I really didn't get into this novel at all, which is disappointing as I really did enjoy the first few books of this series. I missed a few in the middle - I don't know if that was part of the problem but, honestly, it shouldn't be.

The biggest issue I had with it - and this book isn't alone in suffering this lately - is that it doesn't really know what it is supposed to be. It has two different plotlines going on (one in Somalia?) and part of the story is told from Annika's husbands' POV. Just weird. Didn't work for me at all...

I'm currently going through the books on my kindle, and reading one of the books that has been on kindle the longest and one that is a recent purchase. I found this one as one that i'd had since 2014 and not gotten around to reading yet. I have a lot I haven't yet read, but i'm doing good and slowly getting through them.
This little Gem must have pushed itself up the line for a reason, it really did want me to read it.
A great read with a thrilling story line, written to keep you turning the pages, and it certainly does. I read this book in just over a day.
I was a little gutted to realise this was actually book 9 in a series, I like to read series from book 1, but I didn't realise until i'd finished it.
