What can I say. I love a one pot meal as it makes life easy and dinner tasty and fun. That is exactly what this book/cookbook does and I would recommend it to one and all. The recipes are easy to follow, the ingredients easy to get and/or have in the pantry and the results, well they speak for themselves.
This is a cookbook I would give as a gift as well as keep for myself. I am currently working me way through it and trying just about all the fabulous recipes within. YUM!
Thank you NetGalley and Ebury Publishing, Penguin Random House for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

This is a great book of varied recipes all made in one pot. It would be a great book for a novice cook. I'm old and very experienced and I personally didnt find anything new or novel. There are lots of squash and bean chillies, pastas, basic curries etc that all have good ingredients and would be very tasty but didnt add to my repertoire. The dishes are all hearty and filling and mostly use easily available ingredients and are also thrifty. It would be very useful to a younger or newer cook.

A good recipe book – it has a lot of pluses to combat any minuses. As the subtitle suggests, everything here more or less comes from just the one pan, which means fewer hobs, less washing up, more convenience and so on. You do need a baking tray and a frying pan and a lidded, oven-friendly frying pan, and probably a few more besides, but you do only use one at a time, and the results are pretty balanced meals.
If truth be told they can be even more balanced than you'd expect – the breakfasts/brunches section features a "vegetarian full English", which as we all know is not a thing that even exists. But moving on – the sections range from that one to simple meals, to posh dating and celebration meals, and more. They come with decent presentation – not a whole page of waffle to tell us what a brunch is, or why some things are in there and others aren't, etc. You do get a tiny paragraph of puff for each meal, but that's standard, and everything is there that you'd like. I really liked the way they allowed themselves a full-page image each time, and then allowed themselves the option to have the visuals be the stage-by-stage snapshots, as opposed to a routine look at the done deal.
Another credit is that the dishes don't need bonkers ingredients – yes, a lot will involve me buying harissa for the first time in my life, and I didn't even know before now that cherry tomatoes were routinely sold tinned. Another demerit is that I saw half the project – for each chapter has a bonus selection of dishes fished from the cloud with a QR code, and each dish has a similar code to call up bonus recipes. I only review books, funnily enough, so that was all a pass of an idea.
Another demerit – for me, at least, is that this is very informal, telling us the reader that we know what the creatives habitually do with sausages, and so much more – er, no, we'd never heard of you, but move on. I would have thought a "sando" was a DIY carpenter's tool of some kind. It's a sarnie.
But the key credit is the funky, youthful invention here – I doubt Mrs Beeton would have had vodka with her orzo, or vice versa, and nothing you'll see on a menu this year will beat the idea of a beef stew with Buckfast for wackiness – and I mean a whole bottle, mind. And everything is here – Mexican, Greek, Moroccan, a mix of Provencal with Thai – we're really covering all corners of the world in one shape or form. And you don't have to go full-on oddballs, with a moussaka-styled hot pot, summery salads and almost staid puddings here.
What was most evident was a use of the "flavour bomb" concept – the few funky ingredients that can spruce up pretty much anything, and this does not allow any recipe to be humdrum as a result. No, it really aims for a fresh novelty, a discerning slice of exoticism, a – well, let's face it, a Sorted Foods kind of approach. What is it with undergrads called Ben realising their fellow students couldn't cook? I'm a bit on the picky side to have taken much out of this to use later, but this quirk on staples, and the sheer number of recipes being so much better than many similar cookbooks, makes this a huge success.

I loved this cookbook and generally have loved every single book that MOB has released! I have been following them since they had about 17K followers on Instagram and I love seeing how well they’ve done. This book is perfect for weeknight cooking as was so good I went out and purchased a copy for my shelf!

Thank you so much as always Mobs recipes are great and this book is no exception. We have tried a couple and are now buying the book.

Thank you for by copy of this. I love the premise and love trying to be smart about meals (and washing up) and though I think this is a good idea, it didn’t feel like anything new. I wasn’t that excited to try the recipes, face ones I did like the sound of were things I would just make myself, it at least something similar

Great achievable recipes that seem do-able for even novice cooks
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

4☆
There's some really yummy recipes in this mob one cookbook. It literally has something for everyone's taste.
Best of all, it focuses on one pan, one pot, one bowl recipes for easy cooking, for all levels.
It's made up of the following chapters.
MORNING ONES, EASY ONES, SPEEDY ONES, FEASTING ONES, FANCY ONES, FRESH ONES, SLOW ONES, SWEET ONES.
The ingredients are all nicely laid out into Grams and Spoons which is brilliant as I really don't enjoy having to use conversions.
There are pictures to accompany every recipe which I love as some cookbooks don't include pictures of the final product, which is a big bug bear of mine.
My only niggle is that it's not entirely ebook friendly. That could just be because it's not a final copy. But I just think it's layout is more suited to a physical copy.
Overall a great cookbook, I can't wait to test out and get stuck in

I was delighted to get the opportunity to review Mob One and can’t wait to try out some of the recipes.

