Daniel Hurst has become one of my favorite twisty thriller authors. This is a great collection for anyone that is a huge fan, or someone just starting out to see the quality of his thrillers. Each story was a story weaved with shock, suspense, and terror. He does psychological thriller so well and has become an author that I always read.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this eARC.
Daniel Hurst's collection of psychological thrillers (more a collection of novels rather than short stories, making it an unparalleled value) is a masterclass in suspense and intrigue, and it earned 5 stars from this captivated reviewer...
This outstanding collection includes:
The Passenger - One of my personal favorite, this story is a richly developed tale about a woman attempting to earn enough savings to buy her freedom from the 9-5 doldrums so that she can fulfill her lifelong goal of becoming a writer. This tale effectively blurs the line between victim and victor.
The Break - Karen discovers her husband's infidelity, yet she gives her husband a second chance. The relationship is still healing as she takes a break from her slowly healing relationship. However, Karen's short "break" at a holiday home recommended by a friend becomes a lesson in terror - and survival.
The Boyfriend - This story introduced, Adele, a woman who has finally found her "forever" mate, finds her past boyfriends are being killed off, she realizes that things are seldom as they initially seem (at least when the story is conceived by the talented Daniel Hurst).
New Friends - This story begins when a struggling couple encounters a seemingly wealthy couple during a vacation. A main dish of envy served with a side order of misplaced trust rapidly develops into an all top common scenario of betrayal.
Hurst's novels are known for their fast-paced plots, unexpected twists, and deeply flawed yet fascinating characters. Each story delves into the darker aspects of human nature, keeping readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
**Plot & Pacing:**
Hurst's novels are meticulously plotted, with twists and turns that keep readers guessing until the very last page. The pacing is relentless, ensuring that the tension never lets up. Whether it's a seemingly ordinary person caught in extraordinary circumstances or a complex web of deceit and betrayal, Hurst's stories are designed to keep readers hooked.
Hurst's ability to create complex, multi-dimensional characters is outstandingly evident in this collection. His protagonists are often ordinary individuals who find themselves in extraordinary situations, and their psychological depth is what makes them so compelling. Hurst excels at exploring their inner conflicts and vulnerabilities, making them relatable and human.
Hurst's novels often explore themes of trust, betrayal, and the fine lines between sanity and madness, and good and evil. His writing style is sharp and evocative, with a keen eye for detail that brings his settings and characters to life. The psychological depth of his stories is what sets them apart, as he delves into the minds of his characters, revealing their darkest secrets and fears.
Daniel Hurst's psychological thrillers are a must-read for anyone who loves a good mystery with a psychological twist. His ability to craft gripping narratives with well-developed characters and unexpected plot twists makes his books stand out in the genre. Whether you're a seasoned thriller fan or new to the genre, Hurst's novels are sure to leave a lasting impression.
For those who enjoy being kept on their toes and love a good psychological puzzle, Daniel Hurst's novels are a perfect choice. His stories are filled with suspense, intrigue, and a deep understanding of human nature. If you're looking for a thrilling read that will keep you guessing until the end, Hurst's psychological thrillers are a great pick.

This collection is made up of four books:
The Passenger: Strangers meet on a train home from work. One of them has been stalking the other with nefarious intentions.
The Break: a busy mom wife and mom takes a short holiday to unwind. Little does she know the wonderful house she is staying has a connection to the past that she won't see coming.
The Boyfriend: Adele's ex-boyfriends are dying one by one. Why won't the police believe this can't be a coincidence?
New Friends: Ordinary couple meets rich couple on vacation. One couple is not who they portray. Chaos ensues.
What a great bunch of reads. I love this author and was beyond excited to read four more. I would recommend any and all of these books.
Thanks to netgalley and Inkubator books for the arc.

Wow!! I had only read one book previously by Daniel Hurst before I got approved for this collection, and it’s safe to say after finishing the whole collection I am HOOKED on this author! Every one of the stories in this collection drew me in so quickly, and the twists and turns were never ending! I think I sped through this entire collection in only a few days, because I literally couldn’t stop reading. Something about Daniel Hurst’s writing is so appealing to me, and I can’t wait to read more titles by this author!
Thank you to NetGalley for a free copy of this collection in exchange for an honest review.

The passenger
By Daniel Hurst
This book was an amazing trip! I loved the pure chaos and worthy of more than 5 stars. Daniel Hurst has such a unique ability to wrap you up in a story and make you so invested in the characters that you have to complete book and figure out what happens. I enjoyed this book extremely and I loved how the characters had flaws in themselves things that made them difficult to love just like people nowadays. What a great thriller!
The Break by Daniel Hurst,
Daniel Hurst does it again with another epic book about chaos and crazy people. I will never get bored of reading these enchanting tales of psycho people and their ability to infiltrate normal lives. I enjoyed this book so very much and enjoyed the fear of looking over my shoulder myself, making sure my friends weren’t fake. This book was relatable and wonderful. I really enjoy hursts writing. I will forever be a number one fan of Daniel hurst.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!
The Boyfriend by Daniel Hurst.
Another Daniel Harris book completed and again this author is always an instant pick up. I love the storyline. I enjoy the chaos with the characters and I’m never disappointed in how the ending turns out. Again on this one I had no idea who the culprit was but was pleasantly surprised it was somebody that I didn’t even peg. The only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was the fact that the main character was not as eager to come to the conclusion of who had been killing her exes. I mean, to me, I’d be going extra lengths to figure out who it was. Other than that, the story was enticing and riveting and as always, I enjoy the books by Daniel hurst
New friends by Daniel hurst
When a young couple travels on vacation to wipe away the worries of the day to day and come across a young couple who seem to have it all figured out. Becca and Jaime are reeling to figure out how they’ve done it. Fancy cars, nice vacation, and what seem to be a care free couple. Phil and Mel have a life the two young lovers can only dream of. Well the relationship turns sour when Becca and Jaime realize that they have been had by a couple of con artists and their dreams of having a nest egg have gone down the tube. How can they save their future and the unexpected that is to come.

