Oh My God this is amaaaaaazing, at first I was a little standosffish with the male main character cause of his past and all that but then as I got to know him and also got more interested in the story I realized how much I liked it and got to understand him more too. It’s also a spicy 🌶️ one so yeah i definitely recommend it!

(Gripping, Steamy, and Unforgettable!)

Night Shift by Evie James and Craig Richards is an addictive, sizzling workplace romance with a perfect balance of suspense, steam, and emotional depth. From the very first page, I was hooked!

Atticus Thorin, a brooding, burned-out ER doctor nearing 40, has built walls around his heart. Enter Samantha Sheridan, a fiery, quick-witted nurse who challenges him from the moment they meet. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, and the tension is off the charts. But when Samantha’s past comes back to haunt her, Atticus’s protective instincts are triggered, forcing him to confront his own demons. Samantha is a force to be reckoned with—strong, independent, and unafraid to call out Atticus on his icy demeanor.

The romance is a slow burn, but the emotional payoff is huge. Atticus’s transformation from a cold, emotionally detached doctor to a man willing to break down his walls for Samantha is both heartbreaking and beautiful. The suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the steamy chemistry between Atticus and Samantha will leave you breathless.

With a grumpy/sunshine dynamic, an age-gap romance, and plenty of heart-pounding moments, Night Shift is a must-read for fans of dark, emotional, and suspenseful romances. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for more in this series!

I requested Night Shift on NetGalley because the blurb sounded really good. Unfortunately I didn’t like the book too much. In my opinion, the main characters were both annoying and childish; the side characters were much more loveable.
The story development wasn’t very good either and it’s unclear when the characters fell in love with each other.
The story wasn’t very logical either, so for me it was disappointing.

Grumpy, unavailable doctor comes head to head with independent, unavailable, much younger nurse, both with plenty of baggage and sizzling attraction they want to ignore. Secrets and miscommunication as they fight the heat, and even interference by the bratva. Lots of spice, and you may want to slap Sam, but a quick read.
