T.M. Logan never fails to deliver and yet again another thrilling, edge of the seat read. This book had my heart racing, hands sweating and was probably the best read of this year. It delivered twist after twist. The characters were believable drawing the reader into a realistic psychological journey.
How far would you go the find your daughter? Who can you trust?
I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who likes to be taken out of their comfort zone. It has everything, grooming, kidnap, murder, drugs, love, loyalty.

When you go to pick up your daughter from her university, looking forward to seeing her after months apart and to spending the Christmas holidays together, the last thing you expect is to find out that she has not been seen on campus for weeks.
In fact, the university authorities insist that your daughter left of her own free will, dropping out of her course as many young people choose to do. But the young man who seems to have been stalking her has a different story to tell...
And anyway, that does not sound like your ambitious, bright child. Even if you did have a bad falling out with her, you can't believe that she would choose to throw away everything she has worked so hard for, including her dream of becoming a lawyer. But was that her dream, or was it yours?
This is a fast paced thriller with plenty of twists, gradually revealing a daughter's secret life, a visitor from a long ago past, and a mother who has her own secrets. I enjoyed the first part of the story best, because the author does such a good job of creating a sense of urgency and suspense. But this is, throughout, a solid thriller - even if you may need to suspend discipline at certain points. Logan has done it again, and this story gets 3. 5 stars.

I am a huge TM Logan fan and I've read all his books so I was thrilled to be given the chance to read an advance copy! I wasn't disappointed. The twists ans turns keep on coming and I couldn't put it down. I think this is his best book yet!

Watch out! You won't want to put this one down!
Evie is missing and her mother, Lauren, does everything in her power to find her. It doesn't let up; from the moment she arrives at the University to find her daughter and all the way through the three months of Evie's backstory to the present day. It had me on edge, a pure adrenaline rush!
Her motherly obsession to find her daughter is so strong, you know there will be little time to catch your breath. These are the book that I love the most, ones you can't put down and ones you're happy to return to after work. The pace accelerates with each new chapter as we follow a distraught mother through the process of interviews, surreptitious investigations and stalking, her believable bravery and insistence to get to the bottom of this puzzle. With all this, comes danger at every turn. Enter Lucas, the resourceful son who desperately wants to help. I loved this Mum duo and how they worked well together. As the story unfolds and new secrets come to light, it reminded me of the movie Taken even before Lucas mentions it.
Massive five stars! Not only because it's well written, well plotted and well, T.M. Logan, but because it kept me glued! The ending was explosive, so many twists and turns and I wasn't sure how it would all pan out. But it was soooo satisfying.
WOW! What a rollercoaster!

In The Daughter, T,M Logan delivers a gripping thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story starts with Lauren eagerly anticipating reuniting with her daughter Evie after her first term at university. However, her excitement turns to terror when she discovers a stranger in Evie's dorm room and realizes Evie has been missing for weeks.
As the police prove unhelpful, Lauren takes matters into her own hands, bringing her young son along on a desperate search for Evie. Their investigation is fraught with danger and tension, showcasing the lengths a mother will go to find her child. With the dual time line between past and present the story moves a long at a fast pace, you are always kept guessing and wanting more
T.M Logan masterfully weaves suspense and emotion, creating an unforgettable story. The Daughter is a must-read for fans of heart-pounding thrillers, full of unexpected twists and relentless pacing.

Have read everything by TM Logan and have yet to be disappointed but this one is possibly right up there with the best of them.
Every mother's nightmare when her daughter drops out of university and disappears without a trace.
There are just so many twists and unexpected turns in this book it makes it a real page turner, one of those where you just keep thinking one more chapter over and over again.
Huge thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC in return for an unbiased review.

Oh my goodness! TM Logan has done it again, this has me gripped; I could not put this down! How does he do it.
The daughter has suspense, drama and plot twists that will keep you in suspense and doubting your own judgement.
Lauren’s story and journey in finding her daughter just shows the strength of a mother’s love and the ability to be able to walk over hot coals for their children! I honestly want more of this already despite the story coming to a close and loose ends being tied I really want this to go on and on.
TM Logan you are by far still my favourite author! Bravo!

A cracking tale that will keep you guessing and on the edge until the end. Twisty and fast moving, it is a mother’s worst nightmare with the added edge of not knowing who to trust.

Wow! Right from the get go you are whisked along at breakneck speed, barely able to catch your breath as you are gripped by the story.
Excellent read. Another winner for T.M. Logan.
My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advanced digital copy in return for an honest review.

