Words will not do this book justice, it was understandably very harrowing in detailing what various members of the Auschwitz women’s orchestra underwent. This book was very well researched detailing the women’s time during and after the Second World War. The author was very sensitive in terms of the subject matter and what they went through, showing the experience of both the Jewish and non Jewish members of the orchestra, in an easy to follow and engaging way (as much as it can be). I could never imagine truly what those in Auschwitz and other camps went through however this book did a good job of conveying the horror other feelings of thr holocaust.
