of my kindle fire, while mooching about on amazon, I decided to list the books I'd got in date order and not yet read, and this one is one of the books I've had the longest, so that's the reason I started it. I've decided for the next couple of weeks now to do one old (as in I've had it a while and not read) and one of my newer, alternatively.
Erasmus is working a case to protect a high profile footballer. He's a bit like me and not at all a football fan.
​Erasmus and Pete seem to get along great, a good working duo.

​It is an interesting story, and in parts you want to keep reading, but there was something in this book that just didn't 'get me. I couldn't engage with the characters, I really don't know what it was, as I say interesting story line, maybe just not for me.

​I didn't realise when I started this book that it was Book 2 of 2 in Erasmus Jones series.
