Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher and author for this ARC of The Student.
After what happened to my parents, I needed to start fresh, far away from the whispers and stares. Now, as a struggling university student, I barely scrape by, living in a new town where no one knows me or the tragedy I’ve tried to forget.
1- My personal favourite thing about this book is the short chapters it has 1 chapter 3 or 4 pages i just love it, it motivates me to read more
2- when the thriller is giving you a headache know that it’s good you are reading it and at the same time you are thinking hard about who is it and what’s happening
3- after 150 pages my jaw was on the floor I was not expecting this twist i was so shocked
4- the twists were coming one after another and i was like WHAT this was such a good thriller
twisty page turner and that's the truth
i would love to get the paperback of this book
once again thank you for accepting my request and allowing me to read this amazing book
i'll be sharing more on my GOODREADS account

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher and author for this ARC of The Student.
Didn’t take me long to finish this! I enjoyed the short chapters which meant I could read ‘just one more’ 😉.
I did suspect the final big twist and was proved right, but this was a fast paced, action packed read all the way! I also enjoyed The Headteacher by the same author, which I read earlier this year.
A decent four star read. Recommended.

Thank you Boldwood books, Netgalley and H.M Lynn for the eArc of The Student.
This is the second book of H M Lynn that Ive read and Im really enjoying these psycological thrillers. H M Lynn's writing style feels fluid with a slow burn, building up character development, tension and plot. Combined with the twists and turns, this made for a great thriller. This one particularly gripped me and finished within a sitting, I'm really looking forward to reading more from this author.
4.25 stars for Storygraph, 4 stars for other review sites.

Frankie is a survivor, after the murder-suicide (or was it a double murder? Frankie and the police see it differently) she has rebuilt her life, with a university scholarship and doting boyfriend. But when she takes a job as a ghostwriter has she found the one thing she can't survive?
This gripping book had me hooked and at points it was really unputdownable. The plot was unique and original and kept me guessing until the very end.
At times some of the characters fell a little flat for me. But it was still an extremely enjoyable read.

I Have read a lot of books by this author under her own name of Hannah Lynn but this is only the second one I have read under this genre. This as a slow burning intense read with lots of twists and turns and it kept me on my toes. It had an interesting and unique plot.
Highly recommend reading the headteacher if you enjoyed this one

This is another excellent thriller by H.M Lynn. The plot drew me in quickly and there were plenty of twists and turns that kept me guessing throughout the book. For me, it’s a very solid 4 star read.

Not a bad read for me personally but I did find parts of it a bit boring and I lost interest in the storyline
Unfortunately it wasn't an edge of seater or a great ending and I was slightly relieved when I got to the last page.
Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC.

My first book from this author and it was so good! Definitely a page turner and fast pace! I love how she made you feel like your part of the FMC thoughts! Also didn’t see that ending coming!!

I found this book to be very simple. It was an easy read but I found it slightly boring.
I didn’t find it very engaging but it was a quick read. I would almost give it more of a YA type of book. If you enjoy drama type mystery you might enjoy this. Or if you are just looking for something simple you should give it a try

2,5 stars rounded down to 2. The Student didn't do it for me. Frankie is a student who needs extra money. She takes a job as a ghostwriter. Way back, her parents were killed. Frankie doesn't know who her employer is, but as she's ghostwriting, she sees that her work is mirroring her own real life events. This book started off good. Then it just kind of stalled. I guessed the ending way at the beginning and felt like the rest of the book was just filling in the plot holes. With that said, there were still plot holes at the ending. I just could not get into the character of Frankie at all. I didn't like her and her gutter mouth. Honestly, I was happy when it was over.
Thank you to Boldwold Books and Netgalley for the ARC. I greatly appreciate it. I am sorry, but I do not recommend this book.

I received a free copy of, The Student, by H. M. Lynn, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Francesca is starting over after the deaths of her parents. I could not connect with Francesca at all, I did not care for her or her swear words.

This was quite an intense read with some quite dark topics covered.
I really wanted to like the main character as, she'd been through a lot but she wasn't easy to connect with, also wasn't a fan of her boyfriend, Duncan.
That being said I was invested in the story and although I worked out quite early on who Dr B was, I hadn't worked out his motive.
Thanks to netgalley for the opportunity to review this book this is my honest opinion.

Running from her past, Francesca is at universityand feels that a new job will help her keep focused.
She is accepted for a jib as a ghost writer and then things start to go awry.
This is a pacy thriller and I loved how the story progressed.
There is a brilliant twist and the descriptive and vivid story is an absolute gripping read.
I liked the characters and while the plot is a little predictable this did not put me off. I really enjoyed it

This book was a page turner I did not want to put down, it was an easy read and had me hooked from the start.
I figured out one of the twists, but the others I did not see coming. There are also a couple of questions I still have unanswered after finishing the book.
I would definitely look out for more books by this author in the future.

Wow a great plot with many nail-biting twists and turns throughout that really kept me on the edge of my seat and gripped till the very last page.
I like this authors writing style always keeps you guessing! I can’t wait for the next book!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars

Wow! What a nail biter, I loved this so much! The twists were revealed at just the right times and I really felt immersed in the main characters journey!

This work is replete with unexpected developments and features characters that are both relatable and intricately crafted. It comes with a strong recommendation.

Excellent thriller
Thank you for letting me read
Kept me guessing
Was unable to figure out the twist

I am enjoying this story since the mystery of who she is ghostwriting for is fascinating but annoyed by the friend storyline who is following her. The other issue has to do with what happened to her parents which feels like it is all tied together.

I couldn't put this book down. I finished in about a day and a half. Every time I thought I could predict the ending, a new twist would take me for a turn lol. Thank you Netgalley for sending me an early copy to review
