I really wanted to review these, as I have a friend, whose son is an avid little drawer and I thought these may be great to purchase and gift to him.
As well as how to draw each animal, there are also facts on the pages too which I found cool, but when it came to the actual drawing, more details were needed, not only for the drawings themselves, but like tips and tricks along with them too.
There’s a good foundation here to be good books to teach drawing, but it just felt like something was missing.
Thank-you NetGalley, Collins Reference and National Geographic for a Digital Advanced Readers Copy of each of these books, in exchange for an honest review.

With thanks to the author, publishers Collins Reference, and NetGalley for providing me with a DRC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Although this book is no doubt aimed at a young audience, as someone who has never been able to draw, I appreciated the step by step approach used in the drawing of each of the animals presented, initially using basic shapes that everyone would be familiar with, before adding some more subtle details.
My 10 year-old daughter (a far better artist than me!) also thought the book was great. She liked the wide variety of cute animals to choose from, and the fun facts about each one.

Another big hit for my family, a step to step guide on drawing animals such as puppies and piglets, step to step instructions great for adults to follow as well. Again with this book there is photos and facts to accompany the instructions, again as a family we had fun learning about these animals and for my daughter it felt more like fun than sitting down and learning things. As a parent I would recommend these books over and over again.

If you or your child would love to learn to draw such cute animals then this is the book for you. Set out with simple steps on how to draw different animals with a fact about them too. The pages are bright and eye catching aswell. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

As someone who cannot draw a straight line with a ruler, I have really enjoyed this book.
I have been going through it with my seven year old niece and she has loved it too.