Really enjoyed this read, perfect for cosying up on the sofa during the holidays.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me for my honest review.

Recipes in here all sound delicious! The ones we made have been scrumptious and easy to follow. I like that each one says how long they take and includes cooling time if needed, and there are pictures of each dish too.
The recipes are split into subsections to help you find the ones you need.
I would say that the list of NM ingredient can be quiet long and require lots of different base sauces (like fish sauce, tamarind, tahini etc) which could drive up the cost of each recipe if you don't already have these in. A lot do the recipes have some level of spice in - my husband and I look forward to trying these but it makes it hard to cook one meal for all of our family at the moment!
A great book for people looking to expand their meal plans!

This book is FANTASTIC. The recipes are phenomenal. Something for everyone and I would say it is 50% vegetarian and 50% meat. Great ideas and really easy to follow. Do not hesitate to pick up a copy of this book!

I’ve followed Mob on social media for a little while but hadn’t picked up one of their recipe books until now. I’m all for an easy life so One seemed like a good place to start!
This book is full of delicious looking recipes and contains beautiful pictures for each recipe which is always a massive bonus in a cookbook. I like to be able to see what I’m going to be making.
A great book for fans of Mob and anyone looking to change he up their weekly menu.

Fab Recipe Book!
I really love the simple yet delicious recipes in this book which are full of time-saving hacks. A particular favourite of mine is the hash brown tortilla which uses crumbled up defrosted hash browns for an incredible brunch and saves so much time and effort in peeling and slicing potatoes! There are a great range of veggie recipes too and I like how the sections are divided into 'easy', 'fancy', 'fresh', and 'slow' etc.
Each recipe is well thought out and explained clearly with mouthwatering photos. The QR codes are also a really great interactive touch to find recipes similar in style to the one on the page.
I'm certainly going to be trying a lot of the recipes in this book as the ones I've tried so far have been delicious and have saved a lot of washing up!

I’ve followed MOB on social media for years so was excited to see they had released a new book. The book is well organised into sections with beautiful photographs making you want to cook each dish. Each recipe is easy to follow. Perfect for those learning to cook new things or those stuck in a rut .

Aware that I've been in a bit of a food rut lately I thought I'd give Mob One , a look. I've used a couple of their online recipes and I love their ethos and that their life started as a student trying to inspire other students to cook.
It's a well thought out book , with plenty of pictures and the instructions seemed fairly straightforward. There is a good variety of recipes and a lot of veggie ones , which makes a change from more traditional cook books which are often split into meats . I've not cooked vegetarian for a while but I will definitely be trying a couple.
The book itself is aimed at young adults and I did find the "yoof " tone a bit irksome but I'm definitely not the target market so I'm not going to get wound up about it . A lot of the recipes I fancied had love or hate ingredients like olives and pickles. I could cook them and leave out the ingredients I don't like but I probably won't. A nice touch though is there are QR codes throughout the book which link to their website - so if you fancy a recipe at first glance then don't like something on the ingredient list you can link to the website and see similar.
A decentish cookbook and a good stocking filler if you have a young adult in your family. If my nephew was a few years older I'd consider buying this for his Christmas 🎄

I love a mob recipe. This book is great as its all one pot meals. Not only that but there is no faffing about or weird ingredients.
There is a good selection of recipes and a range of meals.

I love the concept of the Mob One cookbook and was delighted to receive an ARC of it. Mob One has over one hundred simple recipes that can be made in one pot or pan - this is perfect for the busy cook who does not want to use a lot of equipment or to follow a million steps to make a great tasting meal. There are some great recipes within that have an interesting twist that I cannot wait to try such as the Buckfast stew or the Gochujang chilli. I am not usually attracted to the dessert section of cookbooks but the ones in this book look amazing and more importantly seem really achievable. Mob One is a really useful addition to any cookbook collection.

I’ve got all of the other Mob books and I really love them. Their recipes are clear and straightforward and always taste great. This one is very good as it’s all about one pot or one pan which is convenient, time saving and great to cook. The recipes in this book are very varied and there really is something for everyone.
I would definitely recommend this book. Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book.

I was not familiar with Mob - it was the concept and the potential healthy recipes that intrigued me.
What worked for me was the variety and lesser known, creative recipes.
