Fantastic book! Loved this series so much! Amazing world building and characters that are real and flawed, but also exciting!

I have no idea why I left it so long to continue this series but time just flies. Now having read this, and The Song Rising back to back I am kicking myself but also glad I didn't have to wait so long between instalments because this is so compelling. The wait now for the rest of the series is going to be so painful! The writing is so good and the characters so well rounded and loveable or loathsome!

I didn’t finish this one, mostly my own fault I didn’t remember enough of book one to enjoy it properly

After reading The Bone Season, I'm unsure of whether to continue with The Mime Order. I enjoyed it but found it confusing. Also knowing that quite a few sequels are planned, it stops me from wanting to continue with an unfinished series. Perhaps in the future I will wish to read and review this book.
