This is a fun, exciting, heartfelt anthology full of stories that not only make you want to read more, but also discover what the author has written, outside of these alone. I have my favorites, have the ones the stood out the most, but overall, it’s a great read and a quick and romantic escape.

3+ ⭐ as a whole

This is an anthology with a total of 6 short love stories. I thought it was a good idea to read this ARC around San Valentine's time, so here we are!

1 ❁ Stupid cupid by Luna Day
Nice depiction of Cupid, he seemed pretty hot. The story was mostly nice but I couldn't get involved because it was really too short (I suppose this will be the mantra for all the stories on this because the are 6 in 160 pages 😬).
If we leave the flavoured man and girl's bits and enlarge the rest this could transforme into a rally cool longer story.

2 ❁ The hand-off by Ellory Douglas
It was steamy and hot, with a somewhat sad ending (?). There were two men, I thought it might be a 3way story but... No. Is this actually meant to be part 1 of a longer story?!

3 ❁ Love ink by Marlee Ryan
Best friend's brother trope.
This one was actually really nice 🩷
Short, yes, but considering they've known each other all their lives it didn't leave me wondering if they at lest have exchanged names before 😆

4 ❁ All My Love by Mimi Gunn
Sweet story, less spice and more family ties.
I don't know if the authors have the possibility in mind, but I think this has so much potential as a 300+ pages book.

5 ❁ Skeleton Mds4a by Ivy Dawes
This was puzzling. The romance was ideally nice, but there wasn't enough. The story as a whole was really interesting and with a high potential to be some sort of romance magical mystery 🧐

6 ❁ Be Mine by Violet Pearce
Cute and hot. The moment I visualised him in my mind with his Viking aura I was gone.

It seems there is something for everyone in this book. The stories and couples are all so different! And I realised I would be up to read an extended version of... Practically all of them.

// Thank you to Netgalley, all the authors and Love Lit Press for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange of my honest opinion //

First of all I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book.

Overall it was a really enjoyable book with fun stories. My main problem with it was that the authors were trying to create too much in such a small space, but it made me curious to read other things by those authors.

Thank you so much NetGalley for this ARC!

This is just the perfect collection of short stories for someone that is having a book hangover. I have been having the hardest time sticking to another book, but this collection has cured me!! The stories are the perfect length, with the reader getting thrown into the story from page one. Every single one was so easy to follow and captured my attention from the first sentence.

I will have to say that my personal favourite was Luna Day's short story. Cupid being lonely on Valentines Day!! I LOVE IT! It is a quick, spicy story that was impossible to put down.

Everything about this was amazing, from the MMC's to the dedication. This is just the perfect collection of romance stories and I loved every second!!

This was a cute and spicy romance anthology just in time for Valentine’s Day. It was great to read a variety of stories from a group of talented Canadian authors. I really enjoyed Luna Day’s, Stupid Cupid, and All My Love by Mimi Gunn. There is a wide range of tropes within Love Between the Lines and it is sure to have something for everyone.

The cutest (and sexiest) little love stories back to back to back! Just a little plot, and then some steam to round it all out, and every trope you can think of. You can find something you’ll like here, I swear.
A very quick and easy read if you need palette cleansers or just something fun!

Love between the lines review

With a range of spice (from 🌶️ to 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️) and a wide variety of tropes, Love between the Lines: a romance Anthology has something for everyone! 6 amazing authors and 6 short stories you are sure to find some you love!

Stupid Cupid by @lunadaywrites
Spice 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️
Tropes: fated mates, strangers to lovers, mythical romance.
Notes: is a really unique take on Cupid. Told from mostly Cupid's point of view, I love that it even pokes fun at the Stupid Cupid song! Cupid who normally can't be seen by humans, meets Alma, who not only can see him, but likes what she sees. This story made me wish for more! I would love to read an extended version of it!

The Hand Off by @authorellorydouglas
Spice 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️
Tropes: age gap, athlete x trainer, sports romance
Notes: 2 main male characters and a female main character. Love that the female main character isn't a size zero! I liked the story and found it ended too soon! You totally get the vibes that although Maisie is with Griffin, she could totally have some fun in the future with Noah too!

Love Ink by @authormarleeryan
Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes: best friend's brother, forced proximity, contemporary romance
Notes: The title makes so much sense when you realize the main character is a tattoo artist and that's the name of the tattoo shop. Check this story out for some supply closet/tattoo shop fun!

All my love by @mimigunnbooks
Spice 🌶️
Tropes: matchmaking, strangers to lovers, small town romance
Notes: Julia inherits a house after her grandmother passed away. She also Inherits a very friendly neighbor named Harry, who happens to be single and cute! I love the inclusion of all the notes Julia finds along the way!

Skeleton MDS4A by @authorivydawes
Spice 🌶️🌶️
Tropes: paranormal, rivals to lovers, dark academia
Notes: Is about two archeologists, Amelia and Ian and what they uncover.

Be Mine by @violetpearceme
Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes: small town, black cat x golden retriever, romantic comedy
Notes: centers around Samantha and Frank and a cabin in the remote woods.

Huge thank you to all these lovely authors, for giving me an arc and letting me read it before it was released to the public!

This was more like 3.75 but I rounded it up to 4.

It was my first time reading short stories and overall I really enjoyed it. I only knew one of the authors so i liked that I got to explore new (to me) authors. I liked some stories more than others - Cupid was an interesting read to me - I was very intrigued by the whole concept so it made sense that it was the first story 😅. The Hand Off, Love Ink, All my Love and Be Mine were my favorite in no particular order. But all of the story were sexy and steamy and delivered exactly what was promised! 🥵

Love Between the Lines
anthology
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
🌶️ 3/5

This is my first time trying to review an anthology, so figuring out how to judge the total by the sun of its parts is a new concept. Overall, this is a great snackle box of romance. Something for everyone, and all of it bite sized.
My favorite by far was Ellory Douglas’ The Hand-Off. This rugby teammates and trainer novella has turned me into a DM-sliding pest, begging for a full length novel of these characters.

This was definitely something different to read. It's a collection of 6 short stories and I did find it difficult to finish. Some of the stories I really enjoyed and would love if they was full book but others I didn't really enjoy.
It was lots of smut with not much plot. I could see there being something for everyone but only if you like smut.

Okay this collection was hot, Hot, HOT! Perfect for those short reads in between novels when you get a book slump. Right off the bat the book is so spicy and gets you hooked, there are so sweet not so spicy stories mixed in but overall, it's a hot mix!

the dedication says it all, IYKYK =)

It's a fun collection of spicy short stories. Each story featured unique characters, with varying lengths and spice levels. They all had a different trope, and were all incredibly fun! These delightful, swoon-worthy stories were all well-written and kept me hooked from start to finish.

This was a great palate cleanser between my ARCs!!

I couldn't help but fall in love with some of these characters! I will need full versions of some of these stories

Overall I had a great time!!!

I loved being able to experience so many different authors in one place! Getting a little snippet from each was refreshing and a fun way to discover new names!

The stories were all short, and to the point. None of them lacked that emotional attachment to the characters and I simply wanted more from them all! I am so thankful to have received an advance copy through Ellory Douglas. This was the perfect teaser from each author to keep us coming back for more!
