Star-Crossed Darcy by Sarah Deeham was a fun novella that was a good mixture of sweet and spicy. The story follows romance author Jane and she comes face to face with her nemesis and former inspiration for her novel, Finn. A nice quick forced proximity romance that can be read standalone when you want quick romance fix! Thank you to the author, NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC!
This will be posted on Goodreads and Amazon AU as soon as possible.
This was a quick , fun read, and I wouldn't have minded if it had been more than a novella. The characters were more developed than expected, given the short nature of the book. The texts included were a good way to move that character development along quickly. Recommended where romances are popular.
An enemies to lovers romance, the story of Jane and Finn. I loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series.
This little novella was gorgeous, and I highly recommend it if you are a fan of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I really really enjoyed this novella and was kicking my feet and giggling so much at it. Jane was such a sweetheart who knew how to stand up for herself as much as she could while also making sure to be mindful of others' feelings sometimes. I loved the grudge Jane had of our handsome Finn. He was honestly hilarious with the way he talked to Jane and his funny little quips. I loved the writing style in this book as well and i am excited to read more from this author in the future.
Thank you, NetGalley and publisher, for allowing me to ARC read and give an honest review.
This is a short sweet and spicy read that I devoured in one sitting. As it was such a short book there were not many opportunities for character development, but that is to be expected.
Finn was so cheeky, he could literally get away with murder. Jane was a strong FMC, although she had her insecurities I loved how she ignored her mums initial advice and followed her own heart. Wow the limo scene was 🔥🔥
This was the first book I have read by this author, I can’t wait to see what else she has written 😍