Putting together four full books in one was a move that would work for some readers, and not for others. For me, I found it difficult to make my way through. It would have worked better, in my opinion, to put the strongest book at the end, however I felt that it was difficult to enjoy the final story.
I enjoyed The Passenger, and The Break was probably my favourite of the four. They are both interesting stories with an original concept and an element of suspense. The Boyfriend was also an interesting story, although I have read other books with a similar storyline before. I did not overly enjoy The New Friends. It was hard to sympathise with Becky and Jamie who made blatantly foolish decisions over and over again.
I was disappointed that although these are marketed as thrillers, there were very few twists and those that were there were either quite early on in the stories, or easy to guess.
Thank you for the ARC.

Every. Single. Book. was a thrill from page one! I literally could not read only one book! I took these with me on vacation and I finished the last one on the ride home! I could not put them down! Every book was filled with the thrills, secrets, twist, and turns!

This is such a great collection of books by one of my favorite authors. Every single book was fast paced and nail biting until the end. I absolutely could not put them down. Definitely worth purchasing!

Full of twists and turns that I did NOT see coming, which I loved! Definitely won’t be the last I’m reading of Daniel Hurst!

The Psychological Thriller Box Set by Daniel Hurst is so good! It consists of 4 books, The Passenger, The Boyfriend, The Break and The New Friends. I loved them all, but my favorite was The Boyfriend! These books are all fast paced thrillers! I could not put them down! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!

What a fab set of books. I don't know where all the ideas come from but Hurst is one of my favourites. Thank you do much for the pre release read.

Four utterly gripping full length novels in one epic box set!
Each novel is standalone and together these novels really showcase the wonderful imagination this author has. Each plot is unique, exciting and utterly unpredictable!
The 4 novels are:
'The Passenger' -a story with themes of stalking involving Amanda, a wannabe author on a London-Brighton commute.
'The Break' - featuring Karen, who discovers her too-good-to-be-true solitary break really is too good to be true as disaster swiftly follows.
'The Boyfriend' - this novel finds Adele in the terrifying position of having her ex-boyfriends swiftly dispatched with the threat that her current partner is also in danger.
'The New Friends' with some seriously scary fraudsters that will leave you highly suspicious of the motives of any apparent 'new friends'!
This collection packs a serious punch and had my up all night turning those pages!
All in all, an outstanding collection, and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to readers of psychological fiction.
My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance copy.

One of my favorite authors. He never fails. Absolutely amazing
Thank you NetGalley for letting me read this book

Daniel Hurst is one of my new favourite authors, only having found his books this year, I was so excited to get stuck into this thriller box set.
The novels did not disappoint, full of amazing characters, twists and lots of thrilling turns in each. These books kept me hooked, thanks so much and I can not wait to read more of his past work.
Thanks to the author and publisher and Netgalley.

I hadn't realised that I'd read #DanielHurst before but as I devoured these 4 thrillers, I realised I had already read the 4th one.
All I can say is definitely give this a go. I wasn't sure how I'd feel ready 4 of the same authors books in a row, worried they'd be a bit samey, I was so wrong, I could've read a 5th!!
Im so impressed how the male writer can get inside a woman's mind, I would swear this was a female author if I didn't know.
All 4 books were such easy, relatable reading. Occasionally a bit predictable but certainly not always.
A strong 4 stars for this one, and I will certainly remember the name #DanielHurst in the future.
Thank you to #NetGalley for the advanced copy

I always enjoy Daniel Hurst's books, they are quick reads and with easy to follow stories and some twists here and there and these were no exception. Popcorn thrillers when you need them. Luckily I had not yet read any of the 4 books contained within this box set and so have been fortunate enough to be approved to read them via NetGalley so Many thanks once again! I'm slowly working my way through his extensive back catalogue.

When I found this, I was a but worried I'd just be reading books I'd already read since I'm a massive fan of the author but surprisingly enough, these were all brand new to me so that was awesome! Everything you'd expect, twists and turns. Engaging plot lines, original characters and unique plot lines. Every story was as awesome as the next

This an amazing set of thrillers from Daniel Hurst!! I read through each one so quickly. Loved them all.
If you enjoy thrillers by all means you should get this box set! Five stars!!!

This box set consisted of four books by Daniel Hurst and as with all of Mr. Hurst’s books they do not disappoint. He keeps the reader engaged and the tension building throughout every chapter.
Mr. Hurst is a clever author and I must say that I have never been able to figure out the endings to any of this books.
I highly recommend this box set or read the books separately.
The Passenger
The Break
They Boyfriend
The New Friends
I would like to thank Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this wonderful set of books.

I was utterly gripped by the passenger, it was my favourite. It was easy, sharp, and full of twists and turns. I read it in a few sittings as I didn't want to put it down.
I definitely want to read more from this author, I like the simple but gripping writing style.
