This book nicely filled in a cold wintery day of family reading. The book keeps the same interest and excitement of the previous books that we all love. This nicely rounded off the series.

This was imaginative and exciting story telling, featuring a wonderful cast of characters and beasties.

I came to the party late since it is also the final story in the Alex Neptune series. But it was easy enough to read as a stand alone book, and offers many interesting and insightful moments underlying the events in the story, despite being intended for middle grade readers. This one was good fun and gets 3.5 stars.

Another watery masterpiece.

This book is filled with everything that makes the previous books so special, from the majestic underwater creatures, to the amazing bonds of friendships.

This book was a perfect ending to the Alex Neptune series and tackled some pretty big topics for middlegrade books like dealing with feeling inadequate in tour friendship groups and loss.

I’ve loved every second of the Alex Neptune adventures and this final one is a total culmination of all of them. All his learning, all his people, all the might of the sea! I’m so sad this adventure is over, but there’s so many amazing messages about friendship, belief and protecting the ocean!
