Be Resilient, Be You is a brilliant book for teens who want to get a better grip on their thoughts and emotions. The layout is clean and easy to follow, with engaging graphics that really speak to a teen audience, making it feel fresh and engaging.
What I love about this book is its focus on helping teens take control of their own thinking. It shows how you can change your mindset to feel better and deal with challenges in a more positive way. The activities are practical and simple, encouraging teens to reflect on their own thoughts and build resilience in everyday life.
With short, manageable sections, it’s perfect for teens who want something that’s not overwhelming. It's straightforward, helpful, and empowering without feeling preachy or patronising. A great read for anyone looking to build confidence and cope with the ups and downs of being a teen. Definitely recommend it!

Eloquently it show the reader how to recognise strengths, deal with problems, navigate pressures and understand the science behind strategies that work. This was a good book for teens. I work with teens and feel it is a good informative read for them and also for adults who want a better understanding. Being resilient is a must for dealing with life, and this book supports teens to build resilience.

I was not the target market for this title, but I thought this was a great read. Very readable, split into bitesize pieces of advice which were supported by scientific explanations. I book marked lots of different areas that I want my teenager to review. I would love her to read to the whole title but am, sadly, not sure that she would! It’s not an issue with the book but her reticence to accept help!!
I would definitely have a copy on the shelf for teenagers to browse and recommend reading it as the adult in the relationship and fold down the corner of appropriate sections which they might flick to!
I read an electronic version, but would prefer a printed version that is easy to pick up and put down.
Lots of great advice to take on board here - highly recommend!

Not sure how to review this book, as I am not the target audience. Myself, I found it read more like a rather dull text book and I can't say that I'd have found it very helpful as a teenager. I think something more upbeat, with more actual case studies teenagers can identify with, would be much better. So, I've given three stars to be fair.

As a mother of a pre-teen, I found this book relevant, preparatory and well-written.
Even moreso for the young people because it is written with them in mind, in all the ways they could appreciate the advice and insights offered.
