Growing up with parents who owned AMC cars they will always have a special place in my heart so, thank you to the writers for taking us down memory lane one more time.

This book offers wonderful photos and information for young or old car enthusiasts to explore. It's also great for anyone researching America's car heritage. We have a great motor heritage, but it's too bad people don't support it.

This book covers from the smallest AMC car to its classic muscle cars. Yep, I'm so glad they covered the muscle cars of this era and company. Most people think about AMC cars, the Gremlin or the Pacer but, AMC also had muscle, such as AMX and Javelin.

I read this book because among the first cars I recall my family having were American Motors Ramblers, so I always felt connected to that brand. And I knew that American Motors eventually stopped operating but the interim period was more or less a black box to me.The book filled in all the business details crystal-clearly. And the photos of the cars are excellent, bringing back many memories. However, I frequently got lost in the minutiae about the cars: options, horsepower, dimensions etc. And the section on racing was of absolutely no interest to me. However the book did a great job of answering all my business questions, for which I rated it four stars. Thank you to Netgalley and Motorbooks for the digital review copy.

If you are a lover of AMC cars then this book is for you. A perfect coffee table book that details every model of AMC cars starting from 1954 up to 1988 and a epilogue that discusses American Motors Today. Book is organized by time period and then within each section the models that were available in that time period. Each car includes pictures, history and specs. This is a great compitlation of all these great cars.

AMC Cars remind me of interesting times, and when I see them on the road, in real life, they bring me excitement.
This book is a great resource for car enthusiasts. If you love Jeep, here is a cool book with great information and photos. I am considering it as a gift idea for some of my loved ones.
