Charlie has a double life, to the outside work she is Charlotte, perfect sorority girl in STEM, but under the darkness of night she is Charlie, a girl who has desires and lets loose.
She is also on the hunt for her biological family, after being adopted at birth, she’s finally signed up to an ancestry site to solve her curiosity about her Korean heritage.
Beckett is a lovable Aussie and a total flirt!! He projects this cheeky persona but he’s hiding a whole heart of pain. He’s not looking for love, just a good time. Oh Beckett, just you wait for Charlie!!
Will is a gentle sweetheart. He’s a congressman’s son and has to fit into that perfect persona.
The mix of these characters was perfect. The boys took care of Charlie so beautifully. She was fighting the fact that she would be shamed for enjoying both of them.
As the story evolved it really didn’t feel like a MMF spice fest, you could see they enjoyed each other’s company and reading as they fell for each other was so beautiful. Such good character depth and plot!! Elle Kennedy always does this so well 🤌🏼
This book had me giggling, the camaraderie between the hockey boys is so good!! But it also had me tearing up. A whole rollercoaster of emotions.
I honestly didn’t know how it would end, I didn’t know which avenue Elle would go down. I read in the author’s note at the end that two ending were written, I’m so curious to know what the other ending would be!! 🤔
Oh and The Dad Chat that was sprinkled throughout the book was giving all the nostalgia!! I loveeeee how we got to hear from some familiar faces! Made me want to reread the off campus and briar U series 🤭
I have loved this Campus Diaries series, can’t wait to see what Elle writes next ❤️

The Charlie Method by Elle Kennedy was steamy, fun, and full of heart! Charlie is living a double life—nerdy STEM student by day, carefree risk-taker by night—and when she connects with hockey players Will and Beckett, things heat up fast.
I loved the depth of the characters, especially how Charlie struggled with societal judgment and self-acceptance. Will and Beckett’s friendship was one of my favorite parts—they had such great banter and chemistry. The triple POV worked surprisingly well, and while I was unsure about the throuple dynamic at first, I ended up really enjoying it.
There was a lot of back and forth about what they all truly wanted, and at times the romance felt a bit messy, but the emotional growth and spice made up for it.
Overall, this was a fast-paced, addictive read. If you love hockey romance with tension, humor, and steam, this one’s for you!
Very grateful to the publisher for my copy through NetGalley, opinions are my own

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow!! What can I say - this was a fantastic read ! I devoured it so fast, I simply couldn’t get enough of Charlie, Will or Beckett
This was my first MFM read (no sword crossing ⚔️!!)
By far the spiciest hockey romance I’ve read so far. Despite the spice, there was a great plot too. The characters each had a lot of depth to them and they had well developed back stories which added to the overall plot
I found Charlie’s character very relatable. She is a nerdy, hot girl in STEM who leads almost a double life. There are 2 versions of her. Charlotte, the prim and proper sorority girl, and Charlie, the care free fun girl, who’s all for trying new things
The triple POV worked well, and although I was hesitant reading about a throuple, I definitely fell in love with both Will and Beck. I really loved their friendship too, they are very different to one another but also understand each other so well, and their banter really bounces off one another
I like that the book tackled shame and how women are looked down on for enjoying a healthy sex life and experimenting. Seeing Charlie battle with this side of her was interesting to read
The fan fiction bits felt a bit random and out of place, but I also kinna loved it. I enjoyed that there were other little side storylines such as exploring being an adoptee
The dad chat was so funny!!
Definitely get this read asap, you won’t regret it
I want to say a massive thank you to NetGalley, Little, Brown Book Group UK, and Elle Kennedy for the ARC! I can’t wait for the next one 🏒

3.5⭐️ I really really tried my best to psych myself up for this despite it being a MFM romance.. I thought Elle Kennedy would change my mind but alas, it did not.
Take out the romance I would have loved this.

- I loved Charlie's adoption story. I love books with this. AND SHE'S A STEM GIRLIE! I need more STEM girlies. I felt so bad for her bio brother. And feeling a sense that she had to constantly achieve something to make her feel worth it when they adopted her
- Gigi just absolutely loving and supporting her hubby Ryder 🥰
- I need Blake Logan and Isaac Grant ! I need more of their story, I need to know what happened after that party ! He was so smitten 🤭 and the fact t that their story would be based around football and not hockey would be so interesting!
- Beckett's backstory is so sad, it gives him a lot of substance.
- Will's dirty talk 🥵
❌️ 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙙❌️
- the romance...what people do in their time is their business, but in books it's messy and always complicated
- the spicy scenes 👀 as sexy as they were, it was too much movement going on 😅
- I feel like there was a lot of back and fourth in what they all really wanted.
Thank you to Netgalley, Little Brown Books and Kennedy for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
Steamy, hilarious, and packed with heart, The Charlie Method by Elle Kennedy is a wild ride from start to finish! This third installment in the Campus Diaries series brings us a heroine living a double life, two swoon-worthy hockey players, and a whole lot of tension—both on and off the ice.
Charlie (aka Charlotte) is smart, bold, and unapologetically herself but at the same time also deeply insecure and anxious, whether she’s excelling in STEM or pushing the limits of her alter ego. Will and Beckett bring their own brand of charm, complications, and undeniable chemistry. Their dynamic? Off. The. Charts. Kennedy delivers her signature mix of spice and emotional depth, making this book impossible to put down.
While the angst and external pressures kept me hooked, I did feel like certain conflicts wrapped up a bit too quickly. Still, the sizzling romance and heartfelt growth made it an addictive read. Fans of Off-Campus and Briar U—you’re in for a treat!
Thank you to NetGalley, Little, Brown Book Group UK, and Elle Kennedy for the ARC! 💙🏒

