A fun addition to the Weenie featuring Frank and Beans series. Sweetie Pie is even more of a menace than Weenie! I love that there are multiple small stories within this book to allow readers a chance to read small chunks and feel a sense of accomplishment for having completed a story.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series when it has been written and published.

Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Random House Canada for allowing me an ARC of this children's book. I enjoyed the short/comic like stories along with the illustrations during its entirety. This book would be so perfect for my 8 year old, second grader. The chapter book contains short stories that are just the right length for holding an early reader's attention. The illustrations really help in aiding to the storylines. I can hear him laughing out loud as he would read this.

This book is another fun installment in the Weenie, Frank, and Beans series. It was not quite as much fun as the first two, but kids will still enjoy it.

Too cute! The little pet friends are so cute and fun, and the adventures are over the top. In the end, there are smooches! This would be a fun book for first time readers to learn words, and kids will laugh out loud. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.

I want to preface this review by first saying , I am a first time grandmother and although my granddaughter is only 8 months old I will be buying this book for her library at both her home and ours. I absolutely loved this book, from the names of the characters right down to the antics they get into.
I am pretty sure Bob has his hands full with Weenie. Frank And Beans are adorable and try their best to keep Weenie out of trouble. When Bernice, Bob's sister brings her new puppy Sweetie-Pie for a surprise visit, we learn that he is a prize winning show dog and he also speaks French, that part made me laugh out loud. Bob is left in charge of Sweetie-Pie and I think it is safe to say that Weenie has his nose out of joint. When he blasted Sweetie-Pie along with Bob's slipper out of the cannon I could picture the smiling faces and laughter from every child who reads this book. What fun parents will have reading it with them. I also want to give Alexandra Bye congratulations on the beautiful illustrations , she really brought the characters come to life. I want to thank Maureen Fergus for writing such a cute story and for Penguin Random House Canada for allowing me to be an advanced reader in exchange for my honest review that I am giving voluntarily ..
