This book was a quick read that could have been so much more. After two years of guilt and hiding, Felicity wakes up one morning and decides her dead husband isn't going to control her life anymore. On top of that, she was also dominated by her mother who also encouraged her husband's despicable behaviour. She is also quite wealthy and can buy the little cottage she has seen in a magazine and move out of London to the countryside. She realizes that after everything she has been through, she can still love. It is a lovely premise, but it falls short. The story feels like someone is talking at you and telling you the story rather than pulling you in and involving you with it.
It is a nice little romance/drama where everything turns out wonderful. If you like that type of story without much character development pick this one up.
