ARC Review:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Let’s Not and Sleigh we Did is the third novella in JP Sterling’s Christmas Shenanigans Series. I am convinced this author’s special power is seasonal writing. She draws readers in with popular tropes, but keeps them with her wholesome settings and adorable love stories!
This was a cute, fun, romcom that delivered on the holiday cheer. It featured dual POVs (Noelle and Luke) that drove home the different perspectives of their childhood interactions. I still laugh just thinking about their first kiss gone awry!
In addition to being hilarious, I was shocked with how much character development Sterling was able to fit into the compressed story. Both Noelle and Luke began the story under immense pressure (securing housing and family expectations). However, when they came together they helped each other see their worth and what was really important, love and happiness.
This book also features:
-(twin) brother’s best friend
-marriage of convenience
-he falls first
-adorable barn yard animals (fluffy cow/ horse)
Needless to say, I cannot wait to go back and read the first two novellas in this series(Mingle All the Way and ‘Tis the Season to Get Married)! Special thanks to Netgalley, and JP Sterling for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. I haven't read anything by JP Sterling before, and I was not disappointed. I thought this was a cute and fun seasonal read that I could not put down. The author did an excellent job with the characters and story line. I would definitely read this one again. I can't wait to see more from this author. I absolutely recommend this one to read.
Thank you Net Galley, Victory Editing, and J.P. Sterling

‘Let’s Not & Sleigh We Did’ is the third book in the Christmas Shenanigans series.
This was super quick and cute holiday read. I thought that Luke and Noelle were so cute but also so cringey in the best way possible. They shared some very swoon worthy moments but also had some of the most awkward ones aswell. I laughed and I enjoyed.
Thank you NetGalley, publishers and the author for sending me an advanced readers copy of ‘Let’s Not & Sleigh We Did’ was such an enjoyable read.

Such a cute one and obviously if there is a cute creature on the cover I am all in! This did not disappoint, it was so cute and a nice easy read.

Considering its rating, I guess I'm in the minority on this one, but it just wasn't for me. I refused to DNF, but I really struggled to get through this story and it was only 190 pages. Both MCs just came across as very immature and several decisions and scenes didn't seem realistic whatsoever. I know it's fiction and all, but some things had absolutely no rhyme or reason in my opinion. Luke's "travel grump" bit seemed more like genuine rudeness to me and Noelle's insta-love was super confusing. I plan to try another J.P. Sterling book at some point, but it will probably be a bit before I do.

I have never read anything by this author, but I will be looking out for other books they write in the future. I really enjoyed the story as well as the pacing of the story.

This book was sooo cute! The animals, the imperfectly perfect relationship.. I adored the characters and the Christmas vibes. 5 stars!!

This is a sweet Christmas romance that has a fake engagement/marriage. He is her brother's friend and is helping her when she can't pay rent after her brother moves away. She agrees to help him inherit his grandparent's home which requires that he marry. I think it would have been better for me if they were a little older. He is still in school and living in a dorm. She is perseverating on a bad kiss they shared when they were teenagers. But, it was definitely a hopeful and festive romance.

I hate to be a Scrooge, but giving Let’s Not and Sleigh We Did 3 stars. This Christmas enemies become lovers, marriage for convenience story was cute but I didn’t find anything super exciting about it. I found Luke to be kind of a red flag. His attitude on the plane was a little dramatic. I actually found all the men in the Vegas wedding. It’s definitely cute in the Hallmark Christmas way, which I ultimately always enjoy!! Thanks to the author, Net Galley, and the publisher for the ARC!

Let's Not & Sleigh We Did is a super cute holiday story. I loved Luke and Noelle's story. This was a super cute romcom with the perfect Hallmark vibes. I can't wait to read more in this series.

