I love Suzanne Wright's writings and every time I pick up her books, I know I can count on an amazing world building, strong heroines and an intense romance (with steamy scenes). This new series wasn't an exception, and I'm so glad I got to journey with Wynter and Cain until their got their HEA.

After killing 3 out of the four powerful Aeon, it's time to face the last one, Adam. To do so, Cain though needs the power of his uncle, who has fallen asleep thousands of years ago. The Ancients need to break the barrier and attack the Aeons directly: a lot of preparations are involved, but not everyone seems to be on the same side. It's a bloody battle and lives are lost on both side.

Wynter and her coven fights alongside the Ancients, although the goddess Kali has her own plans, which she put in motion. It won't be long before Cain will find out what kind of revenant is.

I loved the actions, the continuous sparks between Wynter and Cain, and of course the cameo with the Dark in You characters. Am I making you curious? If so go read the book!

I hope we get to read more in the Devil's Cradle series, maybe about the coven's members stories? Just putting it out there for Suzanne ;)

A third and final book (even if I hope not !) of a series that I devoured too quickly !

When I received the email from Netgalley saying that I had an ARC, I SQUEALED with joy xD This book is one of the books that I was waiting for the most impatiently and I was therefore SUPER happy to have the chance to read it before everyone but also a little nostalgic because it was the last book ...

What I particularly liked :

- the main plot about the imprisonment of Cain and the others accelerates with significant advances and twists (OMG the reason why the city of the Aeons must not fall ! And the betrayals ...) that kept me in suspense until the last page !

- the universe still as interesting with the different biblical references but revisited with a touch of fantasy !

- the romance still as sexy and twisted but in a good way xD And I have to admit I really liked seeing them "settled" in their relationship =)

- this end !! And this epilogue with a little Easter egg <3

In short, the perfect conclusion of a sexy paranormal romance series full of twists !
I recommend it to fans of the author of course but also to fans of mythologies and dark and terribly sexy romance !

PS: I'D LOVE a book with Abaddon or his brother ! Or even with Azazel or Dandelion or Seth ...

This is the third book in the series and picks up where the prior book left off. Definitely a culmination of many conflicts while leaving room for future books. We get some satisfying action scenes, conclusion of some mysteries that have been building from prior books, and some people finally get what they deserve.
In this installment Wynter continues to be a badass, Cain is ruthless but gooey on the inside (just for her), and the Bloodrose coven has more comic antics. We even get a short segment from Azazel’s POV and I really hope we get a future story about him.
The book was really good and I expected nothing less from Suzanne Wright. We even get a surprise in the epilogue which made me smile. Great read!

I’m enchanted to say the least! For anyone craving a world of ancient magic, power struggles, and a romance that will set your heart on fire, this is a must-read. Suzanne Wright’s writing delivers all the heat, intrigue, and emotional depth you could want in a fantasy romance.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've thoroughly enjoyed this series, so to get to read the 3rd book in advance made me happy!

The story carries on from where the last book ended with Wynter and her Coven and Cain and the ancients still trapped in Devils cradle. Having taken out most of the key players from the Aeons, only Adam is left, and he is still determined to get his hands on Wynter to reverse her curse. We get not only external but also internal battles in this final instalment, a few twists and turns, and some surprises towards the end.

It's a great book if you want some spice and a story that isn't too deep but still with plenty of drama.

Thanks to Little Brown book group and netgalley for the arc of this book for my honest review.

This review has been posted on goodreads and will be posted on other platforms on release day.

The perfect end to a brilliant story.

It was so wonderful to be back with Cain and Wynter, and the coven. The epilogue was the perfect way to wrap their story in a neat bow.

I absolutely loved this trilogy and hope and pray there’s more to come!

I loved this book! What a fantastic end to the trilogy. It was great to be with Cain, Winter and the coven again and I hope there is more to come! Lots of surprises and laughs and final the answers to the questions we’ve been waiting for!

Hope to return to Devil’s Cradle again soon!!!

Absolutely adored this!
I’ve loved following Cain and Wynter for the last two books and this was no exception
The plot developed really well, I loved seeing how things came together and seeing Kalis plan for Wynter come into place
As usually the dynamic between Wynter and her cover was hilarious, I really want each of them to get their own book
I would also love to see more of the other ancients in their own stories as anytime I see Seth I want more
Cain and Wynter are always perfection and that little surprise at the end had me screaming!

