Thank you to Lyla Sage, Quercus, and NetGalley for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Overview:
Camille Ashwood has always loved a plan. But when her groom doesn't show up to their wedding, Cam's life is turned upside down - she doesn't even have a place to live. That is until she finds out the house she's loved since high school is available to rent. There's only one problem: the neighbour.

Dusty Tucker has spent nearly all of his adult life running from Cam - the girl who was his first, well, everything. But when she moves in next door, newly single, Dusty wants to show her that they can just be friends.

Despite her best attempts to stay far away from Dusty Tucker, Cam realizes that being close to him is like slipping on her favourite jeans. That is until past wounds start to open and feelings - both old and new - wreak havoc. Nearly ten years after they first met, Dusty and Cam begin to wonder if their first love can also be their last. And this time, will it be forever?

Review:
This just wasn’t for me. It’s written in first person and has a dual POV which just feels basic and very wattpad-esque. I think Lyla Sage is probably very strong at writing contemporary romances for people who love them already, but it isn’t interesting enough for anyone outside the genre to dip their toe into. It also isn’t strong enough as a stand alone, there’s a lot of callbacks to the rest of the series.

Review: Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage

Lyla Sage has done it again and I am absolutely feral over this book. I’m usually not big on second chance romance but Cam and Dusty may have converted me. Watching them fall, break apart, and find their way back to each other had me kicking my feet and clutching my chest. They are just meant to be 😭

The pining. The tension. THE FLIRTING. Chefs kiss 🤌🏻
The way Dusty knows Cam better than anyone else and goes after what he wants without hesitation? I am WEAK.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it forever, Lyla Sage just keeps outdoing herself. If you love second chances, small-town romance, and couples who are destined to find their way back to each other, drop everything and read this immediately.

4.5 stars - a wonderful romance full of sweet relationships, love and hope. The perfect send off to the series.

Having absolutely loved Lost and Lassoed I couldn’t wait to start Wild and Wrangled. I very much enjoy second chance romances especially when they are done well, which this one most definitely was. As with the other three books in the Rebel Blue Ranch series this was another heartfelt romance full of love and hope.

The flashbacks to when Cam and Dusty were high schoolers were sprinkled in perfectly, these moments added such depth to both of the characters as well as their relationship then and now. To see how much they had both grown and changed since high school and how they still felt so strongly about one another despite the years having passed was so sweet.

Dusty’s unwavering love and surety of his own feelings was the strength in this love story. He is unequivocally the epitome of a gentleman. To be there for Cam time and time again, supporting her and Riley’s needs, his maturity to know that the timing when they were kids just wasn’t right for them but that they could both work on themselves to be in a place where they could support, trust and love one another once again now 15 years later.

As with the other books the relationships (friendships and romantic pairings) are so beautifully written with such care and attention to the characters needs from each other. It was so lovely to see the progression of past characters (Teddy’s ‘step parent’ relationship with Riley) as well as fall in love with Dusty and Cam being together.

I absolutely loved the bonus chapter of Emmy and Luke’s wedding day. It was so sweet to have all the siblings and Amos together at her mother’s resting place. It was the perfect roundup to this heartfelt romance series, I am so sad to say goodbye to Rebel Blue and will miss these characters dearly.

Thank you Quercus, Lyla Sage for granting my arc request wish on Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was very cute and felt like a very nostalgic kind of love 🫶🏼 I honestly think I preferred the past tense chapters more than the present tense chapters!

This concluded the rebel blue ranch series really well. It was emotional, romantic, funny & spicy. Everything you’d want in a cowboy romance.

I think Lyla Sage’s writing gets better and better with every book 😍

The only reason I didn’t rate this book higher is simply just because I wasn’t a big fan of the FMC… but that’s just a matter of opinion. I would still recommend this book! 🥰

I really really loved this book. Dusty was a fantastic MMC. It was a really well done second chance romance and a great conclusion to the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Lyla Sage has created such a good found family and I’m very sad that the series has come to an end, but can’t wait for what she comes out with next.

Ugh DUSTY AND CAM 🫶🏻 what an ending to this series! I was so emotional reading their second chance at love and finding their way back to each other after so long.

Dusty is such a beautiful soul whose love for Cam never wavered. His restraint when he just wanted to love Cam with everything he had was heartbreaking but beautiful at the same time.

I just know that Dusty is the SEXIEST man in Meadowlark for sure 😍 the long hair, the nose ring, the tattoos, the cropped T-shirts, and also the fact that Ada and Emmy both commented on how attractive he is 🤣

I loved seeing Cam start living life for herself and Riley instead of trying to please her parents (they are the world’s worst parents for sure). So happy to see her get her HEA 🥰

A special mention to Riley for being an adorable child with no filter who doesn’t let the adults lie about their emotions 😆 and also Amos for being dad to basically everyone in Meadowlark and giving them the best advice every single time it was needed ❤️

The final book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series is a second chance romance between Cam & Dusty. If you've read the previous book, you know that Cam was left at the altar on her wedding day. This book continues immediately on from that.

