Thank you Netgalley and for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. The opinions written are completely honest and my own.

Although I'm not a fan of this book, my Godson loved it so he is doing the review as the target audience.

It's not just a book there are thing to do like writing your own raps and rap alphabet.

The illustrations are cool.

The story is fun.

He's Tricky Hustle and he gives 5 stars

Love the fun, warm, chatty style of the book and the main character's train-of-thought approach. A very accessible book and I'm sure MC Grammar will get children excited about it on the road. He has an incredible track record in championing reading for pleasure so it's lovely to see him make his debut on the page.

(Teeny thing to add - gatekeepers should know that the advance copy did contain references to Fortnite. Not sure if they're still in the final though.)

We love MC Grammar in my class and I’ve been looking forward to reading his Adventures of Rap Kid for a while.

Z only speaks in rhyme. The Royal Rap Rumble is coming to town and Z and SFX, helped by Mr G - English teacher extraordinaire, are going to take on the challenge.

The book is interactive throughout, talking directly to the reader with lots of things to think about and complete along the way. My kids will definitely enjoy reading it and see a lot of similarities with Z and themselves I think.

I think I might be a tad too old for this. I found it hard to get into the book but I have a feeling that my students, its target readers, will love this one and find it fun to do the rapping. It might probably better if I read it out loud and God forbids rap with them as we read. Reading it alone after teaching kind of takes the fun out of it.

I am glad I was able to read a copy of this book and have purchased a few copies for our library. I really wanted to be a huge fan of this book as I love MC Grammar and promotehis work at school. I found it funny it parts and love the activities throughout. I showed some pages to my 12 year old and he said he would read it and found it funny. So I rate this book with a 12 year head not my adult head.
