I can always count on Isley when I need a fun, light, cute, funny read and this was no exception. I thought the two main characters were cute together and I was rooting for them. I should add I love the fake romances trope so that helps! This isn't a book that you'll remember long after you read it but it's cute for when you need a mental vacation!

All my favourite tropes and written by Camilla means it’s a winner for me.It’s a fast paced story, drawing me in immediately.
Rowena has the worst morning ever, finding out she’s pregnant by her waste of space ex and then being let go from her job. Adrian a successful investment banker has invented a fake fiancée to impress his CEO, regretting this immediately.
Rowena doesn’t make it out of the building before morning sickness takes it toll, Adrian’s sushi doesn’t sit well and they both end up meeting each other in the restroom, at their lowest point. Adrian soothes a crying Rowena, an opportunity to solve both their problems presents itself. Rowena pretends to be his fake fiancée, Adrian will take care of her financially and ensure she sees the best neonatal doctors that money can buy. It’s only a year out of her life, all she has to do is play the part and not fall for him……we’ll see.
I love Camilla’s style of writing, she has me giggling and swooning at the same time. I love a good fake dating, mix that with a rich millionaire and unexpected pregnancy and I’m sold. The growth of both characters felt so natural, their chemistry was evident but what I loved most of all was the way they both cheerleader each other to follow their dreams no matter what it meant for their relationship.
Thank you NetGalley, Camilla Isley and Boldwood Books for this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

I just finished If the Ring Fits by Camilla Isley, and I am absolutely in love with this story! 💍✨ It’s the perfect mix of humor, heart, and just the right amount of swoon-worthy romance. The chemistry between the characters is electric, and their banter had me smiling nonstop. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough—there were twists, laughs, and plenty of moments that made my heart melt. If you’re looking for a fun, feel-good rom-com that will leave you grinning, this book is a must-read! Highly recommend! 💕📖 #IfTheRingFits #CamillaIsley #RomComReads #BookLover #MustRead

I enjoyed this. Fake marriage trope. A fun but kind of gross meet cute. A fairly light book with a nice, kind male main character. Some misunderstandings and a HEA. Overall I enjoyed it. It's the second book I've read by this author and I think I will read more - including the first in this series.

Unfortunately i DNFed this. I don’t think it’s a bad book by any means, but for some reason it was not picking my attention, maybe i’ll try it again someday and will like it better.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC!

Camilla Isley's style is new, humorous, and effortless conveying the feelings of her characters. The flow of the story is smooth, and the pace is perfect, keeping the reader interested all along. The dialogues are sharp and real, contributing to the genuineness of the characters and their relationships.
If the Ring Fits is a charming and heartwarming romance novel that lingers on. The entertaining plot, realistic characters, and humorous writing make it a highly recommended read among contemporary romance book lovers. Love, self-realization, and risk-taking themes appeal to the readers, hence making the book relatable as well as inspirational.
'If the Ring Fits' by Camilla Isley is a nicely written and enjoyable romance novel that I would strongly recommend to others. The strength of the book is its interesting plot, likable characters, and clever writing style. It is an ideal read for people who love light and feel-good love stories.

This is a perfect read for anyone looking for a lighthearted, feel-good story that will leave you smiling. It's a reminder of why romantic comedies are so beloved-they offer a delightful escape and a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, love can blossom in the most unexpected places.

Pretty boring, run of the mill, cookie cutter, closed door romance. Only finished reading it because I had nothing better to do. The writing wasn't anything special. Was actually pretty bland. Almost DNFed it in the beginning, but figured it was a Netgalley ARC so I could at least take the time to finish it. Not the book for me.

The joy that this book brought me was just perfect. I was struggling to find a read I could just grab onto and really enjoy until I came across this book. The start of this book was truly well done and that's huge for someone that usually avoids reading books with pregnancy - but this? So well done, so sweet, so funny, and just so right.
Rowena is...a mess. She's stunned by her doctors appointment and then suddenly is fired at work. Adrian is a hottie, but he's also a mess - with his workaholic attitude and his desire for a promotion to the point of lying about his personal life? The meet-cute is beyond adorable and truly this book reminds me of Love is Blind - but it's pretty much on steroids!
The fake engagement and marriage are not what either expected and it's just an absolute whirlwind of will they - won't they and all the reasons why it should never happen. The way that they argue with themselves is just hilarious because it's just so accurate given the situation!
I absolutely loved the fact that we had a really great STEM representation and was so glad that it really was in line with promoting women in the field. I also adored the friends - such amazing people and the support they gave to Rowena was next level. I also (oddly enough!) loved the ending - it felt genuine and I don't think I'll stop thinking about these characters for awhile.
Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the e-arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

