This is a great story that had me gripped from the start. I did have a hunch where it was leading mid way through but that didnt spoil it at all. Well worth a read !

Words cannot express the emotions I experienced while reading this book. The twists were unexpected, and incredible. The characters were so well-written. The emotional ride was quite the roller-coaster!

The story is so thought-provoking. It really makes you consider the black and white and gray behind decisions we all make every day in our life. And how small things, that we tell ourselves are innocuous, can have huge consequences that we have never even considered.

A great read, that makes you think, and that takes you on quite the intense journey...

Absolutely fantastic plot! I could not put the book down once I began reading it. I will recommended it to everyone I know!

I read Caitlin Weaver's Such A Good Family and could not put it down. So I may have had too high a hopes for this book. I did not like Fabiola ( main character ) from the start. She seemed to be wanting to do a good thing for a friend, but it ended up being very selfish.

This is in the thriller genre, but I think suspense is a better way to describe it. It does not have the intensity I think a thriller should have.

The ending is not believable at all. It was wrapped up too quickly and too neatly for the mess the rest of the story was. So if you can throw away your need for believability then you will like it.

I am still a Caitlin Weaver fan and I would read her next book.

I loved the premise of this one and was so looking forward to jumping right in.

Fabiola and Aron have it all. Three children and Aron's new start up business. Her best friend Liz is married to her old friend Peter. Life couldn't be better except Liz is desperate for a child that she cannot bear. Fabiola jumps in to say she will be their surrogate without much thought. Thus begins the not so perfect plan.

I liked the story overall, but disliked the characters and had a hard time connecting to any of them. To me the oddest thing about the book is that nobody seemed all that excited about the prospect of a baby. Even Liz's quest for a baby seemed to wane in short order.

I would say a good book but not great. Mostly due to them being unlikable.

The Perfect Plan by Caitlin Weaver was a fast paced book filled with twists. But what makes this book stand out is the emotions within it. The author did such an amazing job with the character development that it made me feel a connection to each one. Thank you to Netgalley, Storm Publishing, and the author for the advanced copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I instantly fell in love with Fabi’s character. The anguish she felt was evident, but she also continued to carry on with her life, being a devoted parent, boss, and friend. We all make mistakes and this book showed how easily it can happen, even to the best of us. The ending was not what I wanted to happen, but it was the next best thing.

This is my second book by Caitlin Weaver and what they have in common is that they are both very easy to read and fly through!

I enjoyed this one overall, but had hoped for a little more at the ending. I was still entertained throughout, so I am glad I read it!

I'll definitely continue to read her books in the future!

The Perfect Plan by Caitlin Weaver is very complex and intriguing in which I found it difficult to put down. Some twists and turns, yet a roller coaster ride of emotions. I liked that the author went into depth on most of the characters regarding their emotions, experiences and thoughts of what they were thinking and feeling about what was occurring within their relationships and friendships. Not everyone thinks about the consequences of their actions; this book challenges this on how a couple of actions someone does effects all those who are involved. I recommend this book to anyone

This is the third Caitlin Weaver book I've read and I really enjoyed it! Fabiola wants to be a surrogate for her best friend, Liz, who is married to Peter her childhood friend/boyfriend. They're unable to have a child of their own and she loved being pregnant so it seemed the obvious solution instead of finding a surrogate through an agency. Her husband isn't sure it's a good idea since they have 3 kids of their own, how can Fabi have any more time to dedicate. Marital struggles due to financial stress, past flames, and lines being crossed add to the ever changing dynamics of these friends. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of this book, it pulled me in from the beginning, the characters were very realistic and you felt like you truly get to know them. I can't wait to see what Caitlin Weaver writes next!

Overall this was an entertaining read but not something I’d rush to pick up again, in parts it felt unbelievable & didn’t quite grab my attention like I’d hoped.

Weaver’s writing is phenomenal, and I felt every emotion the characters went through. At times, the tension was so thick I could feel my heart racing. The ending was both surprising and satisfying. Ultimately, this is a beautifully written, emotional rollercoaster of a book that explores difficult decisions and feelings.

I love how good Caitlin Weaver is at writing complicated female protagonists, who you want to love as much as you want to smack them sometimes. I struggled with this book because of that. I didn’t really like the main character, and since it’s all written from her POV, at times I felt like the book was hard for me to get through.

I liked the book as a whole, but it all felt like it wrapped up a little too neatly at the end. It almost felt like there were no consequences for Fabiola’s bad behavior, although I was happy everything turned out okay in the end.

This book definitely showcases the ups and downs of both romantic relationships and female friendships beautifully. It also shows in devastating detail how hard it can be to be a parent when you didn’t have the best model growing up, or when you don’t feel like you’re on the same page as your partner.

I definitely recommend this book to fans of domestic dramas, and to people who love when other people’s lives are messy and dramatic. This book definitely satisfied that little part in me that loves other people’s drama!

I absolutely love Caitlin Weaver's book- she is the master of women-centric themes from multiple perspectives. The Perfect Plan is about two best friends, one of whom offers to be a surrogate for the other. A spur of the moment decision throws everything into question, including the status of the baby she is growing for her best friend.

I love Caitlin Weaver and will read everything she writes. I really loved her first two books and was so excited to dive right in to this one.

The Perfect Plan didn’t grab my attention right away. It took quite awhile to draw me in and become interesting. I did like the characters.

This book isn’t my typical genre, but one of my 2025 goals is to expand my reading palate, so I decided to give it a try. I should have paid closer attention to the description and realized cheating was a central theme—something I really dislike in stories. I personally don’t find it necessary and would have avoided the book had I known.

That said, I can’t deny the writing style is compelling and kept me turning the pages. The portrayal of the struggles of working motherhood and the complexities of marriage felt raw and authentic. The author did an excellent job of exploring those dynamics with depth and emotion.

While the storyline wasn’t for me, I can see how others might enjoy this heartfelt and tangled tale of love, friendship, and betrayal. If cheating isn’t a dealbreaker for you, it’s worth considering.
