Thank you so much for letting me read this book. I am sure some people will be able to take something from this book. I just am not one of them.

This book is full of great ideas for organising and streamlining - it's a cliche to be your best self, but there's a lot here to help with that. Author Shira's reasons for getting organised make so much sense: efficiency, clarity & control, freedom, tranquility and sustainability. By taking on even a couple of Shira's ideas, there's a way to feel better about yourself and the way that you live - no arguments from me! She profiles organisers from around the world, so even if your style is completely different to hers, there's something here that will appeal - either the sentiment or the aesthetics.

It is rare for me to find some fresh organisational tips and new ways and tools about home life. I found this book to be useful and the case study-approach was very engaging.

'Organised Living' by Shira Gill is an organisational tool book the reader can use for inspiration and practical tips in their home. Gill also speaks about herself and how she became a part of the organising profession which was interesting view I hadn't thought of before.

This was a perfect organisation book; it was aesthetically pleasing, had fun interviews and contained practical recap tools at the end of each section. I loved the people who were interviewed the most. They were all great and talented individuals and getting to look into their homes and use them as inspiration was amazing. It also created a diverse view point and style guide as everyone was different from each other.

Compliments to the photographer as the pictures are a high standard.

I would recommend this book to people who have just moved into their own home or looking for a 'spring' clean.

I picked up Organised Living at just the right time, and found it such a practical and interesting read.

I really enjoyed the case stories and tips from such a wide variety of people with different values and living situations. It made it easy to pick out the tips that really resonated personally. I particularly enjoyed the cheat sheets, which brought together Lot of the advice into neat little summaries, making things seem a lot more manageable. The photographs are beautiful, offering plenty of inspiration.

The book focuses on organisation for efficiency, stress management, aesthetics, sustainability and many other important areas - I liked that it had a less consumerist feel. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to reduce chaos in their space in the new year!

Thank you Octopus Publishing for a copy of this book. Opinions expressed are my own.

Unfortunately and due to formatting problems it was not easy to read this book, but it was full of very good suggestions (easier to apply with a big house of course) also quite inexpensive.

Purtroppo e per problemi di formattazione non é stato facile leggere questo libro, peró era pieno di ottimi suggerimenti (piú facili da applicare con una casa grande ovviamente) anche piuttosto economici.

I received from the Publisher a complimentary digital advanced review copy of the book in exchange for a honest review.
