**Review of *Wartime Arrivals at Harbour House* by Fenella J. Miller**
Set against the backdrop of London in July 1939, this novel follows Elizabeth Roby as her comfortable life is upended by the onset of World War II. Forced to relocate to the coastal town of Wivenhoe, Elizabeth grapples with her new reality while her husband, Jonathon, serves at the shipyards. Miller’s storytelling weaves themes of resilience, family, and the challenges of adapting to change in uncertain times. The rich historical context and engaging characters make this a compelling read for fans of wartime sagas

A lovely gentle easy read just what i needed after an awful lot of thrillers.
Well written characters and although not that much happened i still found it enjoyable.
My only complaint was the very abrupt ending.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.
