This is a brilliant read. Full of twists and turns and it blew my mind. I could not put this one down. I am eager to read more by LG Davis now as this has become one of my top reads of the year! Highly recommended.
Wow! Another LG Davis masterpiece! This was quite the creepfest with amazing characters. It’s so easy to fall into a Davis story. This one had me flipping pages long into the night. Dark and disturbing. Loved it!
Thank you NetGalley, LG Davis and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review this crackers of a book.
Hey hey, my favorites #annieethebookiee is back with another review...A huge thank you to NetGalley for the gifted copy of Stolen Baby—an upcoming 2025 release that had me hooked from start to finish.
This psychological thriller dives into the raw, gripping tale of loss, deception, and maternal instincts stretched to their breaking point. L.G. Davis weaves an intricate web of secrets and suspense, making every chapter feel like a revelation.
The protagonist's journey is emotionally charged, and the plot twists are both shocking and satisfying. What truly captivated me was Davis’s ability to humanize her characters, making their struggles feel painfully real. It's not just a story about a stolen baby; it's a masterclass in unraveling the depths of love, trust, and betrayal.
Fans of twisty narratives and emotional thrillers, this one’s for you! Keep an eye out for its release in 2025 because Stolen Baby is destined to be a bestseller.

Bad decisions…..lots and lots of bad decisions…. Well this one was a doozy, with twists and turns that were unexpected. Like a good psychological thriller should be, I had zero idea where it was headed! Really enjoyed it!
Nora has recently lost a baby and is filled with grief. A basket appears on her porch with a baby girl in it along with a note asking her to care for the baby whose name is Daisy.
Lauren, Nora's daughters best friend is found dead. Lauren it had been discovered, had recently given birth before her death.
How did Daisy end up at Nora's front door? Who is the baby's father? How did Lauren die?
Nothing is quite as it seems in this story. Very slowly the bits and pieces come together for a very twisty read.
This book is a real rollercoaster of a read, it starts with a punch and ends with a bang! Full of twists and told with dual timelines it really packs a punch.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, especially at the end, the last 20% of the book just seemed to fly by as I was so hooked I couldn’t stop reading until I had finished!
Wow! I flew through it in an afternoon. This is a fast , ‘don’t want to put it down’, one day read. Chapters are short and read quickly. The POV and timelines are clearly identified. I thought that I’d figured the whole thing out but Nope! The ending was NOT what I had anticipated. True to L.G. Davis’ style there were more twists right up to the very end. (3+/5)
Thank You to NetGalley, Bookouture, and L.G. Davis for the opportunity to read and enjoy this ARC.
If you like a thriller that punches you in the face with the plot twist and then right when you start to see straight again it drops the elbow off the top rope then read this book! Every time I thought I had this one pegged the author was like but wait watch this… I switched sides so many times it’s embarrassing!
This story starts with someone hanging over a cliff looking up into the eyes of someone who they thought loved them…. Btw… we need fences on all cliff edges!!!
Nora and Tom have been trying so hard to have a baby but unfortunately Nora keeps losing the babies… after her latest loss she hears the cries of a baby coming from her porch…. She thinks she is losing her mind but makes herself go check just incase and that is where she finds precious little Daisy, bundled up in a basket with a note that says please take care of her.
Nora takes her in of course but with her past hovering over her head and the recent loss of her baby girl she knows they will never let her keep Daisy, so they decide to lie and say that Daisy is theirs…
What will happen if they get caught and who are the parents? Will they change their minds and come back for Daisy? Lies and secrets are starting to build up and it’s all coming to a boiling point…. Which may or may not lead up to that cliff and with someone staring into the eyes of betrayal!!!!
"Stolen Baby" is a book full of lies, deceit and secrets. Nora and Tom are desperate for a baby of their own but Nora just can't carry to term. One day the doorbell rings and there on the doorstep lies a baby...but how did the baby get there? You'll never guess it and that's exactly why you need to read this book! It's written so well with so many secrets building up and nothing is given away until three quarters of the way through, and then it all clicks! I did however deduct one star as I found the ending to be very abrupt.
Stolen Baby
Nora has wanted a baby desperately, but after several miscarriages a baby mysteriously ends up on her doorstep.
The beginning took me a bit to get into it, but then it really picked up.
Several times the chapter would end with some foreshadowing that took you out of the moment and halted a surprise from happening . Example “it’s this feeling I get when something terrible is about to happen, and honestly, I’m invariably right”. This happens a couple times at the end of a chapter when a nice moment is occurring and feels a bit jolting as a reader .
As the story progresses and shifts to Isobels point of view it really picks up! She’s kind, and cares deeply about those around her. Her POV also has you developing more empathy for her mom. She carries the burden of caring for everyone around her.
The twists are good!! 80% in I was in shock mouthing “wtf” on repeat! The ending was definitely well done as well!
I really enjoyed this !
I was over thinking the whole time but the twists shocked me so much from the gripping start to the amazing end I was so gripped. I loved the characters they were interesting loved finding out their secrets and lies was an amazing thriller

They want to keep her and know with wife’s history baby Daisy will be taken away and put in foster care.
Story kept me curious. I read a lot of thrillers so am suspicious of everyone -so one of the big reveals wasn’t a surprise. But the ending was indeed bizarre~ although unrealistic it was still a page turner.
This is only my fourth Liz Davis story. The other three were great earn 4+ or 5 Stars! They were all great page turner and left me wanted to read more of her stories.

I thought this was an okay read. I didn't fully get into it, I wasn't taken with the characters, and I found that off-putting wouldn't put anyone else off reading it though.
3.75**** This was definitely a whirlwind. The suspense was high and it delivered. The plot twist got me. My mouth dropped! It was a quick read but I wish it ended differently. If there is a sequel, then I’ll understand. Overall, I enjoyed the author’s writing style and look forward to reading more from her!
I was so excited when L.G Davis posted that Stolen Baby was in Netgalley. I was even more excited when my request was approved!
I had anxiety waiting for the next thing to happen at every page I read. I had to know how the story would end! I had figured out part of it but def so many other twists and turns I did not see coming.
If you want a non stop thriller this one is for you!
I thought about what I would do if faced with the same situation I don’t think you fully know what you would do until ur in it.
This is a brilliant read. Full of twists and turns and it blew my mind. I couldn't put it down and needed to finish it to find out out how it ended. 5* from me
Lots of twists and turns in this family domestic drama with a shocking ending! We see a dysfunctional but seemingly happy family trying their best to add another child. As we progress through the story, it gets more tense with each chapter leading us to see all the secrets kept by these members who set out to deceive.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved how it progressed by switching to a new character’s point of view. The last person I expected was the guilty one!!
Wow this author has done it again another gripping thriller. L.G Davis is one of my favourite authors so I couldn’t wait to read this and wow was definitely not disappointed I loved it one of my favourite read this year. I loved how the characters were written so realistic and the story was believable. There was so many mixed emotions throughout I felt for the main character at times. The writing style was great definitely drew me in from first page until the very last.