Great ending ( but hopefully not a goodbye) to Cane and Wynter’s story. As a huge fan of anything Suzanne Wright publishes I was very excited to get the ARC of this book. While it can be read as a standalone I would definitely recommend the previous 2 books in the Devil’s Cradle series. This book is conclusion of the ongoing plot and while all (almost) of the questions have been answered there is of course still room for all of the amazing side characters to grow and get their own HEA.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
Thank you to Netgalley for is ARC.

I was so excited to see what happened next in this series and Larissa Ione went way above how good I expected it to be. I absolutely loved getting more information about Winter and Cain. I love their relationship with each other but also her coven and the other Ancients. This book was fabulous and I really hope she’ll write books for Winters Coven and the other Ancients. Well done!!

The Monsters We Are is the satisfying conclusion to this trilogy with our main characters of Wynter and Cain centre stage in all the action.
With scenes full of gory violence but also passion and friendship the battle between the Ancient’s and the Aeons continues and reaches an awesome conclusion.
There are many characters in this book food and downright evil and at times a little confusing though they all come together in the end as each individuals bravery and fortitude excelled to overcome evil.
A great series that is throughly enjoyable
My thanks to net galley and publisher for the opportunity to review this book honestly.

Great continuation of Wynter and the Ancients story!

Such an amazing conclusion to Wynter and Caines main story! I truly love this world Suzanne created, it has it all, gods, goddesses, witches, shifters, magic, suspense, amazing storyline, romance, etc.

Cain and the Ancients finally have a plan, a plan that will only work if certain criteria’s are made! As they all work together to free themselves from their prison, Kali is having her own plan for Wynter, the big question is how do they align with the Ancients mission.

Kalis plan slowly unveils as well as secrets the Aeons have been hiding. This book is full of surprises!

I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for an amazing world building, great story, witches, magic and a ton of steam! I truly hope Suzanne is planning on extending this series and writing about the other Ancients. I truly can’t get enough!

The end of Cain & Wynter's trilogy 😭😭😭😭😭 but also 😍😍😍.

Adam gets his comeuppance FINALLY!!!!
There are twists and turns in this that I didn't see coming. Does one of the Aeons (Eve, or the twins) betray Cain and the Ancients? Who's calling to Wynter from Cain's garden? What are Kali's plans for Wynter? Will the Ancients escape their cage or be stuck there forever?

Suzanne knocked this one out of the park and wrapped all my questions. It has the spice and soul stroking 🌶🌶🌶🥵🥵 that we LOVE from Cain and the banter and shenanigans that make us roll with laughter from the Bloodrose Coven.

I can't wait for more out of the Devils Cradle crew.

Vivid characters and wonderful storyline and writing- a perfect end to the series! I also am a huge fan of the intricate book covers.

Such a fantastic book, the perfect end to the trilogy, although I am sad to say goodbye. I’m kinda hoping and greedy we may get more from the world. I am a Massie Suzanne Wright fan and I’m always here for anything she writes, so I’m not unbiased in anyway, but this is the reason why I love her so much, this trilogy, the dark in you series, she is the Queen of fantasy romance, long may she reign

I will never not be excited to read a Suzanne Wright book especially when it includes Cain and Wynter.

These books are always such a perfect mix of fantasy, power, feminine rage and SPICE. The plot lacks no detail which I love, it’s dark and yes, it has spice BUT this is never the focus of the story it just happens to be an added bonus.

I enjoyed the new additional characters we got this book and the way they expanded the story. The battle was immense and strategic as always. I know this is a trilogy, but I hope we get some spin off books or novellas.

Also, I’m a little confused by the epilogue. I won’t say why as I don’t want to ruin it, but huh???

This was such a gorgeous ending to the trilogy (although I will add a similar sentiment as other readers - please can we have more!).
So much about this is great, but I really just want to highlight my love for Cain and Wynter. I love them both as individual characters, but they have to be one of my favourite couples!

Thank you so much to Little Brown Book Group UK for the arc via NetGalley and for giving me the opportunity to share my honest thoughts on the book.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book. A gorgeous 4 star read book from me. What an exciting plot, vivid storytelling and relatable, rich characters. I could put this book down – absolutely loved it.

The relationship with wynter and cain deepens and you start to see him come out and see her coven as people too.
I love her covens witty banter and how much she worries about them.
The epilogue gave a good send off by giving us a glimpse of after the war.
And we finally find out what her monster is in an epic way and she is just herself with him no matter him liking it or not.