I loved the chemistry between these two characters. The slow burn really worked for them, and when they finally reunited, it was done well.

I wish the storyline between Cam and her parents was a bit meatier. We met them briefly, and that was it, I feel like there was room to include them again, even if it was just Cam cutting them from her life. I feel it needed to be shown. The same goes for her wedding day. I understand that Cam didn't actually really want to be with Graham, but she didn't show any emotion at all really about being left at the altar.

Dusty was perfect - probably a bit too perfect, to be honest. He is gorgeous, funny, and kind, and I think his personality sometimes outshone Cam's. I loved the flashbacks to when they were teenagers in love, and Dusty's notes were so cute. I would have liked to learn about his travels. Did he ever fall in love with anyone else, or was it only ever, Cam?

Unfortunately, this wasn't my favourite book in this series, but I'm looking forward to seeing what Lyla Sage will write in the future.

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I refuse to believe that I’m saying goodbye to rebel blue ranch. The found family that I felt like I, personally was a part of 🏠
I have been anticipating Cam’s story since the beginning and let me tell you I was not disappointed in the least.
DUSTY THE MAN THAT YOU ARE ❤️‍🩹 this man is IN LOVE with my girl Cam. He is so down bad he would truly do anything for her. We get flashbacks from Cam’s teenage years about her and her parents messy and controlling relationship with her so it warmed my heart to see her finally get the love she deserves and how she was accepted into the Ryders big family and love her like she’s their own flesh and blood. My heart couldn’t handle the way that they all showed up for her when they knew she needed them without having to be asked. This is a book for the act of service girlies‼️
I really loved getting to see Riley again and watch her and Dusty’s friendship evolve. Dusty stepped up to be a great addition to her support system and Cam and Gus‘s co parenting team.
This book not only felt like a love story between Cam and Dusty but a love letter to us, the readers who have been following along with the story for however long. I think the series really has something for everyone and almost anyone will be able to find themselves in a character within the story 💌

“I'd never fallen out of love with Cam-not in all the time we were apart. Cam taught me what it was like to love and be loved. I took that with me around the world. I built upon it and every type of love I'd felt was compared to it, and nothing had ever come close-it was always her. It was always going to be her”

Thank you so so much to NetGalley and quercerus for giving me the chance to read an ARC copy 💙 I am so unbelievably grateful, thank you for giving me my first 5 star of the year x

4.5 stars
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this entire series and was looking forward to seeing how it would conclude with Cam and Dusty’s story.
I’ve actually not read a lot of second chance romances but this one has definitely swayed me to seek them out more often.
I really liked Dusty and could understand where Cam was coming from - most of the time.
It was great to see Riley and the whole Ryder extended family/town again and Rebel Blue is definitely a location that draws me in with each and every one of these books.
I also liked the tension that has built up between them by the point they end up the in the motel.
I will say, I did start to get a bit annoyed with how many times Cam rolled her eyes. This seems like a minor grievance but it started to bother me with how it was mentioned in so many of her chapters, again and again.
And the third act breakup - of sorts - was not my favourite either. Was it just me or did Cam totally overreact?
But, overall, this was a well paced and easy to read story.
I also loved the epilogue with Emmy and Brooks’ wedding. It really wrapped everything up nicely and was the perfect ending to the series.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Rebel Blue Ranch series, as it features relatable characters and a peaceful small-town setting. "Wild and Wrangled" is by far my favorite book in the series, closely followed by "Lost and Lassoed."

I was particularly intrigued by the hints regarding Cam and Dusty's relationship in the previous books. I could fully empathize with the struggles and obstacles faced by the high school star-crossed lovers as they mature and grow up.

This book addresses important subjects such as pregnancy trauma, emotional abuse, child co-parenting and female independence. If you're looking for a heartwarming small-town romance, I highly recommend giving this book a try!

Thank you, Lyla Sage and Quercus Books, for the opportunity to read this ARC through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Returning to Rebel Blue was everything I wanted it to be and more. I absolutely LOVED this book.
The back story between Cam and Dusty kept me intrigued whilst rooting for them to reconcile in current day.
I read this in one sitting as couldn’t stop turning the pages. The story cleverly evolved including all the other main characters from the previous books and it felt like coming home seeing them all again.
The Ryder family is one I wish I was a part of and I can be as I read these books over and over again.
An absolute winner.

Another great read from Lyla Sage, they are really racking up in this series. This is a lovely romance with old angst and passion buried away ready to burst forth. Old bruises are explored in flashbacks and this shapes the world that Ash and Cam live in as they work out what they want to do with their lives. The hard family relationships, notably for Cam, play their part and influence how she behaves and feels about herself. Luckily there is cute Riley to bring them all down to earth. Well worth a read.