First of all Elle Kennedy is an autobuy author and The Deal is one of my all-time favourite books so I was very excited to receive this book to read and review.
This Charlie Method is a spicy, forbidden romance that follows Will, Beckett and Charlie.
I loved returning to Briar U and definitely recommend reading The Graham Effect and The Dixon Rule before The Charlie Method. I enjoyed the storylines in this book and how the relationship between the three main characters evolved. It also had great side characters and I'm hoping for a book about Blake. I loved that we got to see the original Briar U characters in.this series aswell and the Dad Chat was so funny.
Thank you to Little Brown Book.and Netgalley for this book to read and review.

this book took me over a month to read, I would read a chapter, put it down and so on. I loved the off campus series when I read that but this series has just been a no for me. I will say this series is spicy and each book just gets spicer but that’s about all I enjoyed. this one was boring and I felt no connection to anything. the romance and everything else was just lacking. the random fan fiction? What was that about?
ultimately I think this will be my last Elle Kennedy book.
thank you to NetGalley & little brown book for the arc.

Another great addition to the Briar u spin off series 😃
The Charlie Method is a spicy MFM forbidden romance 🌶️🌶️🌶️ that I couldn't put down. I really enjoyed the character development—Charlie, Will, and Beckett each had their own emotional journey, some of which were heartbreaking, but the way they supported each other was incredible 🥰
This for me is a solid 4.5 stars with the right balance of storyline and spice.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

College senior Charlotte Kingston is living two lives - and she's nailing both of them. By day, she's the perfect sorority girl, a STEM student in biomedical engineering, and the adopted daughter of an overachiever family. At night, she's Charlie: a risk-taking daredevil looking for fun who finds herself chatting on a dating app with two anonymous hotties.
Will Larsen may seem like the breezy boy next door, but his congressman father is a constant thorn in his side. After a scandal hits another Division 1 hockey program, Will's dad is determined to distance his son from it, hiring a journalist to prove how squeaky-clean Will and his team are. Which means the last thing Will wants is for anyone to find out he and his best friend Beckett Dunne - a laidback Aussie shielding secret heartache - sometimes share girls in the bedroom.
When Charlie finally meets them in person and realizes she's been chatting with two gorgeous Briar U hockey players, things get steamy - fast. But all their messy secrets are piling up, and real life soon threatens to shatter the fantasy. With Charlie, Will, and Beckett all coming to terms with what they want and what others want for them, difficult decisions will need to be made.
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for this eARC in exchange of an honest review. I was looking forward to Beckett’s story but unfortunately it didn’t hit the mark for me. I struggled to connect with the characters and the story. I do think Elle Kennedy’s fans may enjoy this one but unfortunately it wasn’t for me.

Another incredible read and a great addition to the Briar universe! Elle Kennedy has done it again by providing hilarious banter and great spice while still focusing on some hard hitting themes and character development! So many lovely cameos from beloved briar characters and their kids and a quick insight into a group chat with all the OG guys from both the off campus and briar u series really got me in the feels! Charlie was a great FMC and she complemented both Beckett and Will so well! Some cameos/mentions of a few more ‘next gen’ characters, so hoping this isn’t the last of the briar universe! This book was so bingeworthy and definitely worth a read! I’d recommend reading the first two books of the Campus Diaries series first, and ideally both the Off Campus and Briar U series first as well!

This is Elle Kennedy’s hottest book yet! 🥵
When I say that I was obsessed with this book, I mean I was OBSESSED. I couldn’t stop reading, and when I wasn’t reading, I couldn’t stop thinking about this book. It has put me in the biggest reading slump as I fear no book can come close to how good this one was. It exceeded all of my expectations (and they were high!) 🙈
In typical Elle Kennedy style, this is a college/hockey romance, but this time we have 3 main characters.. Will, Beckett and Charlie(Charlotte). I didn’t know how I’d feel about a throuple style story but I fell in love with all 3 of these characters, each of them having their own chapters and good, well developed backstories. The relationships between each of them (Will and Beckett, Beckett and Charlie, Charlie and Will) were so pure, and the way they all just understood each other was top tier 🫶🏻
The Charlie Method is a sweet and spicy, emotional rollercoaster that had me laughing, crying and blushing from start to finish 🩷
Can I also just mention the “Dad Chat” - I adored this! 🥺

Thankyou to Netgalley and Elle Kennedy for sending me an arc of The Charlie Method, this review is my complete honest opinion.

