I don’t usually gravitate towards the friends to lovers trope but I enjoyed Unsteady so much and loved Peyton’s writing so immediately requested this when it became available and I’m so glad I did, it was absolute PERFECTION. It exceeded all of my expectations both Ro and Freddy are such genuine and likeable characters apart but even better together. There’s so much depth to the story, both characters are dealing with some pretty intense personal problems, but it’s so sweet how supportive they are of each other. This is a slow burn so prepare yourself, but seeing their relationship unfold makes it so much more special and worth the wait! Peyton writes so beautifully and I can’t decide who I want to read about more, Toren or Bennet, but whoever is next, I can’t wait!

Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the digital arc!

oh i loved this so bad!! even more than unsteady i have to admit, i am a SUCKER for the tutor and tutee trope. ro and matt are just soulmates honestly, and their slow burn meant like everything to me!!! the depth and development throughout the book was really well written in my opinion, and it's always amazing to have representation, as an adhd person myself.

i don't read romance that often, because i like to leave it as a little treat sometimes, and this was more than a little treat! i managed to read it in 2 days which is impressive for me as i'm usually a chronic procrastinator, but i couldn't put it down because i was enjoying it so much, and needed to know what was going to happen next.

such a cute book, and i know ive said it already but god i love ro and matt sooooo much, they're the sweetest. can't wait to see what peyton has for us next in the undone universe, i know whatever it is, i'll be reading it!!

From "I think you'd be really easy to love." to "I think falling in love with you is the easiest thing I've ever done."

Peyton has done is again, she has delivered us with the most heart-wrenching, beautiful romance story that I won't be forgetting anytime soon.

This book was truly a rollercoaster of emotions, just like Unsteady (book 1 in The Undone series). Our MMC, Matty, has dyslexia and dyscalculia, which is portrayed SO incredibly well. He doesn't shy away from the fact that he struggles with his school work, and instead tries his hardest to be the best version of himself, despite being ridiculed by old tutors and being failed by the education system. Our FMC, Ro, is one of the most loveable characters ever. She is simply so kind and wholesome, that I'd love to be best friends with her, because I just know she'd encourage you to be yourself no matter what anyone says. Her growth is a beauty to watch, and seeing her come out of her shell after being in an emotionally abusive relationship is so heart-warming. Peyton constantly challenges society by including real life issues within her books, and showing us that you can thrive no matter what, and that you shouldn't feel guilty for how you express yourself.

You just know it's going to be a good book when you love both characters SO much. Their chemistry together is so enjoyable to read, and I loved watching the storyline of Unsteady unfold behind the scenes, with old characters making a reappearance in Unloved.

If you love challenging societal norms, mental health and learning disability representation, friends to lovers, tutor x student, hopeless romantic x party playboy, you'll absolutely LOVE Unloved by Peyton Corinne!

Matty & Ro were perfect, they were so careful with each other, healed one another, and brought out the best in both of them.

I could relate to both MMC’s and Peyton writes with so much depth into these characters I felt every emotion, had butterflies and swooned, felt my heart break and their struggles, and felt so happy for their progression where they put each other’s hearts back together piece by piece, they loved hard but were soft to each other. This book and these characters have my heart 🥹

The side characters also have me intrigued for whoever’s story is next, so excited for more to come from this author!

I don't think I've ever loved a couple in a book more than this. I adore Matt and Ro. They are two broken individuals that have been treated horribly in their lives, and to see their friendship and relationship develop while they begin to heal felt so beautiful and precious.
The story itself at times felt a little confusing to me as I felt like I was missing out on some knowledge, but the overall arc of our main character's relationship really blew me away with how raw and deeply touching it was.
I think I will carry this one in my heart for some time to come.

Thank you so much to Simon and Schuster UK for this ARC via NetGalley, and for giving me the opportunity to share my honest thoughts on this book.

First of all, I would like to thank Peyton Corinne for writing this book.
Then, I would like to thank the publisher and NetGalley for giving me an arc.

If you would like to read a short review, then I would say that this book was so beautiful and emotional, and it was really everything, and everyone should read it.
It came to me at the perfect time; after 5 long months of not really reading romance books, I finally had the chance to read it. And the cherry on top: I got to start it on Sadie Gray (Brown)'s birthday, and I got to finish it on the original release day of the first book. So if you don't believe in destiny, can you tell me what this is?

But if you would ask me on a deeper level, I would say this, and prepare yourself because it is basically a love letter to Peyton:
A little less than a year ago, I was watching TikToks, as everyone does, and I came across this video about the hockey golden boy having a panic attack in front of a grumpy figure skater. And I knew back then that that book was for me. It was written for me, and I have to read that, so less than two weeks after its release, I read Unsteady. And as you probably can tell, I was completely obsessed with it. And in that book, I met a girl named Aurora. Do you remember her? Cause I do. I fell in love with her right away, the sweet best friend of our beloved black cat figure skater, who loves reading romance books, just like I do. And Freddy, the boy who makes everyone smile. Now, Rora changed her name to Rosalie (Ro), but we finally got her story. Their story. And just like I said earlier, it was everything and more. Two souls longing to be loved, to be understood, to be seen, drawn to each other like magnets. We got romance, we got love, we got hockey... What else do you want? Go, read it!

Unloved is a heartfelt story about grief, healing from the past, and learning to see your worth. Freddy is dealing with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD, and a tough past has left him with a pretty low opinion of himself. Meanwhile, Ro is stuck in an emotionally abusive, on-again, off-again relationship that has made her doubt what real love should look like. When Freddy and Ro come into each other’s lives, they slowly help each other see their true value, beyond what anyone else thinks of them.

Unloved is a slow-burn romance that takes time but feels all the more genuine. If you're looking for sports romance with a lot of heart and emotional depth, Unloved is one you won’t want to miss.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review

If you thought Unsteady was great, just you wait until you finish Unloved.

The heartache and the angst was ever felt and so heartbreaking.

Ro and Freddy were the sweetest little nuggets to live. They truly needed each other and to be loved by the other.

It was such a slow burn to the heat, but it truly burned once the match lit.

Thank you Simon & Schuster Uk + Netgalley for an eARC.

I think this may be one of my all time favourite hockey romances. Matt and Ro made my heart ache (in a good way) and they way that their relationship gradually evolved was beautiful to read. I am very excited for the next book in this series <3

Absolutely loved the first book and I am so excited for this sequel for another great sports related love story. I love how the characters each have their own struggles to deal with and how they help each other overcome them.