This was a struggle to get through for me. The plot overall felt very amateurish and unoriginal, and it lacked conflict and tension. There are so many opportunities for interesting conflict with a pregnancy trope, especially one where the biological father is not the same as the main male character, but somehow this story avoided all of them.
Eg. Ex-bf just exits after one conversation and is gone forever (I totally thought he would later try to gain custody of his biological daughter and/or blackmail the couple, but no, he was actually just gone). Friends and family are all overjoyed at the news, no one is concerned or suspicious. Boss is easily convinced they’re together, no further drama with finding out it’s a ruse.
And of course, the guy is practically perfect in every way. Super rich, but also can easily make time to go to her doctor’s appointments, even though it’s literally the next day. He takes extra time to help her create her business plan. He never gets mad, always has a great reason for his actions, and is always considerate. And he’s super boring. But that’s ok, because honestly, so is she. I didn’t feel a connection to either character, and I felt like there were so many missed opportunities to create more well-developed characters.
It’s still a coherent story and all the basic elements are there, but it just lacks tension and conflict. At the end of the day, it’s just not interesting.

I really enjoyed this one. We follow Rowena and Adrian who set up a marriage of convenience. Rowena is pregnant and has just lost her job, Adrian needs to appear to be a family man to secure a promotion. It is the perfect solution to get married for 6 months and then go their separate ways but feelings may make it harder than they thought it was going to be.
I liked the chemistry between Rowena and Adrian. Right from when they first met these characters had really good chemistry and I couldn't wait to see their journey. This is a slow-burn romance. It takes quite a while for these characters to get together but it is worth it once they get there. This is a close-door romance. I loved seeing Adrian with the baby once she was born and would have liked to have seen more of the after when these characters got together.
Overall I enjoyed this one and I am looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I completely forgot to review this 🥲 This had a totally different vibe from book one, but ADRIAN is the nicest man in a marriage-of-convenience-with-pregnancy trope. Rowena was funny and practical at the same time, and their story developed in the most beautiful way! I absolutely cannot wait for Hunt & Dylan!!

2.75⭐️ Thank you NetGalley for this ARC, in exchange for an honest review!
I do like the HEA, and the writing style of the author was quite good! I like the way the writing flowed and the story itself was put together nicely. I did find multiple things within the book to be rather cringe though. I'm also not a huge fan of the concept or pregnancy plot. It just wasn't for me unfortunately. There were good moments and the characters overall were alright. I felt no connection to the MMC though!

This book was not only steamy, but had a great plot to go along with it! I'm new to reading books by Camilla Isley, and am now anxiously awaiting her next book. The characters felt real, and I really enjoyed the interactions. This kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat until the very end. Love it!

Camilla was a new to me author in 2024 and I have since read about 6 or so of her books now with plans for more--love all the holiday ones most. This was cute too--the banter between her characters is always fun and the messages/topics within each book are well thought out too. This fake relationship rom com was quick easy read.

* I want to start by thanking the author and publisher for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. not my favorite to be honest.

If the Ring Fits starts as a marriage of convenience between Rowena, newly pregnant and recently fired, and Adrian, cutthroat worker up for the CEO position in his company. Adrian needs to make his image more family oriented and tells his boss about his fiancee and the child they are expecting (which don't exist). As fate would have it Adrian and Rowena meet by chance and strike up a rapport and enter into a marriage of convenience. But as they start putting on a show for others, they both realize the attraction between each other and begin to wonder if this is real.
Camilla Isley never disappoints with her romance books. She writes great characters and wonderful yearning romance. I enjoyed Rowena's character as she was a softer FM. She had an underlying strength, but was not afraid to be vulnerable and acceot help. I did enjoy her coming into herself as the story went on and going after what she wanted.
Adrian was a huge cinnamon roll. Initially, he seems like he will be a tough guy but immediately shows a soft side whenever he is with Rowena. I loved how you could slowly feel him falling in love with Rowena. He was so caring of her and doing whatever he could t9 make her feel at ease
Their romance was sweet and full of them pining for each other most of the book. Everytime you thought they were going to give into their feelings, one of them pulled back. While I am not a fan of a pregnancy trope, I enjoyed how the author worked it into the story. Also, her portrayal of Rowena's difficulties as a new mother were very real and relatable. Readers could definitely feel her struggles. Another wonderful romance.

Did i enjoy it? So-so, premise was good, it took me almost a month to finish this, i struggled with the story.

This was definitely an easy read, cute and kinda funny. Not really for me, it seemed a little unbelievable (and I know there’s always a level of predictability in romance books). The meet cute was hilarious but even as far as marriage of convenience/fake engagement it was an oddly executed plot.
I did like the idea that it was focused on a women in STEM. Typically my bread and butter.

Thanks to NetGalley, Boldwood Books, and the author for the chance to read this book.
I am a sucker for Camilla Isley's rom-coms, they're super easy to read and keep my attention easily. The meet cute was so out there, but I loved the characters. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
