London-based critic, comedian, musician and author Marc Burrows here gives us an in-depth, blow by blow account of Kurt Cobain's Seattle three-piece. Introduced by John Robb and with cover art from Andrea C. White, the book lives up to its title - A Detailed Guide To The Band That Changed Everything. This is one for music and Nirvana nerds which I found particularly satisfiying on the birth of the band, where Burrows provides us with useful little geographical details which highlight the member's dedication to their music.
NIrvana are a bunch of screaming paradoxes wrapped up in love and this hyper-detailed biography illustates that perfectly. Fans will find plenty to mull over here and even those with a passing interest in the 80's-90's-00's music scene in the UK and USA will find much food for thought.