Thanks to Netgalley and Zaffre for providing this arc in exchange for an honest review.
When Lauren goes to pick up her daughter, Evie, at university, she finds that someone else is living in her dorm room and that person doesn’t know who Evie is. Texts to Evie aren’t delivered and calls to her don’t go through. Lauren and her 12 year old son set off on a mission to find Evie.
I think TM Logan is a really dependable author and I always enjoy his books. This was no exception. It was pretty fast paced and kept me turning the pages. I look forward to his next novel.

Another cracking story from TM Logan. A mums worst nightmare. The mother goes to pick her daughter up from Uni for the Christmas break, and she isn’t there and hasn’t been for over a month, where is she. The daughter falls in love with a man who is not who she thinks he is. A twist and turn thriller to find the daughter, who can be trusted, can old relationships be rekindled, it keeps you guessing until the end.

T.M. Logan belongs to that rare breed of contemporary fiction writers who manage to polish and re-polish the nuts and bolts of their craft anew with each new novel: settings (reassuringly familiar British workplaces and homes), characters (financially comfortable, often middle-aged parents with their unspoken insecurities and worries) and plots (everyday events spiralling out of control). With The Daughter, T.M. Logan is once more in fine form. His main character this time is loving mother and new empty-nester Lauren, who cannot wait to find out how her daughter Evie’s first university term went. But when Lauren travels to her daughter’s halls of residence, Evie has disappeared without trace, plunging Lauren into a nightmarish journey to uncover the truth …. Expertly executed, this novel can be simultaneously enjoyed by new T.M. Logan readers or devoured by his longstanding readership – I know into which category I fall! My thanks go to NetGalley and to the publishers for the ARC that I was gifted and that allowed me to read this suspenseful thriller ahead of publication date in return for this review.

Amazing thriller. As a fan of TM Logan this book is tense, twisty and gripping. A must read for all thriller fans!

Evie has just started her law degree at Queen Anne’s university. It’s the Christmas break so Lauren, her mother, has arrived to take her back home. Only she is not there having dropped out of her course earlier. With the help of a security man who provides her with phone number she begins the desperate search for her daughter who she has by all accounts a strange relationship with.
Through the perspectives of Evie and Lauren we see how their relationship has fractured: Lauren, who got pregnant at nineteen and was forced to drop out of her degree, appears to be overly protective of her daughter for fear of ruining her life. Tagging along is Evie’s brother Lucas who is wise beyond his years.
The two team up with Ruth, another mother of a missing daughter, but is she all that she appears to be? And why is there a BMW following them? As the trio drive through London on the hunt for Evie and Cassie, they embark on a dangerous journey which will uncover a web of lies and revenge.
TM Logan once again hits the mark with this tale of manipulation, isolation and grooming. The pages literally turn themselves and still we are treated to a twist that I never saw coming. This is a well written piece. Does he produce anything that is not? There is plenty of suspense and tension as the time ticks down.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ahead of publication – A real treat.

Gripped me from the very start and didn't let up until I fell asleep mid page. Such a great author and yet another fantastic read.

I loved this book, the story had my invested from page 1 and I really enjoyed the multiple points of views, a great read with so many twists your head will hurt. It’s one you can’t put down and I would definitely recommend if you like domestic thrillers

Totally unpredictable; what a ride. T M Logan has delivered a fast paced thriller with so many twists and turns, it literally sets your heart racing. I’ve enjoyed other books by Logan, but I think this is the best. Such a. Simple premise, a mother goes to pick up her daughter from university, but she’s not there. What’s happened? This is a book that once started is difficult to put down. I was totally wrapped up in the drama and my only disappointment was when I finished the story. This is a first rate, fast paced and skilfully plotted take that’s absorbing. Loved it.

Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in return for an honest review. Wow! This is definitely my favourite T.M. Logan book by far. I absolutely loved it and flew through it so fast as I had to know the outcome. Fast paced, non stop action and plenty of shocking twists. I really liked the characters especially Lauren, who was so fierce and determined not to give up on her daughter. A brilliant edge of your seat thriller which I highly recommend. 5 stars

Crippling Angst…
A desperate and breathless race against time in this edgy, unexpected and tension mounting mystery from this accomplished author. As Lauren arrives to collect her daughter from her university halls, she is flabbergasted when a stranger opens the door to her daughter’s room. The truth is that her daughter, Evie, is nowhere to be found and has not been seen for weeks. So, where on earth is she? With a propulsive plot, unravelling at the rate of knots as the search for Evie begins, and a stellar cast of credible characters the author maintains a mounting sense of tension and crippling angst throughout to denouement. Gripping, compulsive and compelling.
