Thank you We Are Bookish for creating this kit & Tor Publishing Group for sponsoring this kit! TikTok founder Cait Jacobs' book club, Bookington Book Club is reading this book for this month and this is going to be so useful for our meeting happening on Monday! The kit includes an author interview, discussion questions, and more resources!

I just read "The Nightmare Before Kissmas", so of course I had to pick up the associated book club kit as well. This particular book club kit contains spoiler and content warnings, an author interview, discussion questions, printable bookmarks, links to recipes that feel thematic to the book, two cocktail recipes, a playlist, some game/activity ideas, and suggestions for further reading.
As usual, it's the author interview and discussion questions interested me most. (The cocktails are fun, but I think the "make sure you're over 21!" commentary would have been better as a "if you're under 21 or don't drink, here's an alcohol-free option!") I actually didn't realize until reading the book club kit interview that the book was marketed at an adult audience rather than a YA one; it makes some sense (spice level is higher than most YA, and the characters are out of their teens), but between the cover and the emphasis on rebelling against one's parents/finding one's path/coming of age, the book itself felt pretty YA to me.
That's really neither here nor there, though; the salient point is really just that these kits are fun and can be thought-provoking, and it's always worth having a read if you've read the associated book.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a free copy of this book club kit.

I loved this little kit! I didn't even know these were a thing! Very good addition to book clubs! I would absolutely purchase these for my book club!

This was freaking hilarious! And creative! I loved the Halloween and Christmas and holiday vibes! If you’re in the mood for laughs and cozy romance- this is it!

THIS IS NOT THE BOOK— it is the book club kit!
This is a handy, resourceful guide with organized info and graphics to pair along with discussions on The Nightmare Before Kissmas during your next book club meet up.

This was such a fun, cute, and romantic read! Coal and Hex were amazing together, but I almost enjoyed the brotherly bond between Coal and Kris and the overall friendship between the group even more.
There was so much to love about this book. I particularly enjoyed how the funny moments were so well balanced out by the serious moments. It was fantastic how the characters grew and developed throughout the story
I adored the characters. They all had likable qualities. I think the world is so unique. The royalty of all the holidays was so The politics I was actually intrigued to learn more about seeing is I'm not to big on political intrigue. This book gave me hallmark vibes in the best way possible.
Also, the chemistry between the princes their romance was so good and just really great to watch develop. The opposites attract mix in a little forced proximity it's a recipe for success!

These book club kits have everything you need for a book club. They offer book marks questions and outlines. They are great!

It comes with bookmarks, recipies and author interviews! Definitely recommend to use this for book club meetings!

This immediately grab me because I was so interested in the storyline. It was different and unique from anything I have read before. It built a very unique world where the holidays have their own courts and places to live along with intricate political game. It was just layered and I loved how that world was built even if it was messy..

This is the perfect kit to go along with the book club that meets at the library where I work. They are always looking for new books and things to discuss.

a great book club resource! lots of entertaining and fun activities and i liked the discussion questions. i love these book club kits and they make reading with a book club much more interactive and enjoyable!

Good guide. I didn't realise it was one at the start but it has nice little bits included rhat adds to the reading experience

This is a pretty cool kit. Not a book for a full review but still a fun add on. I have not yet read the book but I will include a full review when I'm able to read the book.

Great book club kit! The discussion questions are very engaging and makes a great conversational piece for book club discussions. I ❤️ the bookmarks and it’s a good idea to get them laminated.

This in very interesting. I enjoyed it! Its,very short but it's okay. It has fun activities but i cannot drink alcohol. I will make a mocktail.

I used this for a book club with my girls and we honestly loved it. Everything came out great and we loved everything this kit included.

This book was such a fun read! I really enjoyed this authors take on the seasons as people/kingdoms.
I thought it was such a brilliant idea to have Santa/Christmas actually be the "villain". I was expecting Halloween to be the traditional "villain" of the story and I thought this was a great idea to flip the script. The concept that all the holidays world wide band together seasonally, was a very creative idea! Who would have thought someone could take holidays and seasons and create deep and interesting political/corporate controversy.
The characters love story was beautifully told and I appreciated how much depth the characters had. This was not the traditional LGBTQIA romance. I can't wait to the read the next book coming out here soon! With how much fun these characters are to read about and the creative world, I can't wait to see how far she takes this concept. there's a lot of holidays still to explore and expand upon.
