Now, I preface this by saying that I'm not usually a fan of convoluted time travel stories, but this wasn't one of those, so I thought I'd give it a go.
It's not bad. But I didn't love it either. I found it difficult to gel with the main characters who seemed (to me at least) to vacillate between period appropriate behaviour and a more modern approach.
I thought the premise was a decent one. It just didn't quite work out in practice to my mind I'm afraid.