I love elle kennedy as an author so i was excited to be given the chance to read this.
This book is MFM and follows Will, beck and charlie.
Charlie sees herself as a girl that has two versions of herself-one prim and proper as such and another who likes to be free and able to enjoy herself.
I found myself disliking Charlie-couldnt connect with her at all,id love blakes story though.
Dad chat was amazing.
Fan fiction wasnt needed at all.
The ending wasnt what i expected but it was one that suited them. This book just fell short for me,i prefered her other books but if you enjoy a why choose then this is perfect for you.
Thank you for giving me this chance to review The charlie method.

I’m a huge fan of Elle Kennedy’s books 😍. The Graham Effect and The Dixon Rule were two of my favourites books from last year, so I couldn’t wait for the third book.
If you’ve read the last two, do you remember Will and Becket? Two handsome hockey player that like to share a girl? Both of them are perfect boyfriend material!! 😍 This book is about them. And Charlie, a very special girl.
I love their her double life and the secret they keep together. Triple POV was great, it was amazing to read all their points of view and see how they really care for each other 🥹🫶.
I didn’t think I’d enjoy throuple book, but it turned out so well. Their personalities were perfect. Spicy scenes are 🔥😮💨🤭

2.5 ⭐️
I was super excited for this book, to be quite honest it was one of my most anticipated releases of the year, but for me it just fell flat.
I had fun in the first half but then the second half it just gets all a bit repetitive and lackluster. Will and Beckett as a duo were completely hyped up and i was so excited to see more of them *together* it was teased in the beginning the possibility of mm but then it just didn’t happen?
I also wasn’t overly a huge fan of Charlotte/Charlie - the car storyline was just a bit random and not really needed, and don’t even get me started on the fanfiction because what in gods name was that. I completely skimmed over them.
The spice was there but again, it just got a bit repetitive towards the end.
I loved Will and Beckett, however i would have loved to delve into them more, they seemed to be a bit glossed over when there could have been so much more there and their POVs were a bit bland and the relationship as a whole lacked depth. I felt i was more invested in Blake’s story than the main relationship 🥲
The second half just felt rushed and i’m disappointed because i am a massive fan of Elle and the Off Campus series it will always be a go to reread for me, but this one is definitely my least fave of the spin off series.
Thank you to Netgalley and Little Brown Book Group UK for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review

My first why choose book. I wasn’t sure what to expect. But it was fun! Beckett and Will have been my favourite characters from the beginning. So I was so excited for their story. They were as fun and as loveable as ever, and when they get protective? Hot.
I loved the dad chat. Getting cameos from our fave OG hockey guys was as entertaining as it always is.
This book probably could’ve been a little bit shorter. The fan fiction part probably wasn’t needed. I have to admit I still would’ve preferred it to be just a Beckett and Will story. Definitely different to what I’m used to reading. I don’t know how realistic it is, but I’m glad it ended happily.

This was my first time reading an MFM book, and I greatly enjoyed it! It’s no secret that I love Elle Kennedy and this series, and this book is just another hit 🤌🏻
It goes without saying that the spice in this book was WHEW. Like I knew it would be but damnnnnnn this book had me chugging water
The thing I loved the most about this book though was the emotional depth this book carried. Yes, this book was all about their romance and spice, but they each had their individual problems and showed true development at the end. I love Charlie, Will and Beckett so much 🥹
My only criticism is that things were a little too easy for them, which made it a little unrealistic. Like I wouldn’t have minded if Charlie’s parents made more of a fuss but I can see why the author wrote this book in that way.

I ADORED THIS BOOK!
I don’t think that anyone writes college romance like Elle Kennedy. She absolutely nails it every time! The plot, the banter, the spice!!
I loved Charlie, Beck and Will so much. They were so fun and I loved how their three very different personalities came together and created this little world for them that they shared. I love how their walls broke down and they shared not only smexy fun, but also pieces of themselves that they kept secret previously.
I loved the Dad Chat with the OG’s! It was very funny and I hope we get a Blake Logan book, next!

All the stars in the world!!!
I’ve set it before and I’ll say it again. The second generation series is so much better than the first generation and I will die on that hill.
This book was pure and utter perfection. It didn’t just reached my expectations. No, it exceeded them and gave me so many more things that I did not know I wanted.
RUN to read it guys

Elle Kennedy absolutely nails it! The way she blends steamy encounters with genuine emotional depth makes this book impossible to put down. You can’t help but root for these characters as they navigate their messy, complicated lives and sizzling chemistry. I devoured this book.

The fact that in book one the characters are very queerphobic and say that people in polyamorous relationships can't possibly have any intimacy with their partners makes the entire premise of this book laughable at best and a money grab at worse (as why choose romances are incredibly popular). I was looking forward to this series but unfortunately, I couldn't get past the poor representation of different types of relationships. Also, there is no need for these books to be as long as they are, 500+ pages for a contemporary college romance is too much. It's a shame as I did like the three characters when they appeared in previous books but the hypocrisy of it all was too much for me in this one.
