me keep rooting for the main characters, Ethan and Jessa, until I started screaming "Just get together already!!"

How Krista balanced the movement from friends to friendlier was simply too cute! This will easily be going down as one of my favorite little-spice (she is a closed-door romance!) happy feel good books that I will want to read over and over again to see that happy ending.

And if you saw me on the NJ Transit train last night coming from NYC, where I audibly gasped at the little twist in the last couple chapters and then frantically looked around to see if anyone heard and proceeded to make direct eye contact with not one, not two, but 5 different people...no you didn't😅

Cute, quick, fun read. I hadn't read the rest of the series, but I felt like I was able to keep up with the story.

What a fun and entertaining grumpy/sunshine, enemies to more, fun and flirty read. Great character development and there was so much going on during all the wedding festivities that made the storyline exciting and interesting.. It has friendship, family and love. This was a very sweet story with wonderful dialog and so many hilarious moments and scenes. A very entertaining, sweet, wholesome romance with a great ending.

Thank you Net Galley for the opportunity to receive this arc and review it!

Overall this book was good, and I would give this book a 2 star review. Jessalyn (Jessa) and Ethan can’t seem to get along to save their life, but when paired together for the wedding of Ethan’s sister who is also Jessa’s best friend only time will tell if the two will survive.
This book contains such a sweet story between Jessa and Ethan, and I loved the dual pov of this book, as it gives the reader such great perspective into both characters. I did not realize going into this book that it was faith based, however I believe the character's faith is weaved into this story very well! This was a really sweet book, however in some cases I did feel like the events were too forced. I feel the story could have been expanded much more and the events would have flowed better. While reading I felt the characters would solve one issue and then be put into another situation. The larger events were just too back to back for me.

Tropes:
- Dual POV
- He’s Sunshine, She’s Grumpy
- Her Best Friend’s Brother
- Forced Proximity
- He Fell First

A sweet and simple contemporary romance but overall it just didn’t do much for me. There were so many big events that all felt really disconnected. I felt like I was looking for something more throughout the entire book but it was very surface level. Very PG with religious aspects that I was not expecting which could throw some people off.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book.

In this charming, opposites-attract romance, Jessa Landry is bracing herself to be the last single friend as she watches her best friend get married. Determined to make the wedding perfect, she vows to tolerate her least favorite person—Ellie’s annoyingly upbeat brother, Ethan. But as they spend more time together, their infamous bickering gives way to a deeper connection that surprises them both. Jessa’s tough exterior hides old wounds, but Ethan might be just the person to show her that love is worth the risk. This heartwarming story is a funny, touching journey of breaking down walls and finding unexpected love.

I don't know how this book fell into my to-be-read pile. It's not my typical novel. I would describe it as a cute, conservative romance novel. The main character Jessa is a bridesmaid in the wedding of one of her three close friend's weddings. She is matched up with the bride's younger brother, whom she has known basically all of her life. He is in love with her, but has kept his feelings hidden. Their relationship is one of annoying each other and bickering. It's a cute book, but I could tell where it was going. It's definitely not a spicy romance and a bit too emotional for me. That said, some may really like it. There is no cursing or sex in the book.

I was given an ARC of this book for my honest opinion.

This was a cute and simple romcom. It's a little traditional and kind of generic as well. I like the cover, but advertising should be how this differs all the other books like it

What a sweet and emotional enemies to more, unrequited love, reverse grumpy sunshine, best friend’s brother romance! So many fun tropes and they work so well together!

The Wedding Truce is book four in the Love in Abbottsville series. You can jump in and enjoy it as a stand alone novel, but it is fun to get to know all of the characters throughout the previous stories, as well. Jessa and Ethan make appearances in all of the first three novels. I still need to go back and read book two, and I plan to do that soon. This is a series that I have enjoyed immensely.

This was a really fun Best Friend's Sibling and Enemies to More story that kept me laughing, smiling, swooning and cheering Jessa and Ethan on. I loved that they were also childhood friends and the history that they had. It was so fun watching how that added to their witty banter and the feelings they had for each other, sometimes not the happiest!

I loved how this one opened. Very sneaky family members plotting for Ethan's sister, Ellie's wedding. Ellie and Jessa have been the best of friends, along with some other Soul Sisters. I loved the dynamics of their friendships! It made me think of my own dear bestie friends and the joy they bring into my life.

Jessa and Ethan have to promise to behave for Ellie's wedding. Time to hold their fighting back for just a few days, then all bets are off. But I loved watching the longing and unexpressed true emotions kept coming to the surface. And when they are finally revealed...oh my!!! Watch out for that first kiss!!! *Happy Sigh*

There are some heartbreaks from the past, not necessarily from previous boyfriends/girlfriends. There are some emotions and sorrows that were hard for the characters but I loved watching how that drew them closer together.

Content: Clean. Some kisses but nothing further. Talk of death but nothing graphic.

I received a copy from Victory Editing NetGalley Co-Op, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

This book hit all the right notes for a feel-good romcom with all my favorite tropes! Set in the adorable backdrop of a wedding, The Wedding Truce serves up a delightful mix of reverse grumpy-sunshine and opposites-attract goodness. Jessa and Ethan are the perfect grump and sunshine duo, bickering yet finding themselves unable to stay away from each other as the festivities unfold.

Jessa’s the last “Solo Sister” standing, reluctantly paired with cheerful Ethan, who’s determined to get under her skin — in the best way possible! Noorman captures the awkward sweetness and sizzling tension so well, especially as Jessa’s walls start to crumble. Their shared moments are heartwarming and hilarious, and even without the spice, this closed-door romance is packed with chemistry.

If you’re looking for a cozy romcom with a healthy dose of wedding shenanigans, this fourth book in the series is worth every one of its 4.5 stars!

Thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing Co-Op for the opportunity to receive the ARC.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this arc!!

What a good book! I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I loved the main characters! They had great chemistry and worked so well together. I loved how the book just flowed. My first by this author but will not be my last!!!

This was a fun read. The grumpy/sunshine trope seems to be very popular right now and this one has the female main character as the grump. This is part of a series but is easily read as a stand-alone without any difficulty. It is a clean read with likeable characters and good pacing. I enjoy this author’s writing style and I recommend this book.

Krista Noorman is a new-to-me author but I have now added her to my must-read list. The characters had a lot in common and had a good spark and connection. This is a fun clean romance. It read fine as a stand alone but I look forward to reading other stories with the characters.

A sweet closed-door romance with childhood friends (who like to argue and pick on each other) who need to get along for a wedding. Found family vibes, which always love. The final book in the series. I’ll have to go back and read the first 3 books!

Thanks to @netgalley for this book in exchange for my honest review. The Wedding Truce is out now!

The Wedding Truce is the 4th book in the series and like the others did not disappoint. In this story we have Jessa and Ethan! These two seem to always fight when they are together. Ethan has loved Jessa forever while Jessa is a girl that doesn't really do love after her mother left and her ex dumped her. While these two are paired up for a wedding, Jessa starts to see a different side of Ethan and her feelings start to grow.
This a cute, no spice, heart warming story. Krista Noorman always does such a great job.
