VIZ Media provided an early galley for review.

I have become a big fan of the Twisted-Wonderland mangas over the past few years. So, I am onboard for more misadventures from this crew.

Just like last volume, this one starts out with several gorgeous full-page, full-color character portraits. One by Izumi Tsubaki features a Cruella DeVil inspired Professor Crewel while Yomi Sarachi gives us a pair that rolled right out of Hades' underworld and Domino Ozaki provides a pair who take after Malificent.

As for the dozen stories here, there were several that I enjoyed. yutaka served up a fun escapade with a theme on the benefits of cooperation. Sakura Fujimoto gave us a trip to the Diasomni Dorm (the one where Malificent serves as the model). The artwork throughout was solid and very complimentary to that of the original series volumes.

What is nice about these one-off tales is that the reader is getting glimpses into more of the world and is seeing the dynamics of relationships that are forming between older characters and new ones. There were a couple that had overlapping elements (like those relating to food preparation/serving or a dance competition between dorms) that helped form a bit of a cohesive narrative mosaic across the stories.
