The Monsters We Are is the satisfying conclusion to this trilogy with our main characters of Wynter and Cain centre stage in all the action.
With scenes full of gory violence but also passion and friendship the battle between the Ancient’s and the Aeons continues and reaches an awesome conclusion.
There are many characters in this book food and downright evil and at times a little confusing though they all come together in the end as each individuals bravery and fortitude excelled to overcome evil.
A great series that is throughly enjoyable
My thanks to net galley and publisher for the opportunity to review this book honestly.

Great continuation of Wynter and the Ancients story!

Such an amazing conclusion to Wynter and Caines main story! I truly love this world Suzanne created, it has it all, gods, goddesses, witches, shifters, magic, suspense, amazing storyline, romance, etc.

Cain and the Ancients finally have a plan, a plan that will only work if certain criteria’s are made! As they all work together to free themselves from their prison, Kali is having her own plan for Wynter, the big question is how do they align with the Ancients mission.

Kalis plan slowly unveils as well as secrets the Aeons have been hiding. This book is full of surprises!

I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for an amazing world building, great story, witches, magic and a ton of steam! I truly hope Suzanne is planning on extending this series and writing about the other Ancients. I truly can’t get enough!

The end of Cain & Wynter's trilogy 😭😭😭😭😭 but also 😍😍😍.

Adam gets his comeuppance FINALLY!!!!
There are twists and turns in this that I didn't see coming. Does one of the Aeons (Eve, or the twins) betray Cain and the Ancients? Who's calling to Wynter from Cain's garden? What are Kali's plans for Wynter? Will the Ancients escape their cage or be stuck there forever?

Suzanne knocked this one out of the park and wrapped all my questions. It has the spice and soul stroking 🌶🌶🌶🥵🥵 that we LOVE from Cain and the banter and shenanigans that make us roll with laughter from the Bloodrose Coven.

I can't wait for more out of the Devils Cradle crew.

Vivid characters and wonderful storyline and writing- a perfect end to the series! I also am a huge fan of the intricate book covers.

Such a fantastic book, the perfect end to the trilogy, although I am sad to say goodbye. I’m kinda hoping and greedy we may get more from the world. I am a Massie Suzanne Wright fan and I’m always here for anything she writes, so I’m not unbiased in anyway, but this is the reason why I love her so much, this trilogy, the dark in you series, she is the Queen of fantasy romance, long may she reign

I will never not be excited to read a Suzanne Wright book especially when it includes Cain and Wynter.

These books are always such a perfect mix of fantasy, power, feminine rage and SPICE. The plot lacks no detail which I love, it’s dark and yes, it has spice BUT this is never the focus of the story it just happens to be an added bonus.

I enjoyed the new additional characters we got this book and the way they expanded the story. The battle was immense and strategic as always. I know this is a trilogy, but I hope we get some spin off books or novellas.

Also, I’m a little confused by the epilogue. I won’t say why as I don’t want to ruin it, but huh???

This was such a gorgeous ending to the trilogy (although I will add a similar sentiment as other readers - please can we have more!).
So much about this is great, but I really just want to highlight my love for Cain and Wynter. I love them both as individual characters, but they have to be one of my favourite couples!

Thank you so much to Little Brown Book Group UK for the arc via NetGalley and for giving me the opportunity to share my honest thoughts on the book.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book. A gorgeous 4 star read book from me. What an exciting plot, vivid storytelling and relatable, rich characters. I could put this book down – absolutely loved it.

The relationship with wynter and cain deepens and you start to see him come out and see her coven as people too.
I love her covens witty banter and how much she worries about them.
The epilogue gave a good send off by giving us a glimpse of after the war.
And we finally find out what her monster is in an epic way and she is just herself with him no matter him liking it or not.

What a fantastic end to this wonderful trilogy!

I haven’t come across a Suzanne Wright book which I don’t love and this book is no exception.

The blood Rose coven maybe some of my favourite Suzanne characters! I laughed out loud on several occasions!

This book really completed the story for me and answered all of my questions from the previous books, I can only hope there might be a spin off series as I loved these books so much.

The last book in Cain and Wynter's story was perfect!

Cain, the male that you are. Knowing him and Wynter was a pleasure. His growth from the first book until the end of this one was beautiful and how their relationship grew and evolved, accepting each other, secrets or no secrets, crazy coven, curses, enemies... They were each other ride or die, and it was so so so beautiful to witness. I loved to see his relationship with Wynter's coven a little more, and how he reacted when Wynter was threatened. And that ending! I think you can tell from my running commentary while reading, I WAS going through it. This man, perfection. I'm not wishing for one of my own cause I'm a scaredy cat and KNOW I couldn't handle him at all. Love him to pieces though!!

Wynter, my queen, my scary, slightly unhinged, fearless queen. You are everything an FMC should be. Never put her morals aside, accept Cain FULLY, do not fear communication (HEAVY on NEVER miscommunicating), do not forget about her coven, and help when needed. I could go on and on about how good of a character she is. Her trust and understanding of a being such as Cain only made this book better.

I can accept that I'm an easy girly to please. I most times could not care about the plot, because romance is everything to me, but this book almost made me skip 'romantic' scenes to get to the plot bit. I was HOOCKED. The pace was perfect, the amount of smut, the crazy interactions, the TWISTS, HELLO, the TWISTS were just... I simply have no words for how shocked I was, and how I did NOT see anything coming. I was wrong in multiple accounts and I couldn't be happier about it. I'll probably reread this one a couple more times before it comes out, but who can blame me?

Just a perfect book all around. I have not a single critique. Suzanne, you outdid yourself!

I DID get an ARC through NetGalley and I could not be more thankful!!!

I loved this book! I was extremely lucky and grateful to receive this as an arc and it was also my first ever arc so this was such a milestone for me!

I love the dynamic, it was full of fantasy and romance and I love Wynter!! Suzanne’s writing is so good and so easy to read I flew through it! Romantasy is my favourite genre and this book reminded me why!

Can I please be part of Wynter’s coven, I love them all! This spoke to my dark feminine witchy side!

I was fortunate enough to get to read this as an ARC read, I can not explain how grateful I am!

Suzanne has done it again, I don't know if this is the last book in the world (I hope not), but it was a fitting end months trilogy if so.

It had everything I wanted, I love the blooderose coven, and wish I could actually be friends with them, each one of them make me belly laugh, as usual, Wynter and Cain were perfect, I FINALLY got answers to all of my questions... Wynters monster is no joke.

And the battle scenes were epic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really really really wish I could give more than 5 stars for this book.
This has to be my favourite book from the series.
I was absolutely enthralled by it.
From page 1, I was gripped.
I could not put this book down. I kept promising my self “1 more chapter then I need sleep”. Did that happen, no of course not because things kept happening and I needed answers !!!
I needed to see where this was going, the twists and turns kept me hooked. I had no idea what was going to happen until it did !
If people read one series by Suzanne, make it this one !
I nearly woke my partner up by laughing at one scene.
“Playing catch” IYKYK 😉
This story played out so well.
I literally have not got a favourite part of the book because it all wraps up so well.
I just need to know if the rest of Wynter’s Coven are going to get a book now because that would be fantastic (pretty pretty please 🙏🤞🏻🙏)
