Absolutely loved this anthology of short stories! Caught myself laughing out loud with a few of them.
The balance of dark humour and irony is written with perfection.
The faint line between pleasure and pain really made me question my own life and all the choices I've made so far.
A great read, through and through! Will I recommend this book? To whoever wants a fun short read to feed into their wicked desires? Heck yes!
Alright, brace yourself—Death by Orgasm is one wild, steamy, and darkly hilarious trip! These stories hit that perfect mix of spicy and sinister, where every hot moment could take a deadly turn. Each tale left me wondering just how far the characters would go, and let’s just say, Medusa doesn’t hold back! If you’re up for erotic twists with a wicked sense of humor, grab this book and enjoy the ride…but don’t say I didn’t warn you! 😉🔥
A quick and easy read with comedic undertones. I laughed out loud to some of the essays/short stories.
It reminds me of the show called “1,000 Ways to D!e”. I told some friends about it that have the same interests I do and that I felt would enjoy a light read.

Twisted tales. A couple of pages each. You'd have to be in the correct headspace to read them for what they are. I think the author let loose with their imagination and went for it! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
I thought I'd try this to read something different, but it was just a bit weird.
Not my type of genre, not erotic at all, just bizarre.
I guess this is a type of genre that has it's own fans, so I'm sure it's a great book for big fans, it just didn't do anything for me, and if anything, turned me off.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
For a short series of essays this book is dark and hilarious. Not at all sexy but inventive ways for an author to think of death.
Thanks NetGalley for this weird book to read and review.
The title explains exactly what kind of stories you will be reading in Death by Orgasm. It is a collection of short stories where one or more people end up dead due to the pursuit of a good "o." It is a very short novella, overall, but I found myself laughing at the dark humor multiple times.
Thanks to Baroque Medusa and NetGalley for an eARC of this novella for an honest review.
Well I was not expecting this too be as good as it was. Loved how quick it was to read. Found it very entertaining and will certainly be recommending it I will also be careful on my own future endeavours.
If you watched the show 1,000 Ways To Die many years ago, you will find this entertaining. This collection had the same feel as that show with one main connecting theme, orgasms!
Thanks a lot to Netgalley and the author for accepting my request for this book.
The amount of erotica varies according to each story, finding some more of my liking than others, but overall, all of them are enjoyable and even funny up to a point, since in some the causes of death are just absurd events not necessarily related to the sex but happening while performing the act, which made those stories quite funny.
The writing is simple and fast-paced making all the short stories really comprehensive.
If you like short stories, erotica and the absurdity of some daily situations, this compilation is for you.
“Bad girl. You did not listen. Now you must be punished.” 🖤
I stumbled upon this title while browsing Netgalley and as someone who loves a good novella, I couldn’t resist the curiosity. Death by Orgasm is a collection of short stories where desire often meets death. I found it super interesting and enticing because I’ve never seen the idea written before. At times I couldn’t stop giggling, and others I was like okay well that was hot. If you also have dark humor and have ever thought about orgasming until you die, or death by BBL — this may be for you. Yes, you read that right. No, I won’t spoil it. And yes, I haven’t stopped laughing yet. Baroque Medusa wrote something so wildly different from anything else I’ve read that I couldn’t manage to put this novella down and read the entire thing in one single sitting.
Thank you so much Baroque Medusa and Netgalley for a fun, erotic, dark novella just in time for Halloween. I haven’t managed to stop giggling and I know I have friends just as demented as me that will love this.
