Alexander Darwin has another hit on his hands with this one. Brilliant writing style, a captivating plot and characters who you will love, hate and want to protect all at the same time.

It was a solid conclusion to the trilogy. I read the first two books last year so I needed a little moment to get back into the universe, but once it was done I had a great time reading this. There’s something quite huge that happened at almost a random moment and I didn’t understand it, but otherwise I got what I wanted from this third and final book. And the epilogue was quite sweet, despite the dark tones of the book. I liked it — and I have a reputation for being an epilogue hater.
