This seems like a great premise to start with, and an interesting story. I just did not finish the book. I wanted to very much, but i just found it difficult to read. It has good development, but the sentences seem to run on a lot. That is just something that makes it difficult for me to read. It is not a bad stpry at all, just needs a little more editing. The writer will no doubt write many great stories.

This was a great overall story in the what if genre of the historical fiction novel. I was invested in how Russia would be different if the Romanovs survived. The characters worked well in this genre and storyline. I was engaged with what was happening and hooked from the first page. Margherita Selicato has a strong writing style and left me wanting more.
