What an excellent written and researched book! This is invaluable to those of us struggling to navigate and progress within neurotypical environments. A must read resource for anyone interested in progressing to leadership who is not neurotypical

Adhd here,it was never easy and you were praised for your creativity and scolded for not always being focused
In a moment when there’s a risk of having to go back to being closeted this is very useful

I cannot recommended this book enough! I only wish I had come across it sooner. I once held a leader position at a large corporation, but I struggled with the hidden curriculum (the unwritten social code). I am now self employed. The individual who hired me appeared to be on the spectrum and was pushed out after a year, despite top performance because he struggled with the hidden curriculum. A manager below me with ADHD was routinely treated differently than others due to bias. The experience was eye-opening. Companies are losing valuable employees because although they seek to be champions of diversity, many struggle with inclusion of neuro- and social diversity. There is a lot to be discussed and learned about neurodivergence at the workplace and how to how to capitalize on neurodivergent strengths. Nearly one in five adults identify as neurodivergent, so this is a much needed book! The book isn't limited to leadership, in my opinion. It's for neurodiverse employees, their colleagues, contractors, and family members. The icing on top where the thoughtful and engaging exercises included in the book.

I loved this book!
It can be a great resource to many audiences from leaders to scholars, neurodivergent individuals (professionals) looking for some advice for their work place life and personal life, researchers of the work place and neurodiversity, those in people and culture, team leaders, and the general reader.
It has such a wide target audience in my opinion because the advice and information in this book are not limited to leadership. If you take leadership as communication, guidance, and negotiation in the many aspects of life, then you can see how this comprehensive book can offer value.
The structure and the topics were great. Many of the exercises and examples were fresh and engaging.
