This book is for any older child who is fascinated with ocean animals. It includes step by step instructions and just like any other National Geographic book it is packed with Did you know facts which is brilliant!

I'd recommend this book for children 6+ depending on your child's drawing abilities. Pair it with a quality sketchbook and the finished product will be outstanding! I've enjoyed trying to draw along with my children and it was a pleasant bonding activity.

A great book for 6-9 year old, my daughter just turned 8 and loved it. As a parent these National geographic books are great, easy to learn steps for children to follow on how to draw sharks, fish, whales and turtles to name a few. What me and my daughter particularly loved was the photos and facts about the animals that my daughter was learning to drawer. We discussed these animals and learnt more about some of my daughter’s favourite animals. This is great because it engages the child so simply and makes learning new things fun. This is an accessible, fun guide for kids on how to draw ocean animals. The step by step pictorial guides are easy to follow and provide a lot of fun.

As someone who cannot draw a straight line with a ruler, I have really enjoyed this book.
I have been going through it with my seven year old niece and she has loved it too.
