Good story about a group of people trying to survive in a sudden & unexpected near-Ice Age. It's well paced and the characters are likeable. (Except for Benjy.) I do wish they'd think a bit more about planning ahead for difficulties, before walking off into a snowstorm.

This was a very interesting read. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite genre but it was written in a way that captivated me. Would recommend for people looking for a not too serious read.

Grace Hamilton is a very prolific author of post apocalyptic books. She maintains several series, all excellent and not one of them a rerun of the other stories. Each book has an original story of the end of life as we know it and how differing groups of people handle the circumstances they are thrown into. She builds so much detail into her stories, you can see and smell the smoke and devastation and feel the pain and helplessness of the characters. The books are fast paced and well thought out. I would recommend any of her series to someone looking for a great read about some scary new worlds.

On the plus side, I've learned enough from her books, I stand a good chance of surviving an EMP.

Endless Winter by new to me authors G. Hamilton and R. Miller, published by Relay Publishing contains all six volumes in this series. Previously published in two parts, this omnibus contains all six books. A fantastic dystopian read, action packed, drama laden, 5 stars.
