Fun and cute! It reminded me of Horimiya, with the MMC having a completely different style outside the school.
The overall plot was nice and I’m looking forward for the next volumes.

A not bad quick read. They both had sharper sides to them but overall I think it’s a not bad plot for a story

The premise is a bit silly and kind of weak. Otogi Katsura and Toki Ninomae are the most beautiful, perfect and liked students of their high school. But one time, when they’re waiting for a train, she’s forced to angrily defend herself against harassers, causing him to reveal his angry side too. Basically, it’s just the two of them standing up for themselves.
Nontheless, they treat the existence of their firmer side as something shameful yet exciting that has to be hidden from others, and bond over that. Otherwise, they’re genuinely nice, even if they often have to put on an act. No delinquents or false angels, even if they aren’t as perfect as everyone believes. I presume that the plot from here on, besides the budding romance, is both of them letting go of their façades.
This was cute, but not interesting enough to continue, although some tougher topics were dealt with too. Art was nice.

Lovely shoujo manga!
Otogi Katsura & Toki Ninomae. Both are seen by their peers a “perfect” however they both have a secret more “badass” side they only show in private. Love the dynamic between the two of our main characters and the crushes that are already forming. This has the classic shoujo feel but I’m interested to see how their secret “badass” attitudes play into the story later in the series!

e-ARC from NetGalley.
The two kindest, most beautiful students in class have a secret: They're not actually that nice. When they discover that they share this secret, their relationship changes.
I'm not sure what I expected from this story, but I don't feel like I got it. This was a very shallow introduction without any real stakes or emotion, so it was hard to connect with any element of this story.
If we got more info on their backstories, I might have been more drawn in.

Cute romance manga! I enjoy the main characters and can't wait to see how they develop! I usually hate longer titles for manga but I actually love this one, rolls off the tongue better than some.
Thanks to NetGalley for the copy!

I managed finish Fall in love, You False Angels vol 1 in one sitting, that addictive it was.
The story is about Otogi who is viewed at her school as the most beautiful, smart good girl, but she has hidden true self which she tries to hide from everyone, but one day she slips out in front of Togi, student who has the same reputation as she has. This accident made them interact more than they used to, and made them find out they're similar than they thought.
It's a really cute and charming story, with beautiful illustrations. The romance isn't forced, it's slowly showing up bit by bit. I'm enjoying about it that the story is centered around Otogi and Togi, and side characters are really put aside and I can focus only on their story and journey. Can't wait to find out more in next volume.
Thank you Netgalley for the arc.

I finished Volume 1 of "Fall In Love, You False Angels" in one sitting, and I'm still kicking my feet and giggling. This story is adorable on many fronts while still managing to make the romance fresh and fun. The main characters are always at the center of attention, and although all other characters sort of slide into the background as a whole, I didn't mind. I wanted as much "screen time" with Otogi and Toki as I could get in about 190 pages.
I was drawn to the two-sided nature of the main protagonists, but the story didn't give us a lot of their background or home situations. As I already plan to grab the Volume 2 as soon as it's published, I hope I'll learn more about Otogi and Toki. But this is still a solid romance-in-the-making tale. I chuckled several times because the author has a way of capturing rather realistic visceral responses from Otogi. And who hasn't wondered what it's like to be one of "God's favorites" (blessed with otherworldly visuals, intelligence, and charm for days). "Fall In Love, You False Angels" is going to be a fantastic series. Coco Uzuki, you're amazing!

Thank you to Netgalley and Kodansha Comics for the opportunity to read and review this manga. This manga is honestly one I am not sure about..... the art is beautiful but how do I put it..... there's not anything unique about it except for the art. I think it's one I want to reread when I'm in a better headspace. 3 out of 5 stars.

This manga is so much fun!
I'm a sucker for characters who play a part based on societal expectations, but are completely opposite in their private lives, and this manga does it so well! Both of the main characters are very interesting, and though I don't usually read high school romance, they made this an enjoyable read. Seeing the dissonance between their "soto" and "uchi" personalities will surely make for fun future shenanigans.
The art in this manga is lovely. I really enjoy the style and the humor is also excellent.
A gold star goes to the translation team on this one. It was very easy for me to tell when the characters were using formal speech and when they were speaking as their casual selves.
This is a very strong start for a series and I can't wait to see more!
Thank you to Kodansha and Netgalley for the ARC.

I just love manga (and let's be real, books and TV shows and movies...) where someone has a hidden or secret or alternate identity. Otogi Katsura is the class president and is an "angel," perfect and beautiful - but secretly she's sort of a b@d@$$! Then she finds out her prefect and lovely VP, Toki Ninomae, is the same way! Cue her falling for him - but she's not sure if she's falling for his hidden bad boy side (that undercut! those piercings!) or if she's now also falling for his perfect lovely guy image as well.
The art style in this mana is just *dreamy sigh* so lovely. I can't wait for volume 2!

**ARC provided by NetGalley for honest review**
Fall In Love, You False Angels, Vol. 1 by Coco Uzuki was a refreshing take on the shoujo school romance manga. It follows a first-year president and vice president who both happen to find out about each other's alternate identities outside of school and how that brings them closer together. It is very funny, sweet, and charming. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this volume and will definitely be continuing the series if I get the chance!

Fall in Love, You False Angels is gap moe x2 -- it borders on the vibes of KareKano (but what if the couple were both actually perfect, and knew it? And both were putting on an act to seem even more perfect?) with gorgeous art and really had me smiling several times throughout the volume. I immediately looked up when the next volume is coming out (April 8, btw) and made a note to keep up with the series. So cute.
Thank you to Kodansha and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for review! Read it!

This manga was a fun read. The idea of being two-faced and only trusting someone who really saw you with being who you really are. It was romantic and cute. Filled with banter that felt easy and fun. It’s the beginning stages of falling in love while sharing the truth of what love is. Being with the person that you can most trust being yourself with. Supporting each other and truly caring about one another.
I really enjoyed this including the roughness of the characters. It was entertaining and I’m happy I got the opportunity to spend some time with these characters. If you like a fun romance you’ll enjoy Fall in Love, You False Angels.

I finished this book this morning and I've been thinking about how I feel about it for a few hours now. When I first started I was ready to write it off after the first few pages. I'm glad I kept reading, because I do think I liked the story. The characters just made me feel some type of way that's hard to describe. It's like they are fake with everyone except each other, and while that is cute or romantic or whatever. It feels weird that they feel they need to live this way. I like the dynamic that is being developed between the 2 main characters and if they end up in a relationship I'm sure it's going to be cute. It's overall just an odd read and feeling I get from the start of this series.
I think overall I'm just not sure how this manga made me feel, I'm sure many people are going to love it and personally I will probably continue the series because I am intrigued to see where their relationship goes.
Thanks to #NetGalley for an e-copy of #FallInLoveYouFalseAngels to read and review.

I didn't really understand this one. I can tell the direction this is going, and I would usually enjoy it, but the "dark" or "other side" of each character is not as harsh of difference as I would like, which makes it uninteresting. I'd skip this and read Maid Sama! instead.

Instant fan of this series! The art is gorgeous and the MCs are so intriguing. I love the concept of two high school students who are seemingly perfect and kind and gorgeous but each has a darker side they never show to the public. Once their masks slip they're able to see the other clearly and have someone they can fully be honest with. Such a fun shoujo manga, I can't wait for volume 2!

Really cute subject!
Would be great for fans of Au no Haru or Miyamori. A very wholesome read with some undertones of mystery later on.