I Thoroughly Enjoyed this!!! It was cute. The characters were great. I loved the writing with the opposites attract trope. This was fun. Can’t wait to read more from this author

Let’s Not & Sleigh We Did is J.P. Sterling’s Christmas rom-com novella set in a fictional small town in New England. The story is told in alternating POV from Noelle and Luke. There are no sex scenes or profanity.
Noelle is a 22-year-old who works with horses on a small farm in Mapleton, Vermont. She decided not to go to college and shares an apartment (and expenses) with her twin brother, Nate. Although Noelle’s salary is small, she gets free boarding for her horse, Buttercup. When Nate decides to move to Florida to be with a girl that he met online, he offers his best friend, Luke, as a potential roommate for Noelle. Noelle had a bad date and horrible kissing experience with Luke in high school, so she declines the offer. When she loses her job at the stable, she decides that having wealthy Luke as a roommate sounds pretty good.
Luke is pre-law in college and his father expects him to attend Harvard Law School. However Luke is more interested in woodworking, something he did with his beloved maternal grandfather. When his father informs him that the family home will be going to his hated cousin because he’s getting married, Luke decides that he should beat his cousin to the altar so he can inherit the property. Luke works out a deal with Noelle for a fake marriage which will solve all of their problems.
Although I’m not a fan of Hallmark movies, I know that many people enjoy them and prefer stories with similar themes and plots. Unfortunately, Let’s Not & Sleigh We Did seems like it has the elements of a Hallmark movie, but the characters seem immature and there’s several cringey scenes/dialogue. Noelle told readers that her high school kiss with Luke was bad multiple times and provided descriptions of it each time. I feel like this story should be edited further and then re-marketed to the new-adult inspirational market. The overall plotline of Let’s Not & Sleigh We Did is fine; it’s the immature characters that make it less engaging than other closed-door romantic comedies.
I received an Advance Review Copy (ARC) from NetGalley and Victory Editing Co-op for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This one looked cute and I was excited to try it out. However I just could not get into it. Let’s Not and Sleigh We Did is written by J.P. Sterling and it is a romantic comedy. The concepts were cute and fun but the characters got on my nerves. The characters felt really immature and I just couldn't finish reading it. I was hoping that the more I read the book, the more the characters would grow on me. Unfortunately it didn’t happen.
However I did hear good things about this book so maybe it just wasn’t the best fit for me.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through Netgalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, a positive review was not required.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for a chance to read this Christmas romance. This is my honest review.
This is a sweet romance and is the 3rd in the Christmas Shenanigans series. It can be read as a standalone though. I thought the romance between Noelle and Luke was lovely. It has all the tropes I enjoy; forced proximity, fake dating etc. Then when you throw in some Christmas magic and shake well, you have a great combination for Christmas. Definitely needs to be on your TBR for December.

I was so excited to read this one and it was short and sweet which was nice but i had a hard time truly getting hooked on this one. Noelle and Luke were so sweet together and im so glad they got their HEA!

Luke and Noelle's story was witty, charming, delightful, swoony and a great holiday treat to snuggle up and read. I loved the backstory between these two. It made me giggle and had me saying to Noelle several times to just give him a chance and forget about the awkward moment from their past because when push comes to shove it wasn't that big of a deal...kind of. Hahaha! Ok, you have to read the book to understand.
I loved Luke's character. He has been in love with Noelle for years and years and yet is still the perfect gentleman towards her. I loved the advice from his roommate and how as he starts upping his game and spending more time with her, she starts to see a different side of him than she's allowed herself to see. This is a great story showing that sometimes we change and can finally have a clearer picture of a situation than what we allowed ourselves to see before.
Great fake marriage story that brings about friendship, love and a sweet wedding! Love it all!!! And that cute cow!!!
Content: Clean.
I received a copy from Victory Editing Co-Op, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.
Happy Reading!!!

‘Let's Not & Sleigh We Did’ by J.P Sterling was a genuinely surreal novel. The short romance novel follows an enemies to lovers as they are forced into both close proximity and fake marriage due to the female leads, Noelle’s, financial difficulties and Luke’s long lasting crush.
This Christmas story packs a lot of punch and a lot of tropes into such a short amount of pages. It is defo worth a read if you are someone who enjoys the romance genre and enjoys the absurd as this book goes above and beyond when it comes to Christmas. The pun-tastic name expresses this well.
My only complaint is that I found Luke a total red flag and he said someone very questionable things about women, very Mr. Nice guy.
3/5
Thank you to #netgalley for this #arc of ‘lets not and sleigh we did’

A fun holiday romance with tropes I love - plus a fluffy cow! Who wouldn't love that? Definitely one to add to your holiday reading list!

This was such a cute feel good read. I really enjoyed the storyline. Noelle and Luke were so sweet and although it’s unrealistic I still enjoyed it. I’d recommend this as a quick feel good read and it got me feeling Christmassy
