Oh my word this book was fantastic. I couldn't put it down! You always get a good read from T.M. Logan. So much suspense and heartache in this one, highly recommended.

T.M. Logan is a master of suspense.
Lauren arrives at her daughters college to take her home for Christmas only to discover she is not there what follows is a suspenseful well written novel about a mother searching for her daughter.
There are so many twists and turns in this book that keep you guessing but things are revealed at a good pace.
I really enjoy this authors books and the way he writes I think this is my favourite of his so far.

Yet another superb thriller fom the excellent, and prolific, TM Logan. When a mother goes to pick up her daughter at the end of her first term at University, she is nowhere to be found. It quickly transpires that she hasn't been there for some time and Lauren becomes embroiled in a dangerous trail to find her. This is an exciting, engrossing and unputdownable novel and an absolute triumph!

Lauren goes to pick her daughter Evie up from uni only she`s not there and was told she had left a couple of months ago, the uni are not interested as Lauren was not named as her next of kin and the police are not interested as she left of her own accord, but she is joined by another mother who`s daughter has also gone missing, the plot thickens and they find Evie has been in an expensive hotel with a rich man but soon disappeared and they are desperate to find them and hopefully alive.
At times I found Lauren irritating and just wanted to slap her and get help.
Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC and I give my honest review.

I only recently T.M. Logan’s books and was really excited to be able to read an advance copy of The Daughter.
What a hook for a start of a book - Lauren Wingfield goes to collect her daughter Evie for the Christmas holidays. She’s excited to catch up on how her first term at University has gone. When she arrives at the Hall of Residence, a stranger opens the door.
Without revealing any spoilers, this is one heck of a read. I really got a sense of a mother’s desperation in trying to find her lost daughter. Lauren is a single-mum and her family unit of Evie and her younger Lucas is tight. It felt really authentic and believable how Lucas was impacted by Evie’s disappearance.
It’s an action packed rollercoaster ride of a book - fast paced with lots of twists and turns.
Huge thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, Bonnier Books UK | Zaffre, for making this e-ARC available to me in exchange for a fair and honest review.

THE DAUGHTER BY T.M. LOGAN.
Release date set for the 27th of February 2025.
I have a fair few of this authors books on my book shelf and let me tell you this one did not disappoint.
It's just as good as all the others.
Packed with drama and suspense.
Fast paced and all out a good book.

I have loved every single book I have read by this author, but I can hand on heart say that this one is my favourite to date!.
The storyline itself had me hooked from the moment I began reading right through to the very last page. The characters were brought to life vividly by the author, all with their own personality traits that really gave the story more drive as it progressed.
A marvellous, thrilling read!

TM Logan has been an auto buy author for a few years for me since I read the Holiday and The Catch a few years ago. This is definitely an quick easy thriller read and could easily be done in one sitting as it is full of twists and will keep you guessing. This is now my favourite one by the author I prefer the dream home or the curfew but still raced through this one to find out what happens next. Looking forward to his next book already! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for this arc.

Thank you to NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book.
Lauren goes to pick up her daughter from university for the Christmas break, and she's not there. She has literally completely vanished. With no trace. Lauren goes in to panic mode, and then starts to hunt for her daughter, and realises quickly that there's things about her daughter that she didnt know.
This was such a fast paced and compelling read. I literally could not put this down. This author always offers such brilliant storylines that keep you wanting more and more. There were of course many twists, turns, and red herrings throughout. You really thought you knew exactly what had happened, but was completely wrong. This had "Taken" vibes throughout, and I could not love this book kore if I tried. The characters were so well written, Lauren was perfect, she had the right mix of vulnerable but fierce and wanted answers, no matter the lengths she had to go to get them. Brilliant and highly recommended.