DUSTY TUCKER, THE COWBOY THAT YOU ARE!!!

OMG!! Lyla really did save the best for last with this one cause oh my this was everything.

From the moment Dusty met Cam, he was down bad for her and the fact it never went away had me swooning. He played the long game and it won in his favour. It was so great to see Cam grow into herself and find her own happiness, especially with the help of her found little family. Watching Dusty with Riley was too cute as well. I just love this little small town and everyone in it.

It was good to be back in this world, I'm so sad this was the last book but that bonus eiplouge tied everything up perfectly.

Best one yet, perfect way to wrap up our time at Rebel Blue Ranch. Second chance romance and friends to lovers will always be my favourite and the duel timeline made it even better. I loved dusty and cams story and the bonus epilogue was everything I wanted it to be.

The perfect end to a fantastic series.

From the opening Authors Note, I knew that this was going to be a good one and this book did not disappoint.

Dusty and Cam are clearly meant to be together and I really enjoyed both having their own chapters and the flashbacks to an earlier time in the lives.

Despite this being Cam and Dusty’s story to tell the whole Rebel Blue family shows incredible camaraderie and it’s really wholesome to read about a family that shows their flaws but also have each other’s backs. There are so many wrap up moments throughout this book and some parts feel really special to read.

Would 100% recommend reading this book and series especially if you love small towns, cowboys and second chance romances.

Thankyou for the chance to review this book.

My favourite book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series.

Cam & Dusty forever 💕

This story was so beautiful, I loved everything about it. Lyla’s writing was so moving, and from the first page I couldn’t put it down.

Cam & Dusty’s story is one that spans 15 years and seeing the glimpses of their past as they find their future was so magical.

Of course Lyla also didn’t disappoint, the spice was 🔥 and let me just say that Dusty Tucker might be my favourite man in this series.

I’ll miss Rebel Blue, Lyla you’ve created the most gorgeous world.

Thank you to Quercus and NetGalley for the arc 🫶🏻✨

Right well… for starters, finishing this book made me feel so empty and put me in a huge slump because HOW IS THIS SERIES OVER?!? You mean I can’t go back to Rebel Blue Ranch?!? It just cannot be😩😩😩
Dusty and Cams story truly felt like an epic love! The second chance at first love element was beautiful. The secret love letters filled with so much pining, yearning and heart break damn near broke me! Dusty deserved the absolute world and all I wanted was for him to get his HEA. It felt like an emotional rollercoaster reading their journey as I was tossed between feeling so angry at Cam for putting Dusty through what she did, to then feeling like they were made for each other!
Dusty just understood Cam to her bones and no one can tell me they don’t want to be loved the way that he loved her!!!
Out of the series this book also had the slowest burn. I don’t know if that’s because of the now and then duel timeline or the tension that we were fed throughout the first three books but I was DESPERATE for them to finally give in to their desires. And when that cord snapped!!!!! Well it was HOT!! The best spice! 🔥🔥🔥
This series is a small town, found family & cowboy romance lovers dream! The way that I truly believed I was living on this ranch and that these characters were my best friends… well it was impeccable and also a rude wake up call once I’d finished.
Run to read this series if you haven’t already and get pre-ordering this book guys!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've loved the whole rebel blue ranch series, and this final book was no different.
Finally, we get Dusty and Cam's story, including their past. This was definitely more of a slow burn than some of the other books in the series as they had their issues to work through, and there was some self sabotage too but all in all, this was a lovely ending to the series! Also, I loved the bonus epilogue, too!

Thank you to Quercus books and Netgalley for the arc of this book for my honest review. It was a great read, and I can't wait to see what Lyla brings us next.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.5/5 🌶️🌶️1.5-2/5

Tropes:
🌹Single Mum
🌹Second Chance Romance
🌹Small Town Romance

Well I didn’t think I could love a couple as much as I adored Ada and Wes but Cam and Dusty were utter perfection.

Dusty and Cam date in their late teens until competing priorities force them apart, Dusty leaves Meadowlark to travel the world and Cam soon finds herself pregnant with another man’s baby. Despite their years apart Dusty and Cam have undeniable chemistry, the tension was palpable and Dusty is now my favourite Lyla Sage MMC ( sorry not sorry, Wes).

“I don’t even know if I can start over because I don’t know if I ever actually started in the first place.”
This line was just *chefs kiss*

I loved this book so much more than I thought I would, Lyla Sage did a phenomenal job writing this and it may just be in my top 5 romance reads of 2025 and I will be comparing every book couple to Cam and Dusty.

Thank you to Quercus Books and NetGalley for the ARC.