My first T.M. Logan read and it will definitely not be my last. My favourite type of thrillers are the ones that have you guessing, only giving tidbits of information to add to the mystery—and this book did just that.
From the very first chapters, I was gripped. It was adrenaline-fuelled, full of suspense and the unexpected twists made it impossible to put down.
The only criticism I have is that during the action at the end, some parts felt skipped. It would have been nice to expand on it so readers can see how everything played out.
Thank you to NetGalley and Zaffre for providing me with an advanced copy in return for my honest review.

This was a tense read with some incredible twists and turns along the way. I really couldn’t predict where this book was going to end up, but it was a hugely satisfying ending.

Can’t wait for more books
You thought she was safe. You were wrong . . .
Lauren can't wait to see her daughter again, to pick her up from university at the end of her first term. But when she arrives at her hall and knocks on the door to her room, a stranger opens it.
At first, Lauren thinks she must have the wrong room, or the wrong floor. Maybe even the wrong building.
But she soon realises the truth: Evie's not there. She hasn't been there for weeks. So where is she?
Following one family's desperate race against time as one terrifying moment unravels into a living nightmare, The Daughter is the unmissable new heart-in-mouth thriller from the Sunday Times bestselling author of The Mother and The Dream Home.

Fabulous page turning stuff. If you are looking for a stay up all night unputdownable book then this is the one to choose.
As with all of the authors previous books the storyline is fast paced, thrilling and grips the reader from the start with a brilliant hook, in this case the disappearance of Lauren’s daughter Evie. What starts as a mum collecting her slightly rebellious daughter from her first term at university only to find she is not there and in fact has not been there for some time becomes a thrilling ride and fight to find her. The story is so compelling that I had to keep reading to see what would happen and the characters were so well constructed I fully believed in them and couldn’t wait to find out what was coming next.
A great book, one I highly recommend and a definite for the to be read asap list.
Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fast paced, tense and twisty read. There was a great twist that I didn't see coming at all which I always like. I feel like it could've been a bit shorter but apart from that I enjoyed this and flew through it.

Wow wow wow - T.M. Logan does it again.
We stan T.M. Logan as an author, and have read every book in his catalogue so I was so super excited to have this one approved.
I flew through this book, it was so beautifully written with the right amount of drama, suspense and being unputdownable.
As a mother, finding out that your daughter is 'missing' is awful. This wasnt written like a typical ITV drama where you think you know what is going to happen - I was genuinely shocked by the twists.
A 5* read from me!

I think this is my favourite T.M Logan book yet. It is a really heart in your mouth type of thriller. I really felt for the mum not knowing where her daughter was. I can absolutely see this being a TV series.

Fast-paced; suspenseful and gripping. Everything we have come to expect and love from T M Logan. There is something about this writing style that takes over your life for the few days it takes you to get from one cover to the other. Can’t wait to recommend this to any and every mystery thriller fan.

Well, TM Logan has done it again! He's managed to take a real-life parent fear and turn it into a cracking thriller. Having had two of my children go to university, there's always the fear that you don't really know what they're up to and whether they're safe. It's hard to let go but you have to allow them their freedom. Things have been tense between Lauren and her daughter, Evie, but Lauren's excited to pick her up for the Christmas holidays. When she discovers that her daughter hasn't been at university for most of the term, Lauren sets out to find her missing daughter. The story takes a dark and dramatic turn but always stays plausible - scarily so. There's a fabulous twist towards the end that made me gasp out loud but I'm not going to share any more than that. This is a book that just has to be read!

The Daughter is another solid thriller from T. M. Lewin, engaging plot which captures your attention straight away, mystery, intrigue and satisfying plot twists.
4 stars,

I’ve just finished this book and I’m speechless. I found it easy to read and is such a fast paced thriller I was speeding my way through it, holding my breathe at times.
As a mother myself I could only imagine the terror Lauren felt when she turned up at her daughter Evie’s university to bring her home only to find out she had disappeared without trace .
As Lauren turns over every stone to try and find her daughter, she uncovers a complex web of deceit , lies and criminal activity.
The twist and turns in this book were amazing , with one in particular blowing my mind. Gripping and skilfully plotted this book was a first class read for me.
